"So, since you successfully upgraded your weapon to 18, I believe I owe you a reward," Fokil said the mont Broken stepped into the Smithy, not giving him a chance to say a word. "That's why you ca here this morning, isn't it?"

"Yes, sir, I ca to hear about that important information."

This would be huge-if he could upgrade his Legendary Weapon beyond 18! He imagined the power boost, especially if he could apply it to the Golden Bow of Artemis. With its damage amplified, it would beco a devastating weapon in large-scale battles. Combining it with the Bedrock Breaker Pickaxe would give him even more powerful area damage.

Fokil continued. "Since you have a talent for mining, I'll tell you this: to upgrade any equipnt past 18, you'll need rare materials that are not easily obtained. The main material is Mithril."

"Mithril?"

Mithril-it sounded like sothing straight out of a fantasy novel. Broken had heard of it before in other gas and stories but hadn't encountered it in Immortal Legacy.

"Could you tell more about it, sir?"

"Mithril is a rare and precious alloy," Fokil explained. "It's lighter than steel but far more durable than iron."

"How do I get the materials, sir? Where can I mine it?"

"That's the quest, kid. You'll have to figure out how to obtain it yourself. Then, I'll teach you how to upgrade equipnt beyond 18. Now go, don't waste my ti," Fokil concluded.

[You have been given a new mission from Master Blacksmith Fokil.]

[Hunt Rare and Valuable Resources]

[Rating: A]

[Fokil has entrusted Broken with a quest of great importance: to locate the source of Mithril Ore and mine it! Known for its magical properties, Mithril is a highly sought-after material for enhancing equipnt beyond its current limits. ]

[Clear Conditions: Find and mine Mithril ores.]

[Clear Rewards: The secret to enchanting equipnt to an even higher level.]

[Quest Failure: There is no penalty for failure, but don't take too long-Fokil might grow impatient and cancel the quest.]

Broken massaged his temples, feeling the weight of yet another quest added to his list before he'd even finished the others. He sighed, knowing that he loved the thrill of adventure and challenge. But would he ever have a mont to catch his breath?

Maybe it was ti to consider sothing like Elincia's approach-she managed to travel abroad and visit new places while still spending ti in-ga. Perhaps he could use the Ho Bus Northstar more strategically to blend real life with his gaming activity.

Mithril. Hopefully, information about this rare material wouldn't be as elusive as finding Moonstone had been. At least now he knew enough influential players who might be able to share so valuable intel, making this quest a little easier.

"The reward and quest failure are exactly the sa as the last one." He glanced back at Fokil. "But, sir, I'd like to learn more about-"

Fokil cut him off abruptly. "Yes! Fetch the Mithril, and co back here." With that, he gave Broken a firm push out the door, shutting it decisively behind him.

Broken sighed. "It's not that I'm not interested in tracking down these resources. I just don't think I'll have the ti for it anyti soon. Maybe I need to put it on hold for a bit?"

He took a deep breath, trying to organize his priorities. "I need to finish things one at a ti. There's way too much on my plate!"

Thinking it through, he considered his options. "The full moon is still a few days off, so I've got ti to work on upgrades. I could craft new equipnt, or even focus on leveling Polly and Gaia. Or maybe start scouting for clues on where to find Mithril."

He then rembered the royal envoy would soon be arriving in Deadbay.

"While I wait, I can casually enchant the rest of my equipnt and focus on armor that's still below max level. Who knows, maybe I'll land another 18."

Broken needed a substantial amount of Enchanting Stones and Blessed Stones, but ti was running short if he tried to forge them himself. So, he opted to buy them directly from rchants.

Money wasn't an issue-he had more than enough-but he rarely spent it, preferring to save as much as possible. Though he'd thought about buying a permanent ho in the real world, for now, he was just staying in a hotel room he could only keep for a year.

As he wandered into the city plaza, scanning for rchants who might have the items he needed, people around him seed to take notice. So looked on with curiosity, others with wary glances. Finally, he arrived at a shop he'd visited before to pick up Blessed Stones right before his battle with the Forest Guardians.

"Robber! There's a robber!" soone inside the shop suddenly shouted, rushing out and pointing directly at him.

"What are you talking about?" Broken replied, taken aback. "I'm here to pay for the Blessed Stones I borrowed yesterday."

Almost instantly, a small crowd gathered around him, keeping their distance due to his known power.

"Aren't you the Defender of Deadbay City?" soone in the crowd asked.

But the shop owner shouted loudly, "He looted my shop, took Blessed Stones, and didn't pay, right during the monster attack!"

"I needed those Blessed Stones, and I ca here to pay," Broken said calmly. "If I were a robber, I wouldn't have co back at all."

"No, that's not what I call fair! You robbed my store! Now, pay ten tis the price!" the rchant demanded.

Broken sighed, realizing this rchant was trying to scam him. anwhile, the crowd was growing, drawn to the scene. He knew that city residents often took sides with one another, especially when it ca to holding players, especially high-ranking ones.

"He's played a huge role in defending Deadbay City. We ought to be grateful to him," a few of them murmured.

"Just because he did sothing big doesn't an he can push us little people around."

"Exactly. We work hard, so why should they use their power to oppress us?"

This was really getting on his nerves. Did Broken seriously need to brush up on communication skills, maybe throw in so effort to make himself look better in their eyes? Apparently, his Charisma stats alone weren't enough to win over these NPCs.

Broken clicked his tongue, frustrated by the crowd's misjudgnt. But then again, he wasn't

one to bother explaining himself.

Out of nowhere, a girl's voice rang out from a distance. "He's not a robber-he's a hero! I'll stake my reputation on it."

The people froze, startled, and turned to see where the voice had co from.

They quickly parted, making way for a young woman who looked around nineteen. She wore a fitted suit of light armor in deep blue, with her knees exposed at the front and brown hair flowing down behind her.

It was Oriana, the daughter of Viscount Sean, Lord of Deadbay City.

The young woman stopped in front of Broken and smiled at him.

"I hear you've been in Deadbay for a while now. It's an honor to finally greet our prestigious Hero of Deadbay in person," she said gracefully.
