Bai Ping’s mind went blank.

He was unable to comprehend what his Master ant.

However, his Master did not give him so ti to think.

He said, "Give a gun."

Bai Ping imdiately understood his Master was not talking to him, but on his personal butler.

Bai Ping instantly looked at his Master’s butler, who ignored and took out a gun from his pocket and handed it to his Master.

His Master remained in his position until he turned around and accepted the gun.

He gazed at Bai Ping and the latter’s heart skipped a beat.

Bai Ping was unable to say anything, not until his Master pointed the gun at him.

"M-Master! I-I am loyal to you!"

"I know," said His Master with an indifferent tone. "I am thankful for your contributions. For the last ti, contribute more greatly, for my son, for the child you looked after."

Bai Ping was stunned.

That was then, he finally understood what his Master ant.

He closed his eyes and thought, frozen in fear.

So, this is how my life will end. Perhaps, Master is right. I’m the only one holding back little Liu Wei. If I have to disappear for his sake, to grow much better than he currently is... I’m willing.

In fact, Bai Ping was already aware that his life was already set to cease at this mont.

He was only consoling himself, to justify his death that actually made no sense...

As Bai Ping was closing his eyes, his life flashed before his eyes...

They said that the last 30 seconds before your death would replay your life...

Especially the best monts.

And all the remaining ti Bai Ping had...

Replayed the mont he raised Liu Wei.

Liu Wei smiled brightly in his mind, as he suddenly heard a gun shot thundering in his ears...

...

"Dispose of his body imdiately."

His butler instantly walked forward but he stopped.

Liu Wei’s father was confused, not until the door was abruptly opened and the child-looking Liu Wei appeared with a mischievous expression on his face.

The child-looking Liu Wei innocently grinning at his father but his smile froze when he noticed the familiar lifeless body in his peripheral vision.

He slowly slid his gaze at the lifeless body and noticed Bai Ping’s head was bleeding.

He walked closer to him and kneeled, slowly tugging his body.

"Bai Ping..." He mumbled closer.

"Liu Wei."

His father’s indifferent voice echoed in the room, causing Liu Wei to shiver.

He glanced at his father and saw he was holding a gun.

At the mont, Liu Wei’s blood ran cold.

Despite being a child, after reading tons of books, even in the contemporary world, he imdiately understood what happened.

He gazed at Bai Ping again and was not sure what to feel...

Even more so on how to feel...

Sad? Panic?

He’s dead already... What’s the use of those emotions?

"Liu Wei, listen."

Liu Wei imdiately glanced at his father and simply stared at him with an apathetic expression.

His father said, "Bai Ping committed a grave sin."

Liu Wei did not reply.

His father continued, "He spoiled you. So, he had to disappear. He’s aware. He accepted it. Now, don’t let his death be in vain."

Liu Wei’s hair stood on ends.

He stared at his father and his expression slowly changed.

His face turned ugly and his eyes went bloodshot.

His face seed like an angry oni, causing his father and his personal butler to be shocked.

Liu Wei stood up and his body was trembling.

Unknown to him, a bloodmist began to surround him, dancing like it was his aura.

His father and his butler were unable to see it, but they could feel it...

Sothing was definitely wrong.

"LIU WEI!" His father shouted at the top of his lungs.

Despite feeling horrified by his son’s strange transformation, he was enraged and stood up from his seat.

The child-looking Liu Wei ignored him, keeping his terrifying gaze at his father as he could feel his wrath boiling on his body.

The bloodmist intensified, killing intent began to appear from him.

At this mont, his father was threatened, even the butler was afraid...

Strangely so, as it was the first ti in many years since he felt it.

He even thought...

That child is a demon! What happened to him?!

His master suddenly said, "Stop him."

He tried his best not to turn towards his master, hearing his voice appearing to be unbothered by his child’s strange aura.

Without hesitation, he walked forward towards Liu Wei.

Yet, the more their distance went closer, the more he really felt sothing was wrong and that caused his heart to race.

He was afraid, but even more so, befuddled.

However, without hesitation, he tried to grab Liu Wei and aid to restrain him.

To his surprise, Liu Wei easily dodged his quick grab and even broke his arm with his elbow.

The butler did not scream in pain, but the agony woke him with surprise.

What the fuck? Can a child do that?!

He was unaware, but his master was even more horrified than him.

He thought. Did we awaken a demon?!

The child-looking Liu Wei anwhile proceeded to dismantle his father’s personal butler until he was left disabled.

His father was so shocked he was unable to think clearly... not until Liu Wei appeared near him.

Before he was able to say sothing, Liu Wei jumped and punched him in the face.

However, Liu Wei’s fist abruptly stopped just an inch before it reached him.

The child-looking Liu Wei suddenly twisted his body and landed at the table in front of his father.

He turned his head and glanced at the corner of the room.

There...

A baby was staring at him while frowning.

The child-looking Liu Wei grinned and said, "You almost got there. To think this is how you take advantage of ."

The baby was sitting inside the door of a small wooden ho attached to the wall of the room.

With his crimson predatory eyes, he stared at Liu Wei and snorted.

He did not reply and simply stood up, disappearing inside the pitch darkness of his small wooden ho...
