Golden Paragon had a maximum activation ti of five minutes.
No matter how well Broken had managed to sustain the gauge during the fight, the mont the tir reached its limit, he would inevitably lose the Avatar.
And so, as the battlefield slowly settled, the suffocating darkness faded, replaced by light once more. The towering presence of Golden Paragon behind Broken flickered—then vanished completely.
One by one, the Gaia Beasts dissipated. Even Gaia herself, who had stood beside Broken, disappeared into nothingness.
The battle had taken everything from him.
Now, Golden Paragon entered its 48-hour cooldown, a brutal penalty that rendered Broken completely unable to use any of his skills. At this mont, he was incapable of continuing the fight.
But he wasn't the only one.
As the effects of the battle unraveled, another shift beca clear—the layers of ice coating the battlefield were fading at a rapid pace. The heavy snowfall had stopped. The arena, once dominated by an icy fortress, was now lting away.
It wasn't just Broken who had reached his limit.
Across from him, Frostedge had collapsed to one knee, his sword dug into the ground, struggling to hold himself upright.
He had taken massive damage.
His health, which had previously recovered at terrifying speed, wasn't regenerating anymore. His Frost Titan—completely gone. His once-dominant ice domain had crumbled into nothingness.
The fight had drained both of them.
But…
If Frostedge could still stand… if he could launch just one more attack…
Then Broken wouldn't be able to stop it.
The entire stadium fell into an eerie silence, every single person holding their breath.
This was it.
The final mont.
The battle's outco rested on what happened next.
Brando's voice trembled with excitent, barely able to contain the sheer weight of the mont.
"This… this is beyond anything we could've imagined!"
"Broken's Golden Paragon is gone!"
"But look at Frostedge! The Frost King himself is down on one knee! His health isn't recovering! His legendary endurance—failing!"
"Both players have thrown everything into this fight. They've pushed beyond their limits, beyond what should've been possible!"
"And now—it all cos down to one final mont!"
"WHO—IS—GOING TO FALL FIRST!?"
Frostedge let his sword drop to the ground. Slowly, he lifted his head, and for the first ti since the battle began, a faint smile crossed his face.
He stood up.
His eyes t Broken's.
They took slow steps toward each other, closing the distance. No words were exchanged, yet sohow, they understood each other completely.
The price of Frostedge's defeat was clear now. His incredible skill set—designed to control Broken's movents while dealing devastating damage over ti—had co at a cost. No one could endure a fight against Frostedge without an imnse recovery rate like the one Broken had with Gaia's support.
But at the sa ti, Frostedge's defense had made him nearly untouchable. Very few could have simultaneously withstood his onslaught and still forced him this close to his limit.
They stood face to face for a mont, neither speaking.
Then, Frostedge broke the silence.
"That last move…" he murmured, his voice just loud enough for Broken to hear. He didn't elaborate.
He should be understood why Broken had concealed his Eternal Fla Form from the caras.
"Next ti, I'll have a counter for that too." His smile widened.
Broken chuckled. "That was a battle I'll never forget."
They exchanged a small nod of respect—then bowed to each other.
And just like that, Frostedge raised both hands in the air.
He had surrendered.
BROKEN HAD WON!
The stadium erupted.
A deafening roar of cheers and shouts filled the air as Brando scread into his mic, his voice barely audible over the madness.
"BROKEN TAKES IT! HE TAKES IT! AFTER ONE OF THE GREATEST BATTLES IN IMMORTAL LEGACY HISTORY—BROKEN IS THE CHAMPION!"
The crowd was on its feet, roaring his na.
"WHAT A FIGHT! WHAT A FINAL! THIS—WILL BE TALKED ABOUT FOR YEARS TO CO!"
So ti later, both players erged from their capsule devices, greeted by an explosion of cheers. The stadium was still buzzing with excitent, the energy refusing to fade even after the battle had ended.
Leon barely had ti to take a breath before he saw Han Feng being assisted out of his capsule. Without hesitation, he moved toward him.
Han Feng, despite everything, there was no sign of disappointnt on his face. Instead, as they were side by side, he looked at Leon with an expression of pure respect.
anwhile, the host was practically screaming into the mic, hyping up the historic victory.
Then, as the crowd's chanting grew louder, Leon was handed the championship trophy.
The mont he lifted it high into the air—
The stadium erupted.
Deafening roars filled the air, echoing in waves of pure celebration. The cheers, the flashing lights, the sea of people chanting his na—it all crashed over him at once.
Leon let out a deep breath, his chest rising and falling as if the weight of it all had finally settled in.
He had won.
Who would have thought?
That was a battle beyond anything he had ever experienced.
To secure this victory, he had no choice but to activate Eternal Fla, a skill with severe conditions. The ability demanded him to absorb the souls of his fallen enemies before it could even be triggered—sothing that could only occur under exceptionally rare circumstances.
It was a one-ti-only move.
And he had used it.
But now, as he stood there holding the championship trophy, every ounce of effort, every risk, every desperate mont—it had all been worth it.
And for this achievent, Leon was officially crowned MVP of the Eternal Challenge, the very first official tournant hosted by the ga's creators.

Leon stood in front of Han Feng, who was seated in his wheelchair, preparing to enter the waiting car where his assistant stood by.
For a mont, they simply looked at each other.
Then, Han Feng spoke first.
"There are still a lot of things I want to pursue in this ga."
Leon remained silent, listening.
"And… I have no intention of joining any guild."
Guild? Why was Han Feng bringing this up?
Han Feng said with a small smile. "It's just out of respect. Before anyone tries to recruit , I'd rather explain my position first."
Leon raised an eyebrow. "You know I was about to invite you to join Vensalor's Guild?"
Han Feng chuckled and shook his head. "That would definitely be an amazing offer."
It was exactly what Leon's guildmates had been discussing earlier. Recruiting Frostedge would be a massive victory for them. A player of his caliber would be a ga-changer for any guild.
But Leon also understood sothing else.
Han Feng had his own path, his own ambitions, and forcing him into a guild would only take away that freedom.
So, when Han Feng made his stance clear, it wasn't just a refusal—it was a sign of respect. He had spoken first, acknowledging what was coming, so that Leon wouldn't have to extend an offer just to hear a rejection.
"I hope we et again in the ga," Han Feng continued. "And surely, at next year's Duel of Champions."
Leon nodded slowly. "I'll be waiting to defeat you again."
Han Feng smirked. "I won't make it easy for you next ti."
They shook hands, the rivalry between them solidified.
They didn't need to be guildmates to be competitors.
And maybe… they didn't need to be in the sa guild to be friends, either.
