Agent Luo An tilted his head to look at Danny, seeing her delicate little face filled with seriousness.

Before Agent Luo An could ask, Danny continued crisply:

"My mom was working, and a black colleague took her picture. It must have been that black person who kidnapped my mom!"

"What?"

Hearing this, Agent Luo An looked up and exchanged a glance with Reed, then hurriedly asked:

"When did this happen?"

"I don't rember."

Danny pursed her lips, her eyes reddening again, and explained in a low voice:

"That day, I had a stomach ache, and after my mom took to see the doctor, she took to the supermarket for fun. While I was playing gas on the table, that black colleague of my mom's hid behind the chips, pulled out a black box, and took a photo of my mom..."

Danny's words beca more and more jumbled as she spoke, and Agent Luo An didn't understand the specifics of that day, but he grasped the implication of her words:

There was a black person who had covertly taken pictures of Tamara while she was working at the supermarket checkout.

"Thank you, Danny, your information is very helpful to ."

Seeing Danny started to cry again, Agent Luo An quickly and clumsily tried to comfort her.

Just then, a black car slowly pulled up to the curb, and two middle-aged white won in uniform, along with a middle-aged white man in a police outfit, got out of the car.

"Hello, you must be Agent Luo An."

One of the white won, upon seeing the petite, blond loli being cradled by the fully-ard Luo An, with an even more muscular and fully-ard man beside him, twitched at the corner of her mouth but still extended her hand and said:

"My na is Anna, from the New Jersey Child Protection Departnt."

"Hello, just call Luo An."

He shook hands with her and after carefully inspecting her credentials, he was sure there were no problems before handing Danny over to her.

He then pointed to the red bungalow next door and briefly described Sanderson's ordeal and current situation.

After listening to Luo An's account, Anna nodded and said in a serious tone:

"Don't worry, we'll take good care of Danny and keep a close watch on Sanderson. We'll only return Danny to him if Sanderson changes his drinking habit and regains the ability to take care of Danny."

"Thank you for your efforts."

After shaking hands with her again, Luo An had a brief chat with her. Just as he turned to leave, Danny suddenly called out to him, then stuffed her little hair clip into his hand.

"Luo An, this is the hair clip my mom bought for ."

Danny, trying to hold back sobs, clutched Luo An's hand and wouldn't let go, her delicate little face filled with pleading:

"You must catch the bad guy who hurt my mom, please..."

"...I promise you, Danny."

He sighed, then in front of Danny, he placed the hair clip into the pocket over his chest and patted her little head, solemnly promising:

"I will definitely catch him."

The black SUV drove forward, and Luo An, sitting in the passenger seat, looked through the rearview mirror to see Danny, who was still reluctantly staring in their direction, and his expression turned grim.

"As the FBI, you'll encounter many more situations like this."

Reed, the driver, pulled out a pack of gum from nowhere, offered a piece to Luo An and popped one into his own mouth, and while chewing said:

"You'll get used to it eventually."

Without speaking, taking the gum and placing it in his mouth, Luo An looked at the information he had just obtained from Sanderson's place. After a few seconds of silence, he took out his phone and called Mona:

"Mona, check the Wal-Mart in ** area, see if they have any black employees."

The clattering of computer keys sounded on the other end of the phone, and after a mont, Mona replied:

"The payroll records of the supermarket show they have two black employees. One is fifty-six years old, a security guard, and is still working.

The other one is a twenty-eight-year-old nad Joan, a freight handler, who was fired three weeks ago for theft."

"OK."

Luo An nodded, signaling Mona to send him the ho address and place of employnt of the second black employee before hanging up the phone.

After reading the ho address to Lede, Luo An continued to flip through the docunts in his hand:

"Let's check out this Joan first, he's currently working at a chanic shop, which is conveniently on the way to the supermarket."

"OK."

Lede nodded, stepped on the gas, and turned the steering wheel, the dark SUV imdiately headed in a different direction.

"Joan has been here for two weeks, working hard, and nothing has gone missing here."

The chanic shop's owner, an older black man, did not refuse when he learned of Luo An and Lede's purpose, and led them straight to Joan while continually praising Joan as a good lad.

Regarding the previous incident of Joan being fired from the supermarket for theft, the black shop owner scoffed and said directly:

"In that supermarket, the guys who worked with Joan were all white, they didn't like Joan, a black man who carried more goods than them and earned more money."

Luo An and Lede exchanged glances without saying a word.

"Joan! Soone's looking for you!"

"Coming!"

Hearing the boss calling him, a black man with thick lips responded and slowly crawled out from under a car, appearing before Luo An and Lede.

"You..."

Before Luo An and Lede could speak, the black man Joan, seeing their equipnt, raised his hands without a word:

"I don't know why you're looking for , but I have to say in advance that I'm unard, please make sure your guns don't go off."

"...OK."

Seeing the other party's practiced motion, Luo An's mouth twitched, then he didn't waste any words and asked directly:

"Hi, Joan, do you rember Tamara?"

"Yeah, the cashier at Wal-Mart, I rember her."

Joan nodded, slowly standing up from the ground, Luo An continued:

"She's gone missing, and soone said that before she disappeared, you had secretly taken photos of her."

"NO! FU-K!"

Hearing Luo An's words, Joan's face changed, and he cursed a few tis before hastily explaining:

"Bro, that must be sothing the Wal-Mart manager told you guys, I'm telling you, it's absolutely a fra-up!

A few weeks ago, when I was moving goods in the supermarket warehouse, I saw two people interacting in a corner over the produce, so I imdiately went over to scold them.

But when I got there, I saw that those two were actually the supermarket manager and his wife!

So the next day, the manager said I was stealing in the supermarket and fired ."

"OK."

Luo An glanced at Joan without showing any emotion and did not dwell on this issue, but continued to inquire:

"During your ti at the supermarket, did you notice anyone lingering around Tamara, or did soone harass her before she disappeared?"

"Sorry, I really didn't pay attention to that."

Joan, his hands covered in grease, casually wiped them on his work clothes, explaining:

"As you know, my job at that ti was to move things in the supermarket warehouse, I hardly ever went to the storefront, so I only knew of Tamara's existence, but I wasn't familiar with her life and work."
