The remaining five teams in the arena pressed on with their challenges, each still working through their respective puzzles and battling new waves of monsters.
Two of the teams had already solved their puzzles and were advancing to face another set of monster waves. With victory now within reach, they were just a step away from confronting the Raid Boss.
The battlefield dynamic shifted dramatically after lliandra's elimination. With her out of the picture, there was no longer a threat capable of disrupting the other teams as they worked on their challenges.
anwhile, the remaining combatants in the arena continued to apply relentless pressure on what was left of Team Destroyer. Their focus was to eliminate Team Destroyer as quickly as possible. Once that was done, they could turn their attention to battling one another to secure the coveted two spots for victory.
"I don't think even Team Destroyer can claw their way out of this one."
"Yeah, no matter how impressive they were in the first round, it looks like this is the end for them."
"Well, this is what happens when you underestimate your opponents and only bring five players to a match."
"If anyone's to bla, it's Broken for not showing up to this match."
"Who knows what that rising star is thinking? Maybe he's got a case of star syndro? Lol." On the screen, the battle grew more intense as Venom, the werewolf-like Wrath Champion, relentlessly pressed Charlyn. Despite her constant duplication to evade him, Venom's speed and raw power allowed him to keep up, swiftly destroying her clones one after another. His movents were feral and calculated, pushing Charlyn closer to her limits.
anwhile, Kingsley was locked in a fierce duel with Mooz, who had taken his Armored Hawk form. It was like watching Kingsley fight his own beast-a high-speed aerial clash of claws, armor, and raw might. Mooz darted through the air with uncanny precision, putting Kingsley on the defensive.
Elsewhere, other players focused their efforts on cornering Goldrich, who struggled to hold the team together. He desperately tried to defend his teammates, unable to launch effective counter attacks against the coordinated assaults.
From another angle, Nexthar continued his long-range assault with the copied sniper rifle. Goldrich had to split his attention, constantly working to shield Starfall and Charlyn, ensuring they weren't taken down in the escalating chaos.
Starfall unleashed attacks from his position, but it was evident the opposing players were hitting much harder. The pressure from every direction was overwhelming, leaving Team Destroyer completely cornered and fighting tooth and nail just to survive.
"I don't see how Team Destroyer can make it out of this situation, Paul. Honestly, I've got to give them respect for the effort they've put in. It's clear they've lasted much longer than anyone expected," Brando remarked.
"Yes, but it's pretty clear now-this is the end for Team Destroyer," Paul responded with a faint smirk. "It's quite ironic, isn't it? Team Destroyer... getting destroyed by their enemies."
The audience was captivated as Kingsley continued to endure the relentless barrage of attacks. Despite lacking a dedicated healing specialist on their team, Team Destroyer managed to hold out for an impressive amount of ti. However, the repeated sniper shots aid at Kingsley eventually broke through, and the tanker finally fell.
"Kingsley has been taken down! Now Team Destroyer has to survive without their cornerstone tanker. How will they manage? Or is this the end for them?" Brando exclaid, his voice brimming with excitent.
"Well," Paul responded calmly, "it's been a performance worthy of praise. But it's clear their opponents ca fully prepared to counter them effectively this ti."
"Does that also an Team Destroyer wasn't prepared for their enemies?" Brando asked. "They had to have known they wouldn't be able to survive against three Divine Champions who could actually challenge them, right?"
"Well, even if they knew," Paul replied, "their defeat was inevitable from the start. They were outmatched strategically, outclassed in role players, and outnumbered. No matter how strong they are, when faced with opponents with double their numbers, they simply stood no chance."
"I think we can all agree with you on that, Paul," Brando said, nodding in agreent as the tension in the arena continued to build.
And just as everyone expected, another mber of Team Destroyer fell-Goldrich was eliminated next!
The crowd gasped in surprise, watching as Goldrich, known for his incredible versatility, had managed to hold out and even take down several opponents before finally succumbing. Now, only two mbers of Team Destroyer remained.
"Charlyn and Starfall are now being overwheld by multiple players attacking from all directions. I think it's only a matter of ti before they, too, are taken down," Brando comnted.
Paul chid in, "Yes, and let's not forget, Brando, that three opposing teams have already completed their puzzles and are now engaged in fighting the Raid Boss."
The cara shifted to show the Raid Boss under siege, surrounded by nine players coordinating their attacks. Its massive form staggered under the relentless assault.
"With this, it won't be long before the Raid Boss is defeated, and the winners erge," Paul continued.
"Yes, Paul, I can see that they're holding their ground well and delivering steady damage to the Raid Boss. I think the final outco of this match is already crystal clear," Brando agreed.
The cara zood in on Charlyn and Starfall, who now stood back-to-back, their bodies tense as they tried to position themselves amidst a circle of opponents closing in from all directions. Their silence spoke volus-Charlyn's lack of counterattacks and their labored stances made it obvious that their mana and stamina had been completely drained.
Not far from them stood Venom, the imposing werewolf. He smirked as he called out, "Well, girls, it's over. Why don't you just leave the ga yourselves? Save yourselves the humiliation of being killed trying to defend sothing you can't possibly win."
Mooz, still in Kingsley's stolen Armored Hawk form, landed nearby. From another angle, Nexthar knelt, his sniper rifle trained on the two girls, ready to fire at any mont.
Venom took a step closer, his sharp teeth glinting in the light as he taunted them. "Charlyn, Starfall... tell , where's the leader of your team in a mont like this? Did you really think you could win with just five players? Now, you can see for yourselves what happens when you underestimate your opponents."
From outside the arena, the crowd erupted with mixed reactions. So were jeering, others shouting boos in disapproval. It was clear that many of these voices ca from Starfall's devoted fans, who had co to support her in this intense match.
"Damn it, this is so pathetic! I didn't co here to watch Starfall get treated like this!" one of the fans shouted angrily.
"Yes, and I loved Charlyn's performance too! This is just awful for them," another added. "Just end it already! Damn it, they're ganging up on two girls who are already cornered!" The boos from the crowd grew louder, echoing across the arena. The sight of Charlyn and Starfall, both struggling and seemingly being toyed with instead of outright defeated, only fueled the frustration of the audience.
"Why delay killing us?" Starfall said. "Isn't this what you wanted? The glory of defeating a single team by ganging up on them?"
Venom smirked faintly. "All right, if that's what you want," he said, his tone cold as he began to approach Charlyn.
In a final burst of desperation, Charlyn lunged forward with her dagger, striking at Venom repeatedly. But each ti, he effortlessly countered her attacks, overpowering her.
With a swift motion, he knocked the weapon from her hand and threw her to the ground. She struggled, but it was clear she couldn't get back up again.
Starfall dropped to her knees beside Charlyn, her hands glowing faintly as she tried to heal her teammate. But the spell faltered, weak and ineffective-it was obvious Starfall herself
had run out of stamina after the relentless battles they'd endured.
The once-mighty Team Destroyer was on the brink of complete collapse.
Brando and Paul watched the match progress with bated breath, the tension in the air thick as
the match seed to be near its conclusion.
But suddenly, the stadium erupted into deafening cheers, the energy shifting as the cara focused on an unexpected scene.
"Paul, what's going on?!" Brando exclaid, leaning forward in surprise.
"Well," Paul said, "it looks like this battle isn't over just yet."
On the massive screen, the cara panned to soone stepping onto the stage. A young man
with blonde hair and a tall, well-built physique ca into view, shielding his eyes from the bright stadium lights. He broke into a sprint, heading straight for the row of capsule devices marked with Team Destroyer's logos.
"Paul, is that... Broken?! Yes, it's Broken!" Brando shouted, his voice almost drowned out by the thunderous roar of the crowd.
Cheers and applause echoed throughout the arena as fans erupted in excitent.
"This is incredible! Will Broken's arrival turn the tide of this match? Could this be the ga- changer Team Destroyer desperately needs?" Brando said.
The young man climbed into one of the capsule devices, and monts later, the profile for
Broken lit up in green on the screen. The audience watched in stunned anticipation as the cara switched back to the ga.
The virtual sky above the arena suddenly split apart with a blinding light, and from the heavens descended a massive, glowing spear, its arrival shaking the battlefield. "Broken has arrived!" Brando exclaid, his voice electrified with excitent. The match, which seed all but decided, had just taken an unpredictable and thrilling turn.
