Freya had accepted Elias as a personal disciple, sothing that was a rarity even amongst the Star Disciples.
There were a total of nine star disciples before Elias, and now he was the tenth one. Amongst the nine that ca before him, not a single one was accepted by Freya as a personal disciple.
It was Freya's way to send a signal to the world that Elias was under her protection. Even if anyone wanted to hurt him, they had to pass through her first.
Elias didn't mind accepting a master in na, since he was only faking it for reward. He didn't have any particular fondness for Freya, and this experience didn't quite change his feelings.
If he wasn't useful to her, he was sure that she wouldn't even spare a second glance at him. She had already tried to sacrifice him a few tis to get more benefits from the others.
Just like she had made use of him, he wanted to make use of her. He wanted to take everything that she could grant him, including every authority that ca with being a disciple of the Dean.
"Master." Elias respectfully lowered his head, but deep down, he didn't have even the slightest fragnt of respect for her.
"Good Disciple." Freya laughed heartily, and handed over a storage ring to Elias as a reward.
"This ring contains the resources that you might need in the future. There are also three talismans that can block three full strength strikes of soone as strong as . If your life is ever in danger, don't ever hesitate to use them."
She had already rewarded him for becoming a star student of the academy. And now, she rewarded him separately as his master.
Elias didn't stand on the ceremony, and took everything that she had to offer, including the Talismans that were truly useful for him.
Even if these Talismans couldn't stop the attack of his father, they could protect him from almost everything else under the sky. In any case, he wasn't planning to risk his life anyti soon.
Elias was accepted by the Academy wholeheartedly, and the other Professors also started treating him much better than they did with the founding family descendants.
Even the Professors of the Destroyer Faction, who weren't particularly fond of a Creator getting such privilege, didn't treat him badly.
Many people in the Academy wanted to see 'Kaelen', the boy who had caused the storm around the Academy. But he had simply disappeared. For the next few months, only a rare few people saw him.
Elias spent the three months being locked in a training room, where he was granted all the books that were left by the previous dean.
These books contained the understanding of the previous ancestor who controlled the Ice Phoenix Flas before Elias.
These books were useless for almost everyone, except Elias. He spent his ti reading the books, and consuming the heavenly treasures that were granted by the Academy to strengthen himself.
Every week, Freya also made an appearance in the training room to check up on his progress and offer him a few guidance.
While she was with him, she didn't forget to tell him about the recent events at the Academy, including so of the managent secrets.
Elias was initially confused as to why she was telling him such things, but soon he ca to learn that it was because she was starting to prepare him as an heir of the Academy.
Not just him, the other Star Disciples were also occasionally given this information, as all of them had a chance to beco the next leader of the Academy.
The only difference was that there was only one person who had the favor of Freya at the mont, and it was Elias.
Almost everyone in the Academy was certain that Freya preferred 'Kaelen", which ant that he was in the lead to beco the next Leader of the Academy.
It was sothing that made the other Star Disciples feel sowhat frustrated.
A child that hadn't even been at the Academy for a year, had suddenly overtaken them in the race of becoming the heir of the academy while they had been training for years.
Elias didn't care about other people's thoughts, and focused only on becoming stronger. The Growth Stone had allowed him to attain his second evolution, making him one of the fastest to achieve sothing like this.
It wasn't wrong to say that his main body was enjoying the treatnt that an heir was supposed to receive. anwhile, his second body, which held the identity of Elias Ashborn, wasn't in such a good situation.
While 'Kaelen' was enjoying life, Elias was given another mission. And this ti, the mission didn't have anything to do with the class assignnts.
Elias was selected as one of the few representatives who was going to compete with Chronos.
Normally, he wasn't legally allowed to participate in that event, but Chronos insisted on him joining. The Academy was even given so concessions to ensure that they sent Elias.
Elias knew that Freya had already made a secret deal with Chronos to send him, and just like that, he received the orders to stay prepared for that.
The only good thing was that his family didn't disturb him yet. His father hadn't made an appearance ever since he left the last ti. And even his step-mother wasn't able to directly influence the Academy.
"They really want to kill , don't they?" Elias mumbled, looking at the letter that he had received from the Administrative Departnt.
"They even try to justify it. Truly shaless."
The Academy had ntioned in the letter that they had no choice but to do it. As his entire class was destroyed, they didn't have the final yearly exams with just him. That's why, this participation was to be treated as his final examination for this year.
As for the destination, surprisingly, it was within the Ashborn Family territory. When Elias realized it, he couldn't help but laugh.
On one side, the Academy was giving him everything that he could ask to help him beco stronger. On the other hand, they were sending him to be sacrificed.
