"Level 10? That's cool." Lucas snickered at the thought that he killed sothing two levels higher than his.
Jerry this ti just looked at Lucas with a plain expression. John had already made him aware of Lucas's different behaviors and he had been very precise in so scenarios.
This was one of them.
Lucas tends to do so very crazy stuff that if given attention would seem worse than crazy. John had told him that he has a habit of attacking anything just to see if he can fair well with it or not.
Both the girls at the back were looking at the duo with a stupendous expression and Lucas on the other hand did not care for it.
He was happy to get his revenge after killing one of the higher-level rapacious plants and also getting a sweet amount of experience points.
Lucas got the whole thing outside the ground and the rope-like stem was at a whopping length of 10 ters.
Haley got the whole thing inside her storage and they started moving again only this ti Lucas was in a great and happy mood.
They ventured further and further when finally, they stopped after a lot of travel. They were very far from the shelter and so far, only a single creature, the rapacious plant ca in front of them.
The whole trip's purpose was to find those randomly spawned chests and without finding it, Lucas found the trip 'lacking'.
With the help of the markings, they went back to the shelter which only took them around 30 minutes.
"A lot of area was covered today. What do you think, Lucas?" Jerry asked with sketchy eyes as if he was trying sothing.
Lucas just shrugged with a "h" sound giving the idea of his thoughts.
The whole trip back, the n were silent while Haley kept on whispering in Sandra's ear which sounded gibberish to Lucas. Even after having great hearing than before, he was still not able to hear their whispers.
"Oh, you all finally arrived! How did the small trip go?" Bill asked the upcoming group that was going to approach the shelter's defense anyti soon.
Lucas was the first to enter and with only one glance at Bill and a sound "h" from his mouth, he went forward toward John and Ella making Bill confused.
"How did it go?" John asked while sitting on one of the log chairs, sweat was profusely falling from his head making Lucas understand that he had been training.
"Not bad but couldn't find any of those chests," Lucas said with a dejected look. But then he thought about sothing and a small smile ford on his face.
"Oh, and I also got my revenge on the rapacious plants. Let show you... Haley! Please give those herbs and the corpse." Lucas shouted and Haley while still standing and telling everything to Bill materialized every single thing Lucas got from the forest out of her spacial storage.
A pile of herbs was on one side while a big corpse of the rapacious plant was on the other one.
There was also a big chunk of at within the piles but Sandra went, picked, and carried it to the corner of the shelter only to start digging a hole to throw it inside confusing the others.
But it was so other ti's explanation and story. For now, John was fascinated while looking at the rapacious plant's big corpse.
The whole corpse was fine with no cuts or wounds other than the mouth which was like a flapping flip door of a box. It was wide open at an angle which would make it easier for it to just detach from the body easily.
"I ca across this huge rapacious plant," Lucas began, his tone filled with excitent. "I was a bit worried that things won't go as I plan yet again. But I decided to take it on anyway, just to test my skills."
John interjected, raising an eyebrow at Lucas, "Testing your skills? Isn't that a bit reckless?"
Lucas grinned, undeterred by Jerry's concern. "Well, I had been leveling up quite a bit and feeling confident. I thought, why not give it a shot? So, I walked inside its territory, away from the rest of our group, and began the fight."
"That only lasted 6 seconds," Jerry interjected while the two girls with him nodded in agreent.
John beca the sa as Jerry, undeterred by the information. It was not a surprise that Lucas could defeat the creature in a matter of seconds as his strength was demonstrated in front of everyone.
But to be done with the thing in just a few seconds was still hard to handle. And it was with the sa creature that they had such a hard ti killing the first ti.
"Wow~ Do you rember when we fought that thing for the first ti?" Sarah ca excitedly toward Lucas and gave a pat on his shoulder with a small giggle showing him how much she liked the news.
Lucas's face showed a daze with a small smile, he was thinking of the first ti they fought a low-level rapacious plant and they both almost died.
At the sa ti, he also rembered that if Sarah would have not hit that last fireball accurately, Lucas would have not been alive till now.
It was partially because of her that Lucas was still alive. His feelings for Sarah were mixed. He thought of her as a best friend but at the sa ti, there were so feelings of attraction he had towards her but in the end, the only thought of 'the ti is not right' stopped him from any advancent.
Lucas had no ti to play house when every day, their life was on the line.
"Yeah, I rember. What a good ti..."
"You almost died but whatever" Sean stated Lucas didn't bother to even listen, he was in too much of a great mood and he wasn't going to let Sean win by making his thoughts negative for him again.
"I think this bastard's going to get ended by Lucas one day or another," Bill whispered in his group which made many nod and laugh.
