This wasn't just any upgrade-it was a serious power spike. But with a skill this powerful, it made sense there would be limits. Activating Grim Reaper required moonlight, a condition that kept its imnse potential in balance.
And beyond the incredible speed and agility, this skill granted him an entirely new form-the Grim Reaper itself. His appearance would transform.
But wait, would he lose control if he transford into Eternal Fla? What if, by activating this power, he accidentally turned on his own allies?
There was no way... right? After all, this was a skill he could control. Unlike the Fae, who were forced into Eternal Fla under the curse, this transformation was his to command.
The Grim Reaper form would also grant him access to a Legendary-grade weapon, The Soul Drainer, which he could only wield in this state. A weapon of this caliber, crafted specifically for the Grim Reaper form, was bound to be extraordinary.
This was definitely no ordinary skill; it was a ga-changer.
But... a scythe?
It wasn't exactly what Broken was used to. He'd trained with a wide range of weapons, but a scythe was sothing entirely new.
Could he wield this Legendary-grade weapon effectively right after activating the skill?
Now that The Soul Drainer was available in his Eternal Fla form, it made sense to master it —especially since it was crafted specifically for this transformation's power.
Sure, he could still rely on his current weapons if needed, but he knew the scythe would be unmatched in this form. It was ti to see what this weapon could truly do.
Let's see what this weapon offered for him. But, How does he access the description of the weapon?
Suddenly, Elaine's body went rigid, as though seized by an unbearable pain. Her face twisted, and a piercing scream tore from her throat, her teeth clenched tight as sothing dark surged from within her.
"Elaine?" Broken called.
"Arghhh... Arghhh..." she scread, her voice rising to a shrill, agonized pitch.
Slowly, shadow energy began to swirl around her, creeping over her body. Then, horrifyingly, dozens of tiny spiders crawled out of her mouth, spilling down her chin and onto the ground.
What...?!
The swarm of spiders wove around her, their dark forms rging with the shadow energy to create sothing larger, sothing monstrous. Her body began to twist and reshape as the shadowy mass expanded, coiling into massive limbs that sprouted grotesquely from her back. Broken's instincts kicked in imdiately. He gripped his spear, bracing himself to face whatever monstrous transformation was erging from her Eternal Fla form.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Alora still locked in fierce battle with the three Eternal Fla beasts from earlier.
She called out, "Broken! You did it, right?"
He gave her a quick nod, but his focus was glued to Elaine.
With a violent surge, Elaine extended her arms, shattering the chains that had bound her. She collapsed to the ground, curling up, her screams piercing the air as her transformation
continued.
"Is it ti to end her?" He muttered to himself. "The quest said to kill her in her Eternal Fla form... so I'll wait. It's nearly ti."
Broken squinted, trying to make out Elaine's face, but her features were twisted in pure
agony.
Then, with a sudden, horrific ripping sound, the back of her clothes tore open. A sharp, black appendage, almost like a blade, jutted out from her back. It twitched and flexed, cutting through the air like a sword.
One by one, more spider-like legs erged, long, spindly, and dark as night, each jointed like
a spider's limb.
Five pairs of these grotesque limbs extended from her back, shrouding her form in a swirling aura of dark energy. When she finally lifted her head, her eyes blazed with a crimson light, intense and unnatural.
At that instant, the three faebeasts that had been fighting Alora froze. Their gazes shifted to Elaine. They bowed their heads submissively and scrambled away, retreating into the shadows as if they were fleeing from death itself.
Broken wasted no ti, he sprang out of the iron cage, landing beside Alora, who had already
rushed over to join him.
Together, they watched as Elaine straightened, her form now towering and fierce. Her five
spider-like limbs slamd into the ground, splintering the earth beneath her. With a single, powerful stomp, she shattered what remained of the iron cage, sending shards of tal
flying.
Elaine began advancing toward them, her movents slow and deliberate. Her crimson eyes burned with rage, fixed on Broken and Alora, as if nothing else in the world existed but her
two opponents.
