....

Two weeks had passed since Elias inherited the Ice Phoenix Flas. Even now, the Academy didn't know the identity of the person who inherited the most prized possession of the previous Dean.

The Academy even increased the rewards to make the person co forward, but it was to no avail. The Inheritor didn't co forward.

In the Academy, there were a few students that had abilities which allowed them to control flas. Their greed made them co forward and declare themselves to be the Inheritor.

They thought that they could simply be accepted as the Core Student of the Academy and receive the growth stone after performing slight fla manipulation.

Even if they were caught lying, what was the worst that could happen? The rewards were worth the risk.

Their expectations were overwheld when the Academy expelled them outright after confirming that they were lying. Once enough of the liars were expelled, no one ca forward to lie about being the Inheritor.

"One more person was expelled from the Academy today."

Elias was sitting on the roof of his mansion, overlooking the entire Residential Area when Astralious ca flying to deliver the news that he had heard.

"As long as you don't use the flas before them, the Academy can't really confirm if you have the Phoenix Flas or not. But when you do use flas, it's quite easy for them to confirm what type of flas they are."

Elias wasn't surprised with the news. When the Academy didn't try to test every student to see if they possessed the Phoenix Flas or not, he had already confird it.

The Academy didn't have any thods to confirm if a person had the phoenix flas, as long as the real Inheritor didn't use the flas before soone who knew these flas.

If they had a thod, they would have forcefully checked everyone to find the Inheritor. There was no need for them to reward the person to co forward.

"They thought that the Academy can't find the Inheritor, which ans they can simply lie because the Academy can't confirm it. But you can only fool them to a certain point," Astralious nodded, standing on the edge of the roof.

"It's not hard to differentiate an ordinary fla from the Phoenix Flas, especially if it's the Ice Phoenix Flas," Elias raised both left hands, and an ordinary red fire lit up. He didn't use the phoenix flas, that were deep blue, and freezing cold.

"You still haven't rged your fla domain with the Ice Phoenix Flas yet?" Astralious raised a brow, wondering what Elias was waiting for. "Are you keeping that reserved for the other identity that you're planning?"

"That is true. So things are better kept separated." Elias snapped his fingers, and the red flas disappeared into nothingness. "I need flas for Elias Ashborn, that won't get caught."

Beep~

The Academy Identification badge lying on the ground started ringing, and a holographic notification rose from within.

Elias looked down at the badge, and read the notification. "It's ti to return..."

He picked up the badge, and stood up. He kept the badge in his pocket, and draped a robe over his shoulders.

After two weeks of waiting, it was finally ti for him to return ho. He had already prepared everything, and even kept Lycorice in the space within the ring, only reserved for Soul Beasts.

He walked to the end of the roof. His gaze road over the surroundings, as far as his eyes could see.

He could see other students from his class stepping out of their residences, accompanied by their Soul Beasts that looked even stronger than before.

"To think that they have already evolved their soul beasts into a Constellation." Astralious stood next to Elias. "Sothing I forget how easy it is to beco stronger when you're wealthy."

Lycorice was only a low grade soul beast. The difference between her and the other soul beasts was like heaven and earth in the past. And how, that difference had only beco bigger.

Elias climbed over the low stone parapet that marked the edge of the roof. He balanced there for a mont while the wind tugged at his newly worn robe.

His gaze swept one last ti over the Academy's elite students before he stepped forward, jumping off the roof.

The air resisted his descent, whipping his hair and robe around him. Just before reaching the lawn in front of his mansion, his descent slowed abruptly, as if controlled by an invisible force.

He landed softly on his feet with not a speck of dust disturbed by the impact of his landing.

"The last few days have been so peaceful. It truly feels surreal. If only this peace had lasted longer," Astralious rubbed his forehead, before disappearing.

He materialized on the ground right next to Elias, having no need to jump as he was in a spiritual form attached to Elias.

Many students paid attention to Elias the mont he arrived, their gazes roaming around him to find his Soul Beast.

"Is he hiding his Soul Beast?"

"If I had a Soul Beast which was only a low tier, I would be hiding it as well. Isn't he only coming as a formality? There's no need to bother him."

"You idiot, don't forget that he might be the one who killed Rey Esterin. Even if his Soul Beast is weak, he is still strong in himself. Don't ss with him for no reason!"

"Tch, who said I wanted to ss with him? Can you stop trying to put words in my mouth?"

The students walked past Elias to leave the residential area, advancing towards the eting point.

Elias also followed after them in silence. He left the Residential Area and found the other students that had already gathered outside.

The group waited there for the professor to arrive and escort them to Earth. But the Professor didn't arrive.

What arrived was a large gust of wind, coming from the sky. It made the students raise their heads, and they caught a glimpse of a Battleship marked with the Academy's Insignia.

The entrance of the battleship was open, a person was sitting there, his feet dangling in the air. The person rubbed his eyes that had dark circles around them.
