"Yawn~" Sarah stretched her arms to the extre making most of her shoulder bones to pop.
Lucas looked at her and chuckled, in all the madness, she still had the guts to be so lax.
"Sarah, we have to leave, quickly get up,"
Lucas said and patted her head one ti, he didn't know why but a pout had ford on Haley's face while Sandra had a hidden glint in her eyes.
"A-Alright!" Sarah panicked and wiped her mouth which had so saliva coming out from just waking up.
Her eyes beca dazed for a second making Lucas know that she was looking at the status and then she ford yet another small fireball on her palm that hovered over it.
"Shall I?" Lucas asked while offering his hand to Sarah who excepted it with a giggle.
"Such Wierd people…" Bill muttered under his breath to not let anyone hear yet Lucas just gave him the eyes in response, the poor guy just acted like he didn't do anything thinking that this would be the best ti for Lucas to actually kill him if there was a need.
Bill didn't know why but he had unlocked a fear when he first entered this place, the fear of Lucas's eyes. They looked very sharp and sotis scary too, sotis they were cold and sotis they were too kind. He didn't get Lucas and the sa thought had been in many's minds since the start.
They all clasped their hands again while Mike shot another fire bullet for reference to the front. Like usual, the bullet kept on going and going and ford a small dot in total darkness until it vanished completely.
"Bill, you keep counting the ti, and I will let anyone know if we are in danger," Lucas said and when there was a point where everyone was looking at him for a few seconds, he activated his perceptive eyes to let them rember that he still had sothing in his arsenal of skills that worked in this place.
"What do you see?" Sarah asked with curiosity.
"Nothing, the darkness is darkness, nothing special which is weird but you all are shining like beacons with your many colored auras. It's disturbing in the dark."
"Lucky you."
"Nah, not at all lucky, the skill is straining my eyes and If I keep it activated for more than 2 minutes, my eyes start bleeding even if I still have mana left."
The group made conversation to help take the mind off the dark. There were no daggers till now and it was making them all very lax about it. No creature had co knocking at the door.
"Strange…" Bill said, his voice filled with confusion.
"What is it?"
"Hmm… I have been feeling the darkness till now like it was my ho but it's starting to beco weak, it's like my intuition or skill's passive is not working at all…"
"What? Are you sure?"
"I will have to observe for a while in order to be completely sure."
3 minutes later…
"Yes, the dark is getting scary now, it doesn't feel like ho at all. Don't you all feel anything weird?" Bill asked, his hold on John's hand tightened.
"Bill," Lucas said, his voice stranger than ever, "It was you who could feel like ho till now, aside from my eyes, I feel nothing. My ears are hearing nothing, I breathe air but don't feel it's fresh at all, it's like this whole place is fake, to be honest."
Ti went by and the minutes started to feel like hours, it was getting tougher and tougher as no one seed to get accustod to the cursed place.
"Fuck! I am leaving, I can't handle this shit…" Mike said and removed his hands from both people he was standing in between.
He stepped back a few steps and entered the total darkness by mistake.
"Mike! Stop!" Lucas tried to hold the guy's hand but he entered the darkness completely.
"Sarah, co back here, we need light!"
"Y-Yeah." Sarah ca running and the chain broke completely, but luckily, everyone seed to follow the light properly.
"Is this the back?" Sarah asked confused as to which direction was what.
"I think so… Fuck! I will kill this bastard! Everyone, get in the chain again." Lucas roared in fury while looking at the darkness.
Everyone ca toward each other and held hands like it was the most normal thing to do at this point.
"Mike! Co back here! Mike!"
"Mike!"

Everyone shouted for his na and no matter how far they tried to go, it seed that Mike was not at all near until Lucas got a realization.
"Wait, Sarah."
Lucas activated his perceptive eyes and looked further.
'N-NOthing…' He thought and then he looked at the group, they were a beacon of lights and then he looked at their back seeing yet another light in the darkness.
"Quick, he is at that side!" Lucas clasped Sarah's hand tightly and made her move toward the direction where he found the sa light.
They all kept traveling and traveling until Lucas started to get hurt in the eyes, he still persisted and the traveling beca almost jogging for the first ti since they ca here.
"He is very near."
Ten seconds… twenty seconds, Lucas's left eye started bleeding blood… thirty seconds, Lucas's right eye started bleeding too… forty seconds, Lucas's left eye started bleeding fast as drops started to fall from the left side of the chin.
Until Finally, from the darkness, a man walking forward ca into their eyes sight.
There was sothing wrong, sothing was on Jerry that was foreign and Lucas had not seen it before.
Alas, he had to close his eyes and forcefully deactivated his skill. When he gazed again, there was nothing on Mike, but the guy was acting strange, he was still walking forward but very slowly.
Lucas wiped his face quickly in order to not let anyone else see him bleed like that.
"Mike?" Jerry went briskly toward Mike and stopped him from his advance, Mike stopped after Jerry's hand fell on his shoulder.
Yet he didn't look back.
"Mike? What happened?"
Mike didn't move again, he was motionless.
Yet his hand moved upward until his finger started pointing at the front, "Don't you see her calling ?"
Silence…
Everyone had a chill in their spine, they looked ahead and saw nothing.
"She is calling … she wants with her… I have to go to my Lily." Mike muttered slowly.
"Lily? Do you an your wife that died 10 years ago? Stop screwing Mike." Jerry asked and pulled him back until Mike shifted his face and body toward him and made his palm stop just inches away from Jerry's neck.
"Let go of ," Mike said in a deep voice that didn't seem to belong to him.
Jerry wanted to ask him what the hell was wrong with him but then their eyes t, and the color on Jerry's face disappeared while his eyes quivered.
"M-Mike?" Jerry asked yet when he looked at those lifeless eyes, he had sothing else in mind.
It was not all, Mike's eyes were crimson red, his pupils were gone, and the whites of his eyes had changed to crimson red.
"S… Stop-p…" A terrified voice ca from the back.
Lucas didn't know what was happening and he looked at the back where Sandra had just spoken, she was looking toward Mike with actual terror in her eyes.
Her face was pale white as if she had seen sothing very wrong.
Lucas followed her gaze and found that it was not at Mike but at his side, he looked there again and found nothing.
"Jerry, get back, sothing is wrong with him."
"Ge-Get away! Quickly" The strength in Sandra's legs was gone and she fell on her butt but all she could ever do was look at Mike's side in terror.
"Get away from !!!!" Mike shouted very loud making Jerry place his hands on his ears, Mike had just shouted in a very hoarse voice as if he had not drunk water in years.
Blood started coming out of MIke's mouth yet his eyes were still lifeless.
Jerry fell to the ground and dragged his body to the back.
"Sothing has happened to him… His voice is not like that, what do you see, Sandra." haley asked while shaking Sadra's shoulder.
Sandra quickly grabbed Haley's hands and started to move toward her, tears of terror started to form in her eyes.
"Its... Its! It latched on Mike!"
Lucas looked at Mike and froze as Mike in turn was looking at him with a strange gaze.
Soon, an ear-to-ear grin ford on Mike's face showing that his mouth and teeth were all bloodied.
"W-What the fuck?" Lucas couldn't understand when Mike jerked his body, his mouth opened wide while facing up.
A big lump of sothing ca out of MIke's mouth that Lucas couldn't see at all.
