The real Elias was still trapped in a mirror, unaware of what was happening in the real world. He had tried to break free, but nothing he did worked.

Brute force was useless and only made him feel even more trapped. It was as if the protection of his own mind was being used against him.

Since nothing else worked, he tried his last resort. He placed his palm on the mirror and mumbled, "Please work."

"Confirm Extraction!"

He didn't know if he could still use his abilities, as he wasn't even in control of his body or his Bloodline.

Most abilities were connected to a person's body, and specifically to just one soul, which made him doubt if he could even use his.

Fortunately, sothing did happen. A blood-red warning screen appeared before him.

....

Warning! The action is not advised. It might erase all your ntal protection and could have many dangerous consequences.

....

"Confirm Extraction!" Elias yelled, seeing no point in ntal protection when he was a victim of those very protections.

....

Warning! The physical and ntal state of the body is not optimal. Performing extraction is dangerous, and might have unintentional consequences! Would you like to proceed?

....

This was the first ti that he had received a second warning for the sa action. But he didn't stop here. The only alternative to doing this was to be trapped here for an eternity.

He punched the mirror again and yelled, "Confirm extraction! Confirm extraction! CONFIRM EXTRACTION"

It was his first ti performing extraction in his own mind. Even though the target of extraction was only a small elent of his conscience, he realized the kind of risks that it carried.

He knew the longer he thought about it, the more he might start to hesitate. At this point, he wasn't even hoping for the best but was gambling on it.

....

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" the Constellation asked, gazing into the distant sky and appreciating its beauty.

"Everything seems so beautiful when you are alive. I wonder how much the world outside has changed. Is that bastard still alive? I truly wonder. All I know is that things will get spicy when I get out of here."

"Why aren't you saying anything?" he asked, looking down at the body of the Harbinger, on which he was sitting as if it was his throne.

Her beastly form was stained with blood, and her wings were ripped apart. One of her wings had already turned into essence and been absorbed by the Constellation. He held the other wing in his hand, using it as a fan as he admired the view.

"You know, I really want to thank you. If it wasn't for you, that brat wouldn't have been forced to go crazy, giving an opportunity to get out," he said, patting the Harbinger's fur.

To the world, she might have appeared as a fierce beast, but to the Constellation, she was like a small, cute pet, not even worthy of his attention.

He thought out loud, "In fact, I should be rewarding you. In a normal situation, I might have accepted you as a follower and taken you out of here. But a promise is a promise, so I hope you won't mind."

He reached out his hand and stabbed it into the Harbinger's chest, making her cry out in pain. Her core was being devoured, and she could feel her life and every mory disappearing.

Even the mories of the world that was destroyed, which gave birth to her, were being taken away, including the reason for her existence.

"Who... are... you?" The Harbinger asked, unable to even resist as her life was being taken away from her.

"Are you also a fable?" At first, she didn't believe it. But when that person talked about thanking her for letting him return to life, it made her understand what might have happened. It was the corruption of a fable!

Normally, the person who was recently corrupted wasn't strong right away. So she truly wondered just what kind of frightening fable she ca across.

Was it sothing that was born in a higher world, like the fables that ruled over their own domains that were forbidden for fables like her?

If that was true, then she couldn't believe her rotten luck. She found one student, and that Student itself was one that was already dead after being corrupted by a higher fable. If anything, she helped this fable, becoming his food.

"Fable? Why does everyone keep confusing with trash?" The Constellation asked, unable to hide his disgust. This was the second ti within the last half an hour that he had been confused with a fable.

"I am Astralious, the constellation of the Night Sky." It had been a long ti since he had an opportunity to introduce himself. The last ti he did that, was the day that he was killed by the person that he told his na

"A constellation?" Harbinger's pupils trembled, the mont she heard it. For a mont, she couldn't even believe her ears.

A Constellation was truly different from a Fable, that depended on their story and past to co into existence. A Constellation was an existence that was born, not from the destruction of a re world, but from the chaos of the universe itself.

Even in the world where she was born, a constellation was worshipped. She didn't know what to feel about it. Should she be sad that she was dying? Or should she be happy, that her fable was being devoured by a literal god.

It all started making sense to her. She had died, the mont she ca across a constellation. There was no point in feeling sad about it.

So what if she was dying? A god was being released into this world, sothing that could beco a true Nightmare for the Dinsional Academy when he left this place.

If anything, she started feeling glad, as a hint of a smile appeared on her lips. She disappeared, with a smile on her lips, as the last shreds of her story were devoured by Astralious.

....
