"The information shows that Triss has a small villa in Malibu."

Mona's fingers danced on the keyboard as she replied:

"Every ti Triss arrived at the villa, she would be picked up from there.

I checked the car that picked her up; the owner's na is Juan Alberto Canas."

Repeating this sowhat tricky na, clearly of Spanish origin, Luo An asked:

"Who is he? What is the situation with his identity information?"

"I know him, that guy is a rich tycoon."

Before Mona could reply, Reesi, who had been sitting on the side, stood up with a solemn face and said:

"And his father was one of the leaders of the previous generation of MS-13."

MS-13, one of the most dangerous gangs within federal territories, originated in South Arica, El Salvador, with mbers spread across states and major cities in Arica.

Moreover, MS-13 also engaged in Old Mo's drug trade, with thods even more brutal and aggressive than local gangs.

The FBI's database shows that mbers of the organization in San Francisco once brutally murdered a family, simply because they briefly blocked that man's car.

Reesi, who had previously worked in the intelligence departnt, had collected information about the MS-13 gang and had seen information about Juan Alberto Canas' father.

Different from those other mbers of MS-13 who have always struggled at the bottom of society, Canas' father fought hard in the gang, gained a certain status, and imdiately sent Canas to the federation to study hard.

Canas did not disappoint his father, not only excelling but also often receiving scholarships, and eventually got into Boston University and was recognized as an outstanding graduate of the university.

"So, what you are saying is"

Leid also caught on at this ti, with an incredulous look on his face:

"Triss, as the Chief Financial Officer of a major company, spends ti with Canas every so often?"

"I'm afraid it's not just Triss."

Thinking about Triss's blank history in her childhood, the ti when Canas' father sent Canas to the federation, and Canas' age this year...

Luo An's eyes narrowed slightly as he continued to ask:

"Does Canas et with other people regularly every now and then?"

"You've got it right."

Checking the entire schedule of the car that picked up Triss, Mona listed a na list on the computer with a serious face and said:

"Besides Triss, there are three other won of similar ages to hers, and they are all Chief Financial Officers of so companies."

"Good."

Patting Mona's shoulder, Luo An thought for a mont, then looked at William and asked:

"How are you getting on with the phone records of those around Triss?"

"We found two phone records that were unexpected."

William leaned back, displaying the information from the computer to Luo An.

Luo An looked down at it and smacked his chin forcefully:

"I knew it!"

Then Luo An, holding a file folder, quickly walked to the front of the office area and began to write and draw on the whiteboard.

After a long ti, the whiteboard was filled with writing, Luo An straightened up, casually threw the pen, and, facing the gaze of the agents, explained:

"Based on the information collectively investigated by all mbers of our Team 5, the truth behind this case can almost be figured out now."

Canas's father, despite his humble origins, had remarkable foresight.

He recognized the importance of education, kept Canas away from the internal strife of MS-13, and enrolled him in federal schools to plan for his future.

Canas's father took in young female orphans early, brainwashed them to obey Canas, then had them well-educated to beco his future aides.

After graduating from college, Canas started placing these won as Chief Financial Officers in his companies to help him manage his business, and Triss was one of them.

As Canas got older, stepping into his most vigorous years, and with Triss often living away, she didn't have the courage to defy Canas, but she was bold enough to have a boyfriend to please herself.

Thinking that the owner of the costics company might be a puppet placed to monitor Triss, Luo An felt that Canas most likely knew about Triss having a boyfriend, but just turned a blind eye.

From her past behavior, Triss was the kind of woman who knew how to prioritize.

However, Luo An saw another possibility; with increasing age and a life of polygamy, Canas probably couldn't keep up anymore...

But what Canas didn't expect was that Loel, who aspired to climb to the pinnacle of life with Triss's help, had exerted all his efforts during their gas, which slowly but surely drew Triss's heart closer to Loel. In the end, she even secretly helped solve the financial problems of Loel's construction company.

When Loel proposed to her, Triss suddenly realized the truth and firmly rejected him.

Yet deep down, Triss still cared for Loel and despised her double life, so she would go out drinking and lanting after work.

The duty of the costics company's female boss was to monitor Triss, and upon discovering her betrayal and drunken outcries, she imdiately called Canas.

Upon hearing this, Canas did not hesitate and promptly had his subordinates contact Rossland Lewis.

This was the two phone records William had ntioned earlier, appeared just a few hours before Loel and Triss were kidnapped by Rossland Lewis, one after the other.

"Son of a bitch!"

"Damn it!"

Having listened to Luo An's narrative, Mona and Reesi cursed softly under their breath.

Leidy above looked at the content on the whiteboard and thoughtfully asked:

"So, Rossland used torture thods like nail pulling to interrogate Triss and Loel for the flow of that money, right?"

Hearing this, Luo An shook his head in denial:

"No, I don't think so!"

Mona and Reesi, who were about to nod, paused in confusion, and Leidy's coffee pouring motion froze as all three turned to Luo An and asked:

"What is it then?"

"You all shouldn't forget, Canas's father was one of the leaders of the previous generation of MS-13."

Luo An pointed to the data and photos on Mona's computer, took a sip of coffee, and continued:

"Although his father has passed away, Canas still maintains a close relationship with MS-13, and these photos prove it.

Moreover, the files shown by Mona earlier indicate that the companies controlled by Canas and these won are not small in scale, but most are fixed assets.

Yet, Canas has consistently good cash flow, and those companies have never lacked funds since their inception.

The only reason I can think of for this is..."

Before Luo An could finish, the agents of the Number Five Investigation Team all had a mont of realization and exclaid together:

"Money laundering!"

"Exactly!"

Luo An nodded, this had to be the reason why Canas was so eager to initiate interrogation and then to kill Triss and Loel.

Canas wanted to know if Triss had told anyone else about it because what he feared the most was the exposure of his money laundering.

That was his basis for survival.

At that mont, the eting room door was flung open as Augustus walked in with a smile on his face.
