Border Wasteland Region.
The Sky Vault hovered with a faint blood-red hue, a color that had co to be ever since the outbreak of the blood war in the Hollow Void World.
Even the scorching sun, which dissolved the pervasive Blood Qi, would soon be overwheld again by the surge of blood color.
The sky was now dark, tinged with a shade of red, and from ti to ti, Blood Rain would sprinkle across the Border Wasteland.
Faced with such a scene, the peoples of the Border Wasteland had long since grown accustod.
Although they could not experience the war outside the Hollow Void themselves, they could still imagine the brutality beyond.
Fortunately, the Human Realm’s Hollow Void Defense Line held strong, firmly securing the Human World Earth.
Although now and then mbers of the exotic clans landed in the Border Wasteland, they did not amount to a significant threat.
Overall, the entire Human World Earth remained relatively tranquil.
In the Border Wasteland Region, the Gu Yuan Tribe had War Masters patrolling the entire land.
Should any exotic clan’s strong ones descend, they would swiftly eradicate the intruders!
This had greatly stabilized the hearts of the people in the Border Wasteland Region.
Three years ago, the sixty-three Battle Divisions that were sealed by the Gu Yuan Tribe’s Imperial Edict, including the four major marquis divisions, two top-grade battle divisions, and many mid-grade battle divisions, had already gathered their peoples and completed the forging of their tribes.
Although these tribes were hastily assembled and appeared immature, with no deep foundations, the gathering of people and the protection of strong ones greatly increased the security of many tribe mbers, who even managed to obtain more abundant Blood Food.
Furthermore, after the Safe Passage that traversed the entire Border Wasteland was opened, all major tribes of the Border Wasteland Domain fully ca to life, exchanging what they had for what they lacked, resources circulating.
Teams ford by the various tribes acted as caravans, traveling through the Wilderness, using the Safe Passage to reach destinations hundreds of thousands of miles away to trade their resources for those needed by their own tribes.
For those caravans moving along the Safe Passage, every Human War Tribe they passed would warmly invite them to rest within their tribe.
With so luck, these caravans could trade all their resources along the way.
Southern Region of Border Wasteland, Lion Tiger Mountain.
The Blood Tiger War Departnt, a mid-grade Battle Division sealed by the Gu Yuan Tribe three years ago, was established by a disciple of the War God Temple nad An Hu.
Lion Tiger Mountain was located roughly midway on the Safe Passage of the Southern Region, about three hundred thousand miles from Zhen Nan City.
Three years ago, An Hu took the Imperial Edict sealed by Xiao Chen, along with Divine Objects representing fate, and alone, he ca to the sealed lands of Lion Tiger Mountain to gather the tribe people.
The mid-grade Lion Tiger Battle Division already had a following of one hundred forty thousand.
With ten thousand sets of fine armor granted by the Gu Yuan Tribe, they ford an elite Guardian Clan Soldiers unit!
At this mont, the encampnt of the Blood Tiger War Departnt was beginning to take shape, and a sense of cohesion gradually erged.
In front of the Tribe City built by the Blood Tiger War Departnt lay the Safe Passage that andered towards the distance, finally vanishing at the end of the Vast Mountains.
Dusk fell upon the western lands.
The mbers of the Blood Tiger Tribe who had gone out to hunt began to return to their encampnt.
As the tribe had only recently been established and lacked resources, they relied on hunting exotic beasts and collecting herbs to slowly accumulate their foundation.
Even the chieftain An Hu himself had to enter the Desolate Ancient Forest to hunt evil beasts or chase down scattered survivors of the Exotic Clan.
Now, using the extensive Safe Passage and the allied tribes along its route, the Gu Yuan Clan had transford the Border Wasteland into a tightly knit net.
This left those exotic clan survivors with no chance of escape, forcing them to hide even deeper within the forests and mountains, where greater dangers lurked in the depths.
As evening approached, faint wisps of cooking smoke rose from the Blood Tiger Tribe, and sturdy children, at the calls of the won, ran towards their hos.
If not for the omnipresent blood color in the sky and the occasional drops of Blood Rain, the scene before them would seem quite peaceful.
The warriors returning to the Tribe carried various fortunes—so were laden with rewards, so returned with scant gains, and so even bore injuries.
But without exception, they all exuded a strong sll of blood.
Thud, thud, thud!
At that mont, the sound of heavy footsteps ca from the long road outside the Tribe.
The mbers of the Blood Tiger War Departnt didn’t panic; instead, they looked eagerly toward the bend in the road in the distance.
Soon enough, a massive beast obscured by the mountains around the bend appeared—a forty-odd-ter large Black-Backed Turtle.
Though a turtle, it was surprisingly fast.
Its sheer size ant that each step it took covered dozens of ters.
“Hu Bo’s Black Water Great Turtle has co~.”
“Hu Bo’s Black Water Great Turtle has co~.”
By the ti the colossal turtle approached close to the Blood Tiger War Departnt’s city walls, the children of the Blood Tiger War Departnt rushed around it excitedly, showing no sign of fear, and the adults did not stop them.
This was a three-star Black Water Mystic Turtle!
The giant turtle was actually a mobile warehouse, with more than ten warriors sitting cross-legged atop it; leading them was a middle-aged warrior, a second heaven in the Towering Realm.
When faced with the approaching children, the giant turtle didn’t burst into a rage or attack them.
Instead, it nudged forward with its enormous head, toppling the oncoming little ones to the ground.
