The testing room was an isolated chamber equipped with several testing devices.

"Please place your Battle Pet into the testing device," the staff instructed.

Upon hearing this, Ethen Cole summoned his pet, Blux, from the Battle Pet space.

"Rio!" Riolux chirped affectionately.

Ethen Cole gently patted Blux's head. Promptly, Blux followed Ethen Cole's instructions and jumped into the testing device.

"Testing begins."

The next second, a faint red light emanated from the testing device, enveloping Blux. Half a minute later, the test was complete.

The screen on the testing device displayed Blux's specific level.

"Black Iron Level 8, very impressive!" said Old Rashid, the overseer at the certification center. After making a simple record, he handed Ethen Cole an armband.

It was a black armband, printed with the number 8. At Morning Light Academy, students are required to wear armbands during formal occasions. The armband for a Black Iron Level Battle Pet Master is black, with the number indicating the specific level of the Battle Pet Master.

The number 8 on Ethen Cole's armband signified that he was a Black Iron Level 8 Battle Pet Master.

After Ethen Cole's test was completed, it was Diana Nor's turn. Following a month of effort during the sumr vacation, Diana Nor's Battle Pet, the Arctic Ice Eagle, also achieved a breakthrough, advancing to Black Iron Level 6. Consequently, Diana Nor received a black armband with the number 6 on it.

The two exchanged smiles and imdiately put on their armbands.

Ethen Cole and Diana Nor were both delighted. Completing the level certification marked the official start of their university life. Having erged as geniuses from the sa high school, they shared a close relationship and, over ti, had developed a certain level of mutual understanding.

Their mutual smile was quite natural. However, this tacit action, seen by the staff mber in charge of the certification test, Old Rashid, carried an additional aning. Old Rashid's full na was Rashid Ahmad. He was in his fifties and was also a battle pet master.

He had been working at the academy's level certification center for many years and had witnessed nurous young geniuses who achieved brilliance after entering university. He had also seen many talents who beca diocre because they got involved in romantic relationships after joining the academy, which distracted them from their studies.

Therefore, Rashid Ahmad was strongly opposed to students dating. In his eyes, both Ethen Cole and Diana Nor, who had reached such a high level of Battle Pet Mastery at the age of 18, had promising futures. However, their recent exchange of ambiguous smiles made Rashid Ahmad frown.

He decided to have a talk with Ethen Cole. Being a male student, Ethen Cole might find it easier to discuss certain topics.

"Ethen Cole, could you co to my office for a mont? I have sothing to discuss with you," Rashid Ahmad called out directly to Ethen Cole.

Ethen Cole, who was about to leave the certification center with Diana Nor, paused upon hearing this. Thinking there might be an issue with his certification process, he signaled to Diana Nor and followed Rashid Ahmad to his office.

Once inside, Rashid Ahmad closed the door and sat down in his chair. "Please, have a seat," he said, gesturing to the chair opposite his desk.

"Sure, I wonder what you wanted to talk to about," Ethen Cole said cautiously, pulling the chair closer and sitting down, looking curiously at Rashid Ahmad.

Hearing this, Rashid Ahmad sighed softly, took a sip of tea, and began to speak.

"Ethen Cole, do you have feelings for Diana Nor?" Rashid Ahmad's question was straightforward.

Ethen Cole didn't expect Rashid Ahmad to bring up such a topic so directly, and he blushed imdiately. He quickly explained, "Diana Nor and I graduated from the sa high school..."

Rashid Ahmad smiled gently and interrupted Ethen Cole. "No need to explain. Although I'm over fifty now, I was young once too. As soone who's been there, I understand the thoughts of young people like you..."

With the tone of soone who has experienced life, Rashid Ahmad began to offer advice to Ethen Cole.

Ethen Cole was taken aback by this unexpected misunderstanding. However, since Rashid Ahmad was a staff mber of the university and an elder, Ethen Cole chose not to argue much, even though he was misunderstood. He simply nodded, his face flushed, and listened to Rashid Ahmad's well intentioned advice.

"Honestly, you have great talent, even better than Diana Nor's. At this stage, your most crucial task is to focus on your studies and enhance your Battle Pet's abilities. You must not let anything distract you."

"I've seen many geniuses, but most of them have not reached the heights people expected due to various factors. To be blunt, I was also a genius battle pet master back in my day, graduating from the elite academy, 'Kots Academy'..."

Rashid Ahmad set down his teacup with a slight sigh.

"Huh?" Ethen Cole was a bit surprised. He had initially thought that Rashid Ahmad was just a kindly, elder school staff mber. But he didn't expect that Rashid Ahmad had also experienced a remarkable youth.

Seeing Ethen Cole's surprised expression, Rashid Ahmad decided to summon his own Battle Pet.

"Ah, let show you my Battle Pet. Once you see it, you'll understand why for an 18 year old, being involved in a romantic relationship isn't necessarily a good thing..."

With a wave of his hand, a white polar bear suddenly appeared in the office. This polar bear was enormous, with snow white fur that seed to move even without a breeze, exuding an aura of majesty. However, on its back was an ugly, nacing scar. The scar was about two feet long and highly noticeable.

"This..." Ethen Cole looked at Rashid Ahmad with great surprise.

With his extensive knowledge of battle pets, he imdiately recognized that Rashid Ahmad's battle pet was the powerful "Glacial Arctic Bear."
