"So he is not here," Elias said, making Astralious look weirdly at him.
"Cough, aren't you a little too into this roleplay?"
Elias ignored Astralious's words, and maintained the persona.
"I have received the information that Elias isn't here. Now all I need to know is the current strength of the Destroyer Faction."
He moved from one part of the camp to another, occasionally writing down sothing in a diary that he was given. It included the nas of the people that he had seen in the camp, along with their ranks on the scroll.
"There are not as many as I thought there would be."
While performing reconnaissance, he soon reached the Central tent, which was the last step on his journey. It was also the place where the top rankers from the Destroyer Faction were gathered.
The security here was also the weakest, since no one knew that an infiltrator had already managed to enter the camp.
Elias moved closer to the tent, and sat behind it. He closed his eyes, and lowered his head, pretending to be a student of the Destroyer Faction that had just fallen asleep here out of exhaustion.
As long as his face wasn't seen, then even if soone saw him here, they wouldn't suspect him. At least that was his plan.
He kept his head down, and used his heightened senses to hear what was being said inside.
"Have you still not found the whereabouts of that person?" A man's voice ca, raising a question.
"Do you think it's child's play? In such a vast world, he could be anywhere. I can't even use my Class Abilities to find him because of this damned bracelet."
"We have been waiting for such a long ti, thinking that he will co here. If we could work with him, we would definitely be much stronger."
"Aren't we overestimating him? Doesn't he just have a low tier soul beast? I can kill his soul beast with a single slap with just my physique alone."
"His Soul Beast might be weak, but that doesn't an he is weak. Didn't you see how fast he rose through the ranks at the start? It's impossible based on the strength of his soul beast alone."
"He must have given so treasures to his pathetic soul beast to increase her strength."
"Weren't all the treasures taken by a Pirate? How did he manage to protect his treasures? Where did he even hide them?"
"I don't know. All I know is that he sohow protected his treasures. If he works with us, and shares so of them with our soul beasts, we would have an even bigger advantage."
"Of course we will. Our soul beasts are stronger than his. They can put those treasures to a much better use than a trashy low tier could. That's why we had been waiting for him to arrive."
"Could it be that he already expected this? He is scared of being robbed by us, so he didn't co here?"
"I wouldn't put it beneath him. It's no wonder his ranking didn't increase after everyone had gathered here. It's because he is scared of even coming here."
"If he doesn't co, then what's the point of waiting? We should give up and just attack the enemy ourselves."
The back and forth in this place was similar to the one that took place in the Creator Camp. Even the reason was the sa person. Just that the perspective was different.
"What do you think?" All the top rankers in the room looked towards the girl who held the first rank of the scroll.
"I wanted to wait for him. I thought he would be able to show sothing interesting. But if he doesn't co, then I can only give up." The girl sighed, disappointnt evident in her eyes.
She wanted to see just what Elias was capable of. That's why she even sent a few people to kill him. Everyti she did that he ca out on the top without even revealing his true depths.
After that, he just disappeared and she couldn't find him. She ca here when the strange signs started appearing, expecting Elias to also arrive at this place. But it didn't work.
"We will wait until tomorrow morning. And if we still can't find him, then we will take matters into our own hands. It's ti we end this test, once and for all."
As the current leader of the Destroyer Faction, she agreed with the decision of the majority. Once she was done, she left the tent, accompanied by her Constellation.
'Wait for , huh. Unfortunately, I won't be coming anyti soon.' Elias raised his head. He had received every information that he needed to make this performance realistic.
He stood up, and walked away from the tent of the top rankers. He walked to the North, to take the sa route back that he had taken to co to this place.
He looked around to ensure that he wasn't followed. He soon entered the tunnel, and left through the exit on the other side.
"It looks like they didn't disappoint you." Astralious smiled, the mont Elias ca out from the tunnel.
The first thing he saw were the slender legs of a person, who was standing before him. He raised his head, and saw the face of the person. His expressions beca darker.
It was soone that he had seen before. It was the sa girl, who held the top rank right now. She was also the one that had followed him to his town.
The girl wasn't alone here. He also felt more presence. When he turned his head around, he saw that more people from the Destroyer Class had gathered here.
Almost everyone from the top tan ranks was gathered here, as if they knew where he was going to co out from.
"Did you get the information that you wanted?" The girl asked, looking down on Elias who hadn't yet completely crawled out of the snow.
"I surrender." Elias raised his head, making it evident that he had no intention to fight.
The girl clapped her hand. The constellation behind her waved his hand, and Elias's body flew out of the snow.
"Oh, but we're just getting started." The girl smiled.
