A raucous blare of horns echoed through the streets of Deadbay City, sending waves of panic across the crowd. People frantically scrambled, searching for shelter as the ground trembled beneath their feet, hinting at the approach of hundreds of monsters from the distance.

Everyone seed to be in a state of chaos.

"There's a huge attack, a massive disaster coming!"

"We're all going to die, run! Find shelter!"

"No, we can't run. There's nowhere to escape!"

"What the hell is going on here?" so players shouted, bewildered.

"It's an ergency event, a big one. We'll get huge rewards!"

"Well then, call everyone-tell them to get online. I know we're going to need all the help we can get."

"But the monsters... their levels look really high. I'm worried we won't be able to handle them," another player said.

lliandra and Kingsley stood on the fortress, their eyes fixed on the approaching horde of creatures. So were human-sized, while others towered five to ten tis larger.

"Damn, what is that? Is this an ergency event?" lliandra said.

"I think we need to stop those monsters from reaching the city, l."

"No matter how much I want to gain experience from killing them, I don't think we can take them all out. This is insane," lliandra continued. "I'm not built for area attacks; we need Elincia here, damn it. This is so stupid, the ga developer has completely lost their minds. Are they seriously trying to destroy the city with this many monsters?"

"If those monsters break through the fortress, the entire city could be wiped out."

"And I'm sure that will be the outco of this stupid event!"

"I'm going to the front lines, and you handle them from a distance, l, like we usually do. We'll hold out until the others arrive."

"This is insane! Your damage isn't enough to handle that many monsters, Kingsley! We need Elincia!" lliandra snapped.

"But Elincia is still under a ti penalty. That's why we have to hold them off for as long as we can," Kingsley insisted.

"Stupid, this is so annoying. Why the hell do I have to be stuck in this city right now? This is all that idiot Broken's fault! Ugh, damn it!" lliandra growled.

The Knights and troops of Deadbay City quickly moved to their designated posts. Long-range fighters positioned themselves atop the fortress, while the close-range fighters lined up in formation outside, ready to et the oncoming threat head-on.

"Those knights and troops won't last long," lliandra muttered.

anwhile, waves of players stread out from the city gates, eager to join the Ergency Event. Their shouts fill the air.

"Let's go! We're gonna get so much experience!!!" they yelled.

"Let's slay as many monsters as we can. I love this kind of event!" They cheered.

"Those poor, clueless players are going to get themselves killed so fast," lliandra remarked coldly. "Don't they realize how powerful those monsters are? Their levels are pathetic-disgustingly low. Honestly, I'd be doing them a favor by killing those brainless idiots myself before they get torn apart by the monsters."

Max and Tora were in Deadbay City when the incident unfolded, and they quickly broadcasted it live on their YouTube channel. The broadcast was picked up by global television networks, spreading the news far and wide.

"Well, everyone, we're here for you, bringing live coverage of this super, super, super unexpected ergency event happening right now in Deadbay City of the Dissidia Kingdom," Tora began.

"It looks like there are hundreds of monsters heading this way, and their average level is extrely high," Max added, her tone serious.

The two of them were stationed at a fortress a safe distance away, providing a clear view of Deadbay's troops preparing for the oncoming attack.

"This is unbelievable!" Tora exclaid. "This is one of the biggest events to ever happen in Immortal Legacy, and we're capturing it all on cara. It's a rare mont, folks!"

"I urge anyone near Deadbay to log into the ga right now and help defend the city!" Max called out.

"The CEO of Golden Age Company has declared an ergency, and I'm sure there will be great rewards if you manage to stop this massive attack," Tora added, leaning closer to the cara

with a grin.

The internet quickly buzzed with a flurry of comnts as news of the major event spread like wildfire.

"Wow, I wish I could be there!"

"I'd love to participate, but why does it have to be held in the Dissidia Kingdom?"

"The ga developer is really giving Dissidia special treatnt. Why are all the cool events happening there?"

"Well... I'm close to Deadbay, so I'm gonna log in and join the event. See ya!"

"I'm sure Deadbay won't be the sa after this. The number of monsters is just too massive."

"Deadbay is a small town full of newbies. Is it really fair to subject them to such a huge monster attack?"

"This ga is getting too chaotic. I grew up in Deadbay. I don't want to see it get destroyed." "The ga developer doesn't seem to have a handle on this ga anymore. It's turning into a big ss."

"Yup, this attack should've been aid at the capital. The battle would have been way more exciting there, with all the powerful guilds around."

"Why must we lift the Ti Penalty Rule?" soone shouted during the Ergency eting of Golden Age Company, held online.

The faces of the participants appeared on screens in the large conference room, with Marco seated alone, visibly tense.

"The reasons you've provided are not adequate justifications for this decision, Marco!"

"This is the result of a series of events that have brought us to this critical point," Marco said

gravely.

He continued. "There are nurous major quest triggers stored in Deadbay City, and if we don't act quickly, the city will be destroyed. Losing Deadbay would an missing out on significant monts and crucial information tied to the ga's past. I believe we're facing an

urgent crisis."

"If the city was so important, why didn't you station more experienced players there?" soone interjected.

"I don't think now is the ti to debate what should or shouldn't have been done," another

voice cut in.

"But we can't just lift the rule. Many parties will feel disadvantaged if we do," one person

remarked.

"We only need to lift it for today, during this special event," others chid in.

"I've been against this rule from the start. We should at least reduce the Penalty Ti. Eight

hours is just too long."

"This decision will impact many aspects of the ga; we need to weigh all potential outcos and consult with stakeholders," added another.

"Will temporarily lifting the Penalty Ti be enough to save Deadbay?"

Marco responded, "Currently, the chance of the city's survival is only three percent. But if we

allow players to log in, even those under penalty, that chance could rise to ten percent."

"Damn, even ten percent is still too low! Did the AI not make a more thorough prediction? How did it co to this?"

"We're running out of ti. We have to co to a decision now, and we need to do it by voting," soone replied, pushing for urgency.

"So everyone cast your vote."

"Yes!"

"No!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

The voices echoed through the screens as the stakeholders cast their votes.
