Broken stood, a blend of wonder and anxiety swelling within him as he looked at the extraordinary being his own abilities had accidentally brought into existence. Standing before him was none other than Queen Gaia, a Nature Goddess of Mythic grade. Her presence
radiated power and purpose, both awe-inspiring and terrifying.
He couldn't help but feel a knot of dread at the thought of the catastrophic events she might unleash upon Yunatea. His mind raced, desperately trying to conjure a plan to avert the impending disaster that seed inevitable with her arrival.
He swallowed hard, the gravity of the situation weighing heavily on him. The realization that the fate of Yunatea might now rest solely in his hands was almost too much to bear. Was it really up to him to prevent this looming catastrophe? If he could sohow thwart her mission, could he save Yunatea from utter destruction? But how could he, a re individual, possibly stand against such a formidable force?
Gaia's voice cut through his thoughts, calm yet commanding. "Indeed. You have been gifted with the honor of being the catalyst to spark my creation, so tell , do you have any last words before I begin my mission?"
"I have a question for you. Do you know of a force that is more powerful than anything you know? I an, surely there are so pieces of information that have been planted in your mind, right?"
"No," she replied, "What is it?"
" and my kind. The people of Yunatea call us the Players."
Her eyebrows arched in curiosity, and she leaned closer. "So, what is so special about your kind?"
"Your mission will be pointless because we can't be permanently killed. We'll co back to life a few days after death, and we can progress and level up faster than the native inhabitants of Yunatea."
Gaia's eyes narrowed, her expression turning steely. "Then I'll keep killing you until you tire of coming back to life. Everything will end at my hands."
Broken shrugged, maintaining a casual deanor despite the looming threat. "Seems like all that will be left is your futile mission and us, because you'll never succeed in destroying us," he said, as if the prospect of dying repeatedly was just a minor inconvenience.
As they stood facing each other, the tension in the air was almost palpable. Both of them were determined not to back down, and their strong beliefs seed to weigh heavily in the space between them. The anticipation was thick, and it felt like any mont could bring a breakthrough or a breakdown.
"Nature will persist and have the strength to nd its original state," Gaia declared.
Broken gave her a slow nod, acknowledging her point. "What about the deities? Aren't they living creatures too? Will they descend into our world and do sothing, like rebuild everything or sothing like that?"
Gaia's erald eyes flashed with fierce determination as she responded, "I'll kill them too."
"Are you confident in your power to complete this task? I an, kill the deities?" Broken asked.
Gaia was silent for a few monts, her deep erald eyes reflecting the stars in the night sky. After a pause, she shook her head slowly. "I'm not sure if I can do it or not," she admitted, "but I won't give up until I try."
Broken lifted his head, eting her gaze with intensity. "Do you have to obey whoever orders you, like blindly, without considering anything else?"
Gaia hesitated briefly before answering, "I was born this way, to protect nature and its secrets."
Broken nodded slowly, taking a couple of steps closer to her. He spoke softly, his voice a gentle murmur, "And here I am, offering you sothing to consider before carrying out all your missions. Because once you start on this path, there is no turning back, right?"
"Offer?" she asked.
Broken slowly raised his arm while Gaia watched him intently. He gently stroked her head, his touch surprisingly tender. "You have beautiful hair," he said, his voice soft and sincere.
"How dare you!" she spat, her voice a mix of anger and confusion.
[Queen Gaia felt an odd closeness as the catalyst of her creation patted her. She was furious, yet for so reason, she allowed it to continue. Her affinity with you increased to 45%. She would be more open to you and accept things that might still be within the realm of her understanding.]
Broken spoke with absolute certainty. "It's not fair to bla all living creatures for the destruction of the world. Respecting their lives is just as important as respecting your own kind. Because failing to do so could make you the true enemies of nature."
Gaia stared at him intently, her eyes narrowing as if trying to peer into his very soul to uncover his secrets.
"Don't speak nonsense before ! Do you think I can be deceived by your empty words?!"
"You need to understand more and observe with your own eyes, and judge it yourself," he continued. "Rather than just following the orders embedded in you since your birth."
Gaia's expression shifted, her gaze piercing as she suddenly asked, "Are you doing harm to nature as well?"
"I'm not sure," he admitted, his tone hesitant. "Whatever we do seems to return to its original form in the end. I think that must be a part of our uniqueness."
Broken elaborated on the impact of their abilities, explaining how their actions had a monuntal effect on the environnt but eventually allowed it to revert to its original state. This ant that their interventions, while significant, were not permanently destructive.
"We have the power to create incredible transformations in the environnt with our abilities, such as constructing magnificent structures," he explained. "In fact, I believe that our actions have also had a positive impact on nature."
"How can you claim to have a positive impact on nature when your actions only bring destruction?"
"There's a difference between destroying nature and using it for sothing better. Let show you."
Gaia reached out and gently placed her hand on his cheek, caressing it with tenderness. "You don't seem to be frightened even though I'm warning you of destruction. Can you tell more about everything?"
Her touch was surprisingly tender, and her tone carried a hint of genuine curiosity as if she was truly interested in understanding more about this world and its inhabitants. Broken t her gaze steadily. "There is a lot you need to know about this world, the one you've just been born into. I can share more information with you, but it's up to you if you want to delay your mission for a re hundred years. In the grand sche of things, it's a short ti, isn't it? So here's my offer: co with , and you'll get to witness the transformation of this world."
His eyes glinted with curiosity, wondering if it was possible to form a contract with this powerful spirit, even though he was limited to making contracts with Unique-grade spirits. The idea of forming a bond with Gaia sparked a faint hope in his mind, a glimr of possibility that he couldn't ignore.
