Seeing this, Ethen didn't dare let Rainbow drink more and allowed it to fly around outside the cave in a drunken stupor.

After flying around chaotically for a full hour, Rainbow finally settled down. Seeing this, Ethen smiled knowingly and summoned Rainbow back into its battle pet space.

The third to be summoned was Golden Retriever.

Golden Retriever had experienced much in its past life, and its previous owner, Juliana, had also given it alcohol before.

Therefore, Golden Retriever not only had no aversion to alcohol but was quite eager. Now, with Ethen allowing it to drink freely, Golden Retriever was naturally delighted.

Gulp, gulp.

Golden Retriever fully exhibited its seasoned expertise, not only drinking but also expressing its reflections as it did so.

Of course, its reflections were expressed in the language of beasts. Naturally, Ethen, who was in sync with Golden Retriever, could understand. For a mont, he was moved by Golden Retriever's words.

"The best wine should be drunk under the moon, for the gentle moonlight and the fierce flavor of the wine complent each other to create a breathtaking beauty..."

"In my view, three parts of wine are about boldness, and the remaining seven parts are about gentleness..."

Golden Retriever's reflections led Ethen into deep thought. He might not have the talent for composing poetry or enjoying the moon, but that didn't prevent him from appreciating sentences rich in imagery and philosophy.

At this mont, Golden Retriever seed like a sage discussing life after drinking, wise and elegant. At this mont, under the moonlight, Ethen looked into Golden Retriever's eyes. He discovered that those eyes were very much like autumn rain.

If the newly born Rainbow represents the vibrant spring, and the tenacious Blux, who thrives unyieldingly, embodies the persistence of a sumr night, then Golden Retriever at this mont is much like the gentle, drizzling autumn rains of September.

Mild, moderate, and full of wisdom. Not overly active, nor too aggressive, but with a lingering aftertaste, leisurely and at ease, everything is just right. This is precisely the temperant bestowed upon Golden Retriever by the heavens after its rich experiences.

"Perhaps this is the reason for its good fortune," Ethen mused.

He believes that only when life reaches the realm of "autumn" can one truly view certain things and people with an open heart, achieving genuine ethereality and peace.

Only after attaining ethereality and peace can one truly possess real "luck."

After drinking about half a jar, Golden Retriever stopped. Ethen believed that a creature capable of uttering such profound statents surely had a greater capacity for alcohol than this.

He had a hunch that if it ca down to a drinking contest, this big dog before him might not necessarily lose to Blux. Therefore, he was sowhat puzzled and asked, "Why did you stop drinking?"

Golden Retriever smiled but said nothing. Seeing this, Ethen had an epiphany. Sotis, a person should have an attitude of "good enough," just like a golden retriever.

A little too much is excessive, a little too little is insufficient; "good enough" is fine.

As the subject, I an, as the subject dog the golden retriever has unwittingly established a deep "sage" image in Ethen's eyes.

Actually, the golden retriever was rely quiet because it had drank its fill and was simply too full to move…

After the golden retriever finished drinking, Ethen planned to store it in a battle pet Space. But at that mont, Ethen suddenly rembered that the golden retriever still had a chance to use its "lucky aura" today.

Imdiately, his interest was piqued, and he issued a command for Golden Retriever to activate its Luck Aura. He wanted to see what would happen if Golden Retriever used the Luck Aura after drinking.

"Will Golden Retriever, with the power of the Luck Aura, compose an extraordinary poem?"

"Or perhaps utter a profound truth?"

Ethen had high hopes. In the next mont, the aura rose around Golden Retriever. However, there was no extraordinary poem as Ethen had anticipated, nor any profound truths.

With a "wow" sound, the golden retriever vomited.

What the heck?

It actually vomited?

What happened to the promised Luck Aura?

Ethen was stunned.

The pungent sll of vomit was unbearable for him.

"This place is no longer habitable."

Imdiately, he packed all the remaining monkey wine into his storage space, returned the utterly drunk Golden retriever to its battle pet Space, and carried the soundly sleeping Azrul out of the white monkey's cave.

"It's so late, where should we spend the night now?"

Ethen was a bit speechless at this point. The perfect spot for spending the night had been ruined by Golden Retriever. It seems that the Luck Aura doesn't always bring fortune. Imdiately, he carried Azrul on his back and walked towards the distance.

Bang!

As soon as he had taken a few dozen steps, Ethen heard a loud noise from behind. His expression changed drastically, and he turned to look. He saw a teor falling from the sky, smashing violently onto the mountain where the White Monkey's cave was located.

"Ah!"

This scene left Ethen dumbfounded. Feeling a chill down his back, he suddenly realized that all of this was thanks to the Luck Aura.

If the Luck Aura hadn't worked, Golden Retriever wouldn't have held back, and he wouldn't have left the cave with Azrul.

If he had stayed in the cave just now, he would have likely been in grave danger. At this mont, he finally understood that he had misjudged Golden Retriever.

There was no doubt about Golden Retriever's strength as a lucky star. The moonlight illuminated the ground brightly. Ethen carried the still-unconscious Azrul for about a mile and ca to rest beside a giant rock. Just then, Azrul's phone began to ring.

"Who is calling at this late hour?"

Ethen took out his phone from Azrul's pocket and saw that the caller ID was "Saiful Ling." This is Saiful Ling. Ethen knows him; he is one of Azrul's assistants, and the two have a good relationship.
