"What is this?" Elias asked the girl, who was eager for him to sign without telling him everything about it.

"This is your confirmation of what we discussed before," Sarah answered.

'Huh? What did we discuss before? Is she talking about the ti before I possessed this body? How am I supposed to know what we discussed?'

Elias frowned, looking at the paper before him. He didn't even know what kind of deal was discussed with this girl. All he knew was the na of the girl, and that too because of Analysis.

There was nothing written on the paper, so he couldn't even read the words to understand what the so-called deal was in the first place.

He didn't believe that soone in the position of Elias, who was suppressed by his family, could get a girl like her to make a deal beneficial to him.

Even though he didn't know what the deal was, he knew that he couldn't sign it. The person who made this deal was different. It had nothing to do with him.

"Why don't you elaborate on the deal again, just so I know that we are still on the sa page?" he asked Sarah, who was waiting for him to sign.

When she saw him delaying the signing, she was a little suspicious. She wondered if Elias was having second thoughts about their deal. But she couldn't read anything from his expressions alone.

The woman clapped her hands once, and set a sound barrier around them. Within the sound barrier, they could talk about anything and no one here could hear other than them.

"The deal that you begged to make with you. The deal where I am to help you escape to a place where your family can't find you," Sarah explained, observing even the smallest of reactions of Elias.

Unfortunately, she couldn't see any signs from his face. Was he hesitating? Was he having second thoughts? Or had he changed his mind? She couldn't be sure.

Elias, on the other hand, was also going through a lot of thoughts. He finally understood why Elias wanted to make this deal.

He wanted to get away from his family, and he begged the person that could help him, soone who was also a part of another major family.

'Is that why he was looking forward to coming to the Academy? Because he was going to escape from here?' Elias rubbed his forehead, wondering if the deal was actually beneficial for soone like him.

Even if it was him, the thought of being able to get out of the academy was not as scary as before. The only problem was that he didn't know what the girl wanted in return.

He didn't think that the girl would have helped Elias out of the kindness of her heart. But what could soone who was abandoned by his family offer her?

"That's correct. And what did I promise you in return?" he asked the girl.

"You promised that you would sign it and break the arrangent between us."

"Ah, the arrangent between us." Elias nodded as if he rembered everything. In reality, he had not a single clue as to what they were actually talking about.

"Can you still elaborate more on the so-called arrangent, just to be sure that you rember it as well?" he asked, maintaining his composure.

"That's enough joking around. Please sign it. I have arranged everything. By tomorrow morning, you will be out of the Academy, and on your way to the safe world that I have arranged. Even if it's your family, they can't find you there."

Elias thought that he could get the girl to tell him everything, but she started insisting on him signing first. She was starting to be suspicious of his intentions.

'How can I expect to sign when I don't even know what you are supposed to get. What arrangent needs to be broken?'

'It can be anything, from the arrangent of us being equals as descendents of the founding family, which ans the contract is about being enslaved by her. Or it could be about sothing simpler. Should I take the risk?'

'Wait, what am I even thinking about? I don't need to leave the Academy. I still have to get to earth. I can't even be sure if she will actually keep her promise after I sign. Can I abandon everything over her words?'

He rubbed his temples, trying to clear the jumbled thoughts from his mind. He knew he had to make a rational decision, but the allure of the deal kept trying to poke at him.

He had already kidnapped Dreke after all. If she wasn't lying and he left this place, then his safety was more or less ensured.

He tried asking her a few more tis, to tell her about the arrangent. At tis, he even told her the truth that he didn't rember. But the girl thought that he was lying.

She didn't answer him. Instead, her gaze kept turning colder. Her insistence also beca stronger.

"I'm sorry, but I have changed my mind. I don't want to sign." After a long period of silence, Elias also spoke up and made up his mind.

If she was forcing him so much, it made him even more suspicious about her intentions and this arrangent. He might not get an escape route, but he also didn't want to give her what she wanted.

"I should have known. A vulture like you would never want to break that arrangent. You are quite selfish," Sarah said, her voice almost freezing. "Have you thought about the consequences?"

'How can I think about the consequences when I don't even know what I am supposed to sign? You are talking to the wrong person, idiot.' Elias thought in his mind, but didn't say it out loud.

"Can I leave now?" he asked.

"I never stopped you from leaving." The girl stepped back, cancelling the sound barrier.
