8:30 PM, in front of a villa in the southwest of Washington D.C.

Sitting in the car, after viewing the contents and photos in the text ssage on his phone, Luo An’s eyebrows slightly furrowed. He wasn’t overly angry or tense, and he pressed a button to reply:

"Alright, how do we talk?"

A few seconds later, his phone received another ssage, the person on the other end said:

"My people are watching you, don’t ntion this to that Agent Mona. I believe Group Leader Luo An wouldn’t want to involve her."

"Next, drive to a certain coffee shop in the Southern Special Zone, we’ll contact you when you get there."

After reading the ssage, Luo An’s expression remained unchanged. He put down the phone, opened the car window, and shouted:

"Mona, I’m going to buy sothing, I’ll be back soon, make sure to prepare so red wine and candles."

Mona was opening the door at the villa entrance and hesitated for a mont upon hearing this, then smiled and nodded in agreent:

"No problem, co back soon!"

"OK."

Luo An waved to Mona with a smile, then turned the steering wheel and drove the car out of the community from another road.

From a distant vacant villa outside the community, the sight of Luo An driving away was seen through the glass. A white young man with a buzz cut, no beard, put down his binoculars, picked up his phone, and said:

"The flamingo has left, no additional movents, everything’s normal."

"Very good."

A female voice sounded from the young man’s phone, praising him quite satisfactorily before continuing:

"Stay there and make sure to keep an eye on the woman in the villa."

"Understood."

anwhile, Luo An drove leisurely toward the coffee shop ntioned in the ssage.

The coffee shop was in a sowhat remote location, and it took Luo An a while to find it. He parked the car by the roadside, got out, and entered the shop, discovering five expressionless young white n sitting inside.

Luo An glanced around and asked with a smile:

"You guys don’t look like the ones who sent the ssage."

The young white man at the front, wearing a black leather jacket, waved his hand, and imdiately two people walked up to Luo An to start searching him for weapons.

They took away the gun, magazines, and knife. The jacketed youth pulled a black hood from his pocket and put it over Luo An’s head without a word.

Luo An didn’t struggle at all, letting the others lead him out of the coffee shop and into a car of unknown make, driving left and right out of the area.

The journey was long, and Luo An sat in the car for nearly forty minutes before the vehicle finally ca to a slow stop. The jacketed n led Luo An into a building.

After a series of twists and turns, Luo An felt himself brought into a room, where he was seated on a sofa after soone pressed down on his shoulder.

Phew—

The hood was removed, and a bright light imdiately shone on Luo An’s face, making him squint instinctively. He found no one in front of him, only a laptop on the table.

Looking around, he noticed it was a room about the size of a bedroom, furnished with a sofa, table, and laptop. Thirty young white n stood with arms crossed against the walls, expressionless, silently watching Luo An.

All of these young n had bulging waists, clearly carrying weapons.

Tap—

Just as Luo An was observing his surroundings, the laptop suddenly lit up. A young white woman with short blonde hair and a few freckles, looking under thirty, appeared on the screen.

"Good evening, Group Leader Luo An."

The woman smiled and greeted, then introduced herself:

"You can call Sister Ali."

"Hello, Sister Ali, I thought you would et in person."

Luo An naturally adjusted the laptop to see better and said with a smile:

"Besides, your outfit doesn’t look much like a nun’s."

Called Sister Ali, the woman wasn’t in a black and white habit with a hood. She dressed like an ordinary person in a shirt and jacket, only wearing a small upside-down cross necklace.

"Clothing and appearance are not important; faith and soul are fundantal."

Sister Ali said devoutly, then got to the point, smiling:

"Group Leader Luo An, I invite you to join our Judgnt Process Church."

The Judgnt Process Church was a na Luo An had never heard of. Keeping his expression unchanged, he said:

"Bringing here like this feels like your church isn’t quite legit."

Sister Ali chuckled:

"Sorry, Group Leader Luo An, many have misconceptions about our church. We’re doing this for your own good."

"OK."

Luo An didn’t press on the matter and asked directly:

"Joining this Judgnt... whatever church you ntioned, what benefits does it have for ?"

"It’s the Judgnt Process Church."

Sister Ali, with a devout face, clasped her upside-down cross necklace and said solemnly:

"Our Judgnt Process Church differs from those intangible churches. We insist on practicality and application; everything is for the believers.

We study the soul and self, the relationships between the universe and other life, helping believers to explore various possibilities in education, addiction recovery, business managent, marriage, stress managent, work, art, and interpersonal relationships, helping you develop and enhance the quality of life better..."

Sister Ali said a lot, and from her description, the Judgnt Process Church sounded like one of the world’s rare excellent organizations, thinking of the believers at every turn, aiming to help solve life difficulties.

As Sister Ali spoke, the young white n’s faces in the room showed religious fervor, and Luo An nodded repeatedly. Seeing this, Sister Ali’s eyes flashed with satisfaction.

After finishing, Sister Ali licked her lips with a smile and asked:

"Group Leader Luo An, do you have any questions?"

"Just a small question."

"Please go ahead."

Luo An smiled and asked:

"May I ask, what benefits does joining the Judgnt Process Church have for ?"

"...."

Religious matters might be ingrained in his genes; Luo An’s principle has always been to believe when useful and disregard when not. It’s practicality at its finest—believe when eggs are gifted, don’t believe when they’re not.

Luo An’s new question was identical to the old one, but the aning behind it was entirely different.

Everyone’s smart here; faith-based stuff might fool others, but not . Let’s talk about sothing tangible.

Sister Ali didn’t get upset, just gave Luo An a deep look and didn’t directly answer, but loudly ordered:

"Except for Harries, the rest of you wait outside the room."

As Sister Ali’s voice fell, no one in the room questioned her; they opened the door and filed out.

In the end, only the original leather-clad youth remained, closing the door, arms crossed, silently watching Luo An.

Luo An exchanged a glance with the youth in the leather jacket, nodded at him smilingly, then looked at Sister Ali on the screen, saying with a smile:

"After discussing the intangible, shall we talk about sothing tangible?"

"There’s no intangible; we’ve been helping believers."

Sister Ali casually rebutted Luo An, then clasped her hands, seriously saying:

"Luo An Greenwood, you don’t want to remain just a group leader forever, right?"

Luo An: "..."
