It was a Saturday morning, and Leon had plans to go on a trip using the new ho bus he had received from Northstar. He stepped out of his room feeling quite refreshed after a good
night's sleep, thanks to his excitent over a remarkable new acquisition in his ga-a
magnificent golem he could control like a giant robot. The euphoria from this recent addition hadn't worn off yet.
He headed towards the kitchen where Lily was having breakfast. She waved him over.
"Leon, there's sothing interesting," she said.
Leon quickly joined her at the dining table.
"Look," she showed him her phone. "People are buzzing about a new statue in Slumdon Town. They're posting pictures, and it's making a lot of folks want to see it in person."
Leon glanced at the posts, seeing people posing with the golem statue he had placed near the city gate. He read through the online comnts, amused by their reactions.
"Damn, the statue is so cool! Can it move?"
"Since when did Slumdon Town have a statue like this?"
"Maybe they've got a legendary sculptor there? That statue is aweso."
"Could it be a golem that cos to life to fend off troublemakers? Hahaha!"
"But why is the Baron prioritizing statues over housing?"
Leon chuckled at the comnts.
"The statue looks amazing," Lily remarked, giggling. "Who made it? Why is sothing like that suddenly in Slumdon?"
"It's a golem," Leon responded casually.
Lily dropped her spoon in surprise. "What? A golem? You an it can move and attack people?"
"Yes. It's a golem with over level 200 and it's Legendary-grade," he continued.
"What? Where did you get such a high-level, high-grade golem? You just got sothing cool and then you get sothing extraordinary again?" she said, chuckling.
"That was a reward I received during a dungeon expedition with Elincia and the others."
"And they just gave you the golem? What did they get out of it?"
"No, it's not like that. The golem has a high grade because of my skills, and I spent a lot-a real lot of resources on it," he said, letting out a heavy sigh.
"From your response, it sounds like you spent a ton of money?"
"A lot, but luckily I got everything from the ga, so I don't feel too bad about it."
"You got a Legendary-grade as a result. I'd say that's more than worth it," Lily noted. Leon simply nodded in agreent.
They planned to spend the night camping with their new ho bus, enjoying a weekend getaway. However, since Freya couldn't join them, it ended up being just Leon, Lily, and Alfred.
After finishing breakfast, they quickly changed clothes. Leon stepped out of his room to find Lily already ready with a suitcase by her side.
"We need a suitcase?" he asked quietly.
"Who knows what we might need, right? I bought so essentials and put them in the ho bus. This is just a bit of extra clothes for you and ," she said.
"Thanks. Let's go."
They headed to the hotel parking lot and entered the magnificent ho bus. Alfred was already waiting and soon drove the ho bus out of the hotel area.
Leon chose to sit in the front next to Alfred, while Lily took a seat behind him, enjoying the morning scenery of the city. They could clearly see the amazed looks from onlookers, captivated by the luxurious and grand ho bus.
"You're smiling," Lily observed.
Leon didn't respond, simply continuing to enjoy the mont.
"Do you feel proud that people are noticing you?" Lily asked.
Leon chuckled lightly. "They're admiring the ho bus, not the people inside it."
"But it's yours. You own it completely," she insisted.
Leon nodded slowly, still in awe of everything he now possessed. It all had happened so quickly. It was hard to believe that it had only been two months since everything began. Yes, just two months in the real world. In those two months, six months had passed in the ga. It was a significant amount of ti when experienced within the ga, even though it felt brief in the real world.
This was a unique experience only available to those who played Immortal Legacy. Did that an a person would mature faster ntally if they continued playing this ga? Maturity is supposed to develop with ti, isn't it?
A 15-year-old who played Immortal Legacy for two years would have essentially an extra four years of life experience within the ga.
The journey didn't take long-about two hours-but it was an incredibly comfortable trip thanks to the exceptional ho bus. Sitting inside, they didn't feel a single bump; the ride was so smooth that anyone within the bus would naturally feel inclined to rest or even doze
off.
Their destination was a simple camping ground surrounded by small streams. They had reserved the largest spot, perfect for their needs. Despite it being early November, and snow beginning to gently fall, nothing could dampen their spirits or their excitent for the short getaway.
Upon arrival, Leon and Lily stepped off the ho bus, imdiately taking in the serene surroundings. The crisp air, the soft murmur of the streams, and the blanket of snow starting to cover the ground made for an enchanting scene. They wandered around, exploring and admiring the natural beauty.
Every now and then, Lily would sidle up to Leon and take his hand.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"Just being a little sister," she replied with a giggle.
Their exploration eventually led them to a quaint café on the camping ground. They settled into comfortable chairs, enjoying warm beverages and the peaceful atmosphere. Much of their ti was spent in companionable silence, each lost in their thoughts but sharing a mutual appreciation for the tranquility surrounding them.
Lily took a deep breath of the fresh air and exhaled slowly. Then, she smiled and grinned. "This is really nice. Next ti, we should invite Freya, or maybe Hazel too."
Leon nodded slightly. "We can plan another vacation next ti."
"You should invite your friends too. Do you have any friends?"
Leon paused when he heard the word "friends."
"Freya is my friend," he said after a mont.
Lily giggled at his response. "Freya is a friend, but she's also your colleague, right? I'm talking about friends from campus. Do you have any there?"
Leon was silent for a mont, realizing that he didn't really have anyone he could call a close friend. He knew so people from various activities and around the campus, but no one he
was especially close to.
"Laura?" he said quietly after so thought.
"Yes, she's your friend, right?" Lily replied, still giggling. "She's your ex, but you said you
would stay friends, didn't you?"
"Yes," Leon confird.
"We should invite her to our place, or maybe just hang out together. I'm sure Laura could use
so friends since she just moved back to the city, right?"
Leon shook his head slightly. "Laura is originally from this city, and she's quite popular—I'm
sure she has plenty of friends."
"But still, invite her. I'm sure she'd appreciate it," Lily insisted.
Leon pondered her words for a mont, then nodded.
