The recruitnt of workers in Slumdon Town had been completed. Those chosen had talents that spanned from farming, building, mining, blacksmithing, tailoring, and many others. For the initial phase, Broken focused heavily on hiring more builders than other types of workers.

anwhile, the nas of those who hadn't been recruited yet, due to the recruitnt capacity, were set aside for future consideration.

The entire process was long, taking up the entire day and draining everyone's energy. After finishing the recruitnt, Broken imdiately turned his attention to the first steps of construction. He gathered a few people from the Ass Guild who could help in these early stages before final task assignnts were determined in the coming days. These were the individuals committed to offering their full support to Broken from the very beginning. Another eting was held. Freya, Elincia, Maylock, Goldrich, Livelywood, and Charlyn gathered in the sa room to discuss the early phases of developnt. Skywarden and Charlyn had already arrived in Slumdon Town, so Charlyn was ready to join the initial building efforts.

Goldrich chuckled as he leaned back in his chair. "You sure managed to recruit the best talents in this city, haven't you?"

Elincia smiled warmly. "Seems like a lot of people's doubts vanished once you promised them a generous salary."

Maylock shook her head in disbelief. "You were so confident promising those big salaries, even though you haven't officially secured the funding yet. For soone who always plans everything out, your confidence is enough to make my head spin, Broken."

Goldrich added. "He acted without waiting for our input. If we had taken too long to respond, he might have turned to another guild for the funds to build the town."

Broken replied. "Well, I'm confident you all will help support their wages, so I'm not too worried."

This remark drew a round of light laughter from the group.

Broken then continued, "Are there any updates from any of you?"

Elincia nodded. "Most of the mbers of the Ass Guild have accepted your proposal. Even though so, like Kingsley, can't contribute financially, he still wants to help in other ways."

Broken nodded slowly. "That's good news."

"We'll hold our final eting later on the specified day to finalize the list of those who've agreed and also to distribute the funds for building the city," Elincia continued. "As you've started the process of constructing this city, you'll need resources to aid in the various roles. That's why we're gathered here today.

"To support you, I've invited Livelywood and Charlyn to provide their expertise during the early stages of town-building. Both of them are highly skilled in this field."

Livelywood stood up with a cheerful expression. "Broken, I have a lot of experience in kingdom building gas and related fields. I'd like to apply for the position of Town Planner. Today, I'll present my plan for the initial phases of developnt."

Broken nodded. "I'm truly grateful for your assistance, Livelywood. It's impossible to build this city on my own."

Charlyn then said, "I'm volunteering to help Livelywood as a Builder Supervisor, or Master Builder, if you will."

Broken nodded again. "I'm grateful for both of your help. If everyone agrees with Livelywood and Charlyn taking on these roles, I'll assign them to these positions."

So positions had finally been filled, though for now, a few roles were being handled by the sa people. These arrangents would be reconsidered and adjusted as more individuals expressed interest in contributing.

In this early phase, not all roles would operate at full capacity, so ongoing discussions and additional considerations were necessary.

As per a special request from Freya, Broken appointed her as Deputy Mayor. She would act as his direct representative and could make imdiate decisions on behalf of the Mayor.

For the Council, there was no better choice than the three most influential mbers of the Ass Guild: Elincia, Maylock, and Goldrich. Their influence and competence were crucial for providing continuous input on the city's developnt.

Broken revealed the initial lineup of roles to the team.

Freya stood up to share her thoughts. "I'm really happy that Broken has given this position, but I still want to hear from all of you. Does anyone have any objections to taking on this role?"

The room was silent, except for Maylock, who lightly quipped, "For soone who knows the most secrets about the Mayor, there's no one more suitable than you, Freya."

Elincia couldn't help but stifle a laugh at Maylock's comnt.

Freya sighed and looked at Maylock. "You really don't know how to filter your words, do

you?"

After the room settled down, Freya continued, "This role, Deputy Mayor, might look like the coolest one, but it's definitely the most tedious. I'll need to back up and handle all of your duties whenever you're out hunting monsters and leveling up. Since I'm not grinding as hard as you all, I'm willing to take one for the team."

Elincia replied with a chuckle, "You do realize we won't always be around to help with this duty, don't you, Freya?"

After discussing everyone's responsibilities, it was ti for Livelywood to present what he

had prepared.

Livelywood began, "I'll prioritize the most important projects first. The first thing we need to rebuild is the Town Hall. It was the administrative center of the town where decisions were made, policies set, and important information disseminated."

Elincia chid in, "But, we have a Town Hall already, right?"

"Yes," Livelywood replied, "we just need to do so renovations to restore its function."

Elincia then turned to Broken. "Do you have any comnts, Broken?"

Broken shook his head. "No, please proceed. Keep going, Livelywood." Livelywood nodded and continued. "The next priority is Residential Housing. I know Broken aims to build or restore two hundred residential units and has promised the workers a place to stay. So, we should start working on this and the Town Hall simultaneously."

He added, "Constructing 200 new residential units will be a lengthy process, so Charlyn and I conducted a survey and concluded that renovating abandoned houses in certain areas of the city would be more cost- and ti-effective."

"That's a great idea," Broken said. "There are many abandoned houses in this town that no longer have owners. Either they left, or there's no one left from their lineage to continue

living there. It's quite sad, though."

Livelywood paused for a mont before continuing. "Next, we need a Gathering Hut-a basic structure for resource gathering activities like collecting wood, stone, and other essential materials. We also need to repair the city wall to ensure our town is safer and provides better living conditions for everyone."

He paused again, considering his next words. "I think these are the four main types of buildings we should focus on at the start."

Livelywood then detailed his plans, and after so modifications and discussions, they

eventually reached a consensus on the final plan.

"Excellent, this looks like a solid plan," Broken comnted. "We'll make adjustnts if any

issues arise."

"Agree," Livelywood replied, smiling.

Goldrich chuckled. "I believe it's my turn next. You won't regret pointing as the Economic Advisor. As my na suggests-I'm Gold and Rich!"

He continued. "As Economic Advisor, I've ensured we've secured the materials necessary to kick off the construction. After that, we can quickly assign workers to their respective tasks- mining, farming, hunting, and so on."

Goldrich emphasized a point that had also been on Broken's mind: sourcing the materials needed for the initial construction phase from outside the town. By purchasing from the nearest cities or suppliers, they could start the building process more quickly.

Broken nodded approvingly. "That's a great approach, Goldrich. We need to get our hands on those materials sooner rather than later."

Goldrich grinned. "Exactly. The faster we start, the faster we can make real progress."

Once all the plans had been discussed, Broken quickly stood, signaling the end of the eting.

"Alright," he said, "I believe we have reached a solid agreent on many topics." With that, everyone got up and began to leave the room, ready to put their discussed plans

into action.
