After Liu Wei was mumbling from ti to ti and went quiet, he finally decided to leave his room and stayed in his library in case a custor would appear.
If he was absent during their visit, even if the puppet workers would welco them, it would still be better to welco them by himself...
Just by imagining his puppet workers’ appearance, even Liu Wei would be scared.
As soon as he stood up and walked towards the exit, Rhayven asked, "B-Big Brother, can I ask you a question?"
"Sure. What is it, Rhayven?"
"How co you have so much evil qi but then there is also elental qi that exists in harmony? Won’t they get into conflict inside your body?"
Liu Wei was surprised and he smiled.
"I am able to control them, Rhayven... at least, at the mont. That’s why I want to work hard."
"If that is the case, Big Brother. What’s the point? I an, why do you even want to work hard?"
Liu Wei was taken aback by his question.
He contemplated for so ti and replied, "You know, there is more to life. And life is not always good to us when we try to understand more, explore more into it. At the very least, I feel more alive even if the future is uncertain."
Rhayven went quiet but Liu Wei was able to perceive his emotion.
He smiled...
Liu Wei returned to the Grand Index Hall.
However, just in ti the door suddenly inford him that a previous visitor had returned.
He imdiately turned his head and gazed at the door rippling until it showed the outside view in the Radiant Fla City.
Liu Wei was surprised that Cai Hui had returned.
That was then he recalled what she promised and smiled.
"It has been a month? Ti sure flies by fast."
Liu Wei walked towards the door and stopped in front of it.
As soon as Cai Hui entered, she was frozen.
At first, it was simply because of the environnt she was currently in suddenly transford into a magical world compared to the outside.
She was still able to think and admire where she was... not until even her mind turned blank when she saw how close Liu Wei was...
Even though he was three ters away from her.
She was unable to move and think for the next few minutes, not until Liu Wei felt embarrassed and scratched his cheeks.
He asked, "Why are you frozen, Cai Hui?"
Cai Hui was shaken.
Yet, she was still silent, not knowing what to say.
Liu Wei smiled and sighed.
He said, "I can understand if you are frozen from how magical my library suddenly appears now. But I can’t understand why you are frozen while staring at , as though you just saw sothing so scary."
He then looked at her breast part and said, "Your heart is racing at a rapid speed, at that. Am I really scary?"
Cai Hui imdiately shook her head and stuttered. "N-No... I-I’m..."
Cai Hui was lost for words.
Liu Wei felt helpless by her behavior and then suddenly recalled the Spirit Kettle.
He smiled at Cai Hui, aiming to reassure her with it, yet seed to have failed.
In the end, he sighed and said, "Co, let’s sit first before we start to talk. Try the tea too, as it will definitely soothe your mind."
Without even waiting for Cai Hui to talk, Liu Wei turned around and began walking to the living room nook.
Along the way, the library attendants, his puppet workers, communicated with him, if he needed their assistance.
Liu Wei was a bit surprised that their mode of communication was non-verbal, so he simply smiled and slightly shook his head.
They eventually reached the elegant spirit-wood chairs and sat at the opposite side, with the jade table at the center.
Liu Wei smiled when Cai Hui’s eyes widened when she sat.
He thought.
I reacted the sa. Who would have thought that the wood chairs are actually soft to sit at?
Liu Wei was silent for a while, wanting to let Cai Hui admire how magical the library appeared now.
Yet, it seed Cai Hui was more distracted by him.
Catching her peeking at him from ti to ti, feeling embarrassed, Liu Wei was speechless.
He sighed and asked, "Why are you here, Cai Hui? Did the event start already? I an, the process where I have to do a set of tests to be a qualified participant?"
Cai Hui was startled and imdiately tried to compose herself.
She took a deep breath and nodded.
She said, "Y-Yes, it already started three days ago. However, rest assured Big Brother Liu Wei, I have the recomndation token from Master with and I’m planning to give this to you."
Cai Hui then took out a recomndation token from her pocket and gave it to Liu Wei.
The latter received it without hesitation, but he was still troubled as he asked, "Are you sure you want to give it to , Cai Hui? This must be precious."
Cai Hui shook her head, but then she realized sothing and nodded.
She said with a reddened cheeks, "This is nothing compared to how much I owe you, Big Brother Liu Wei. However, for Master, it is indeed precious, but since he gave it to , then it’s already mine. Even then, that is nothing since you were the one who changed my life."
Liu Wei was surprised and he simply smiled.
He shoved the recomndation to his pocket.
He looked at Cai Hui and she was still nervous.
He sighed and said, "Spirit Kettle, pour a tea on her cup."
The Spirit Kettle on the table suddenly floated and poured tea on Cai Hui’s cup, to her surprise.
She had her eyes and mouth in an "O" position.
Liu Wei smiled and said, "Magical, right? Well, everything, even an object, can possess spirit as long as they understand a bit of Dao."
Cai Hui nodded in response, but only three seconds later.
That was more than enough for the Spirit Kettle to finish pouring tea in her cup.
She was still frozen, so Liu Wei had to say, "Drink it now."
She nodded and grabbed the cup.
She drank it and Liu Wei said just in ti, "Also, don’t be surprised."