Several children imdiately burst into tears, eliciting laughter from the surrounding warriors.
“Elder Wu, has it been half a year since you last passed through our Blood Tiger Tribe?” Soon enough, a figure appeared from within the Blood Tiger Tribe.
It was An Hu.
“Chief An, long ti no see.
In these past days, following the orders of my chieftain, I took a trip to the Border Wasteland City along the Safe Passage.
This ti, I was instructed to visit Zhen Nan City to purchase so Beast Bone Treasure Blood and resources for Spirit dicine for the tribe.”
The warrior from the Towering Realm’s second heaven, who was atop the giant turtle, didn’t demonstrate any contempt for An Hu, despite being an elder from a marquis-rank Battle Division.
He too jumped down from the giant turtle and said with a fist salute.
Even though the Blood Tiger was only a dium-ranked Battle Division, they were backed by the ruler of the Border Wasteland, and their own Hu Bo Marquis Division was also bestowed by the Border Wasteland’s ruler.
“Just in ti, these past days, our Blood Tiger War Departnt also amassed so Beast Bone Treasure Blood and resources for Spirit dicine and Treasure dicines.
Our tribe is busy with nurous affairs, and we cannot spare the manpower to lead our warriors to Zhen Nan City.
Now that Elder Wu has co, we will trade these items to you, Elder Wu!”
After exchanging pleasantries, the Blood Tiger spoke up again.
“That would be excellent.
This old turtle of mine still has so space on its back, I wonder if Chief An is looking to exchange for Yuan Stones or Blood Energy!”
With a venerable being in charge, the developnt of the Hu Bo Marquis Division was naturally swift, and they even ford a caravan to trade between cities and tribes, acquiring resources needed by the tribes.
Just as with this trip, Elder Wu was returning from Zhen Nan City, which was close to the Luo Long Mountain Range: a place rich in resources, naturally attracting a large number of rangers.
“We’ll stick with the usual, exchange for Blood Energy,” An Hu said offhandedly.
Then, he led Elder Wu and his group into the tribe.
Over three years, the influence of the Ancient Desolation World had grown once again.
Blood Energy had beco as significant a cultivation resource as Yuan Stones, and even more favored by warriors.
Because even warriors in the Bone-Tempering Realm could directly absorb Blood Energy to refine their Martial Arts, unlike the Yuan Stones, which they could not absorb directly.
Like An Hu, he had an Ancient Desolation Command in his hands.
Just as the Hu Bo Marquis Division’s caravan traveled the Safe Passage without hindrance, the scene at the Blood Tiger War Departnt was a common sight throughout the entire Border Wilderness Domain, a microcosm of the exchanges between nurous human tribe.
Whether it was in the Southern Region of Border Wasteland, the East Region, the Northern Region, or the Western Region, all the major tribes brought out resources they didn’t need, exchanging them for the cultivation resources they required.
With the necessary resources, the tribal strength naturally increased significantly.
Of course, while called Safe Passages, that didn’t an they were completely without danger.
The passages andered through the Desolate Ancient Forest and deep mountains.
Despite being guarded by tribes along the way, exotic beasts might still charge out of the forests.
If a caravan encountered this, they would have to rely on their own luck!
Therefore, unless absolutely necessary, many caravans would choose to rest overnight in the tribes along the way when dusk fell, setting out again after daylight the following day.
Sky Beast City.
Located in the Border Wasteland Southwest Region, the ancient city rose a hundred feet high and covered an area of a hundred square miles.
Its outer walls were cast with Iron Water, mighty and tall, lacking only the tempering of blood and fire.
As a Male City, Sky Beast City was obviously too young, without the wear and tear of the years!
Nowadays, nearly a million people had gathered in Sky Beast City, of which more than 70% were rangers.
The rest were warriors from many tribes of the Border Wasteland.
The city was also close to the Luo Long Mountain Range.
The wealth of nearby resources was a natural magnet for many to converge.
There were also one hundred thousand Guardian Clan Soldiers protecting the entire city!
The city lord was Huang Xiaotian!
He was also one of Xiao Chen’s disciples who brought him both joy and frustration, known for his love of food.
Now, all the warriors in the entire Sky Beast City knew their city lord had a fondness for gastronomy.
When he saw an unknown fierce beast, he would try his best to stew it in a pot.
Currently, the most prosperous place in Sky Beast City was the Food Pavilion.
In the past, their city lord’s favorite activity after cultivation was to visit various Food Pavilions to taste new delicacies, a practice that gave the city’s Food Pavilions considerable anxiety.
Because if any Food Pavilion satisfied the city lord, Huang Xiaotian was generous with rewards; furthermore, his patronage was not for free als.
He was so lavish that every Food Pavilion wished for the city lord to visit each and every day.
Not to ntion the demon bear with the dragon horn!
However, in recent days, it had been over ten days since the city lord had been seen at any of the Food Pavilions.
Rumors had it that the city lord had co across his nesis, to the extent that even his favorite dicinal als were being neglected!
According to one of the guards at the city lord’s mansion, the lord was still in retreat when a mysterious purple-clad figure dragged him out.
Sky Beast City’s city lord’s mansion.
In the Great Hall sat Huang Xiaotian, the city’s strongest figure and an expert in the Venerable Realm, wearing a wry smile as he looked at the elegant purple figure occupying the seat of honor.
The girl in a purple dress, around fifteen or sixteen in age, sported spirited and crafty large eyes that occasionally shoot sideways glances at Huang Xiaotian.
