Outside the apartnt, on the streets by the front and back doors, two cars each were parked, and from each car, 4 people stepped out, making a total of 16 individuals dressed in suits, wearing masks, and carrying rifles, all of whom slowly approached the apartnt.
Inside the apartnt, Hunter Anderson, with only a handgun in hand, was dripping cold sweat upon seeing so many enemies; he was confident he could kill one or two enemies by surprise, but he was powerless against the rest.
Having just learned part of the reason behind his cousin's death, Hunter swallowed his saliva. After a mont of thought, his eyes flashed fiercely:
He planned to risk his life to hold back the enemies for Luo An, helping Luo An break out from the apartnt and escape from this place.

People like Captain Lawrence who moved against his cousin were rely tools.

Previously, Michelle had found out that Lawrence had been married before, his son being six years old and living with his ex-wife.
After saying this, Luo An directly put away the phone that had not dialed out.

Luo An didn't explain further; instead, he miraculously pulled out three shock grenades from behind his waist and stuffed them into Hunter's hands, who looked utterly astonished:
"Be extra careful later on, if things go south, throw one."

Just as Hunter nodded in agreent, albeit with a complicated expression, the enemies outside the apartnt had already reached the main door. The enemies at both the front and back door, carrying rifles, burst into the apartnt simultaneously, leaving a few to guard the exit outside the apartnt.
"Check every room!"
"Quickly, quickly!"
"Go upstairs!"
The black-clad enemies, wearing black masks, acted swiftly, raising their rifles and promptly started searching every room in the apartnt.
One of the black-clad enemies stepped onto the apartnt stairway; Luo An, without hesitating, directly pulled out a shock grenade and threw it downstairs.
The leading black-clad enemy's pupils shrank:
