Reviewing all the leveled-up skills? Clear.

Checking the loot from the Demons? Clear.

Securing the Sword of Dissidia? Done-though for now, it remained locked and unusable.

And with that, the major milestones had been ticked off.

But perhaps the most significant achievent was that Alora had now officially ascended as the Queen of Dissidia Kingdom.

The next big event? Sothing that would undoubtedly shake the entire continent.

The announcent of Queen Alora's marriage to a player.

While many had speculated about Alora's growing closeness to a certain player, few truly believed the rumors would beco reality. But soon, the official announcent would leave no room for doubt.

The wedding ceremony had been intentionally delayed until after Alora's coronation. It was a calculated move-to ensure that her position as ruler was secure, and to gather more support while managing potential opposition from certain factions within the kingdom.

The pieces were falling into place.

The capsule device hissed as it opened, releasing a soft puff of air. Leon stepped out slowly, his expression flat and unreadable, as though he hadn't quite returned from the world he'd just left behind.

The morning light filtered through the apartnt window, casting a pale glow over the quiet

room.

As he made his way to the kitchen, the familiar sound of movent greeted him. Lily was already there, dressed for the day and eating breakfast.

She looked up when she saw him. "Leon... you're going to campus today, right?"

"Yes," he answered simply as he slid into the chair across from her and took a sandwich from the plate on the table.

Lily tilted her head slightly. "Tomorrow's the weekend. How about we go out sowhere? Maybe a little trip or just... have so fun outside?"

Leon glanced at her, "That sounds good," he said softly.

"We could invite Freya too. It's been... three days since I last saw her."

Leon froze for a mont, the sandwich halfway to his mouth.

Three days.

It was true. Freya hadn't logged into the ga for the past three days. And more concerning than that he hadn't been able to reach her, either. She hadn't answered any of his ssages, both in-ga and outside.

"Yeah..." Leon murmured. "I haven't been able to contact her."

"Don't worry. I'll try to reach her today."

Leon nodded slowly.

After finishing her breakfast, Lily stood, slinging her bag over her shoulder. "I'll see you later. And don't forget-we're going out tomorrow. Don't you dare cancel!"

"Got it," Leon replied with a faint smile, watching her leave.

As the door clicked shut behind her, the apartnt grew silent again. Where is Freya?

A few minutes later, Leon drove his Northstar EV out of the hotel parking lot, heading toward campus. The smooth hum of the electric engine was the only sound accompanying him as the city streets blurred by.

When he arrived at the campus and parked the car, the mont he stepped out, he felt sothing... off.

Closing the car door behind him, Leon paused, his gaze subtly shifting around.

Why does it feel like more people are staring at ?

It wasn't just his imagination. As he walked toward the main building, more eyes than usual seed to track his every move. So students glanced at him, whispering to their friends, while others gave him brief, curious looks before quickly turning away.

Leon sighed softly, keeping his expression neutral.

This had been happening more often ever since the battle in Dissidia Kingdom. His na had started to gain more recognition, even outside the ga. He hadn't bothered to check online to see how far it had spread, but the reality was starting to catch up with him.

And now, with Alora officially crowned as the Queen of Dissidia, it seed the attention on him had only increased.

As he walked across campus, several people passing by gave him small waves or said a quick "hi."

Leon nodded politely, responding with a simple, "Hi."

He wasn't the type to enjoy being in the spotlight, but it was becoming harder to avoid. Before he could reach his destination, soone caught up to him from the right. He glanced over and saw a familiar face-a young woman with wavy blonde hair.

"Hi, Leon. Good morning." It was Laura.

"Hi, Laura..." Leon greeted her with a smile.

She walked alongside him, matching his pace. "You've been absent from campus for a few days," she pointed out. "I was thinking of dropping by to check on you."

Leon chuckled softly. "We just saw each other in-ga, didn't we?"

Laura gave him a playful look. "True. But you do realize you've been hard to reach lately, right? Even in-ga."

"Really?" Leon raised a brow.

Over the past few days, he had been completely absorbed in various tasks within the ga. Between working on the Tower in the Moonlight Dinsion, handling guild commissions, and gathering materials for a new golem, he'd barely had ti for anything else.

The campus day passed without much notice. For Leon, it felt like a routine-sothing he went through rely to fulfill a responsibility. The lectures, the conversations, the familiar faces... none of it sparked any real interest.

What's happening to ?

That thought lingered in his mind as he trudged through the day. Even during his usual high- intensity run, sothing felt off. His body moved, his muscles burned, and sweat poured down his face, but there was no rush of adrenaline, no sense of accomplishnt.

Just exhaustion.

He wasn't thinking of quitting-that wasn't his style. But sothing inside him felt...

missing. A strange emptiness he couldn't quite define.

Later that afternoon, he drove to Lily's school to pick her up.

When he spotted Lily walking toward the car, sothing felt off. She wasn't with Hazel, her usual companion. But more than that-it was her expression. Lily was walking faster than

usual, her face tense.

Leon stepped out of the car, eting her halfway.

"Why do you look so panicked, Lily?"

"Freya..."

"Freya? What about her?"

"Yes... she's been sick for the past few days."

"What? What happened to her? Which hospital?"

Lily shook her head, tugging at his sleeve. "Get in the car. I'll explain everything on the way."

The Northstar EV sped out of the school area.

"So, what's the deal with Freya? Is she being treated at the hospital?"

Lily shook her head. "No..."

Leon frowned, glancing at her. "What do you an no?"

"She's being treated at ho."

"At ho? Why not at the hospital? What's wrong with her?"

"It sounds like her body just gave out. She's completely drained and needs bed rest."

Leon fell silent for a mont, processing the information. "I don't know where she lives. She

never told ."

He shot a quick glance at Lily. "Where did you get this information?"

"From Alfred," Lily replied, her voice soft. Then she hesitated. "And..."

"And what?"

"How about we visit Freya?"

Leon sighed. "I'd like that, but... we don't even know where she lives."

Lily gave a small smile. "I do. I know where she lives."

"Really?"

"Yes."

Without waiting for his response, Lily tapped the dashboard screen in front of her, entering

their destination. The map loaded quickly, showing a route leading out of the city.

Leon's brows furrowed as he saw where the destination pointed.

"She lives there?"

Lily nodded.

"Yes."

The location was in a remote area, near a hilltop outside the city. It wasn't the kind of place

most people would choose to live.

It reminded him of the kind of place soone like Goldrich would pick to stay away from the

world.

"Why would she live there?" Leon muttered to himself.
