"Star Port! I want to build a Space Port!" He Xingzhou thought to himself. What does humanity lack right now? Warships, planetary mining ships, and space bases!
These man-made objects are massive in size and need to fly in space for long periods. Aren’t they the perfect choices for space elevator counterweights?
"With ten space elevators, we can construct ten massive objects!"
He Xingzhou started planning. How many space fleets does humanity need? There’s no limit!
So ten Star Ports are not excessive! So can serve as Star Ports for space battleships, while others will be comrcial trade ports, engineering and construction industrial ports, space ship construction factories, etc.
Constructing a large Star Port in one go and launching it into space is sowhat unrealistic. He Xingzhou plans to use modular technology to manufacture Star Port modules. These modules have the capability to fly in space and form a Star Port.
This way, even if a malfunction occurs or they are attacked by enemies, the Star Port can quickly return to normal.
He accessed the Quantum Light Computer to unlock the relevant technology:
"Spend 10 energy units to unlock the Space Port Control System."
"Spend 30 energy units to unlock the Space Power Transmission Device."
"Spend 50 energy units to unlock the Space Dock Technology."
...
Using accumulated energy, He Xingzhou unlocked a bunch of related technologies and imdiately began designing the Space Port.
"Personnel movent, cargo transport, space industry, space ship construction, starship repair, space defense..." These tasks must all be accomplished by the Space Port before Blue Star Civilization has space cities.
We could say the Space Port is a simplified version of a Space City.
"Lu Mi, generate the design drawings!" He Xingzhou shouted, and in front of him appeared ten thousand simple design drawings of Space Ports.
This was generated by Lu Mi’s intelligent program and might not be correct, but through this thod, He Xingzhou can quickly select a model for modification.
"This is much more convenient. Lu Mi, if I upgrade you to a silicon-based life form, my work will be much easier," He Xingzhou said.
"Thank you, Master. Lu Mi also wants to have life!" Lu Mi said happily.
Her current emotions are just programd emotions and not actual feelings.
In the Virtual World, He Xingzhou saw many silicon-based civilizations. Often before reaching the sa level, silicon-based civilizations are more powerful than ordinary ones!
Because their productivity and execution capability are stronger!
As for advanced civilizations, every creature possesses extraordinary intelligence, and these advantages of silicon-based civilizations diminish.
In just a few days, He Xingzhou completed the first draft of the Space Port!
He directly submitted the draft to the Interstellar Construction Departnt, inviting designers to improve and modify it. So mature modules began production and launch imdiately.
The Space Port must be built earlier than the ground part of the Space Elevator, to pull up the cables and carriages.
...
In the Subspace Virtual Universe, He Xingzhou returned to the interstellar construction conference. Today is the opening day of the newcor competition.
Xu Zhilan entered the Virtual Universe for the first ti and felt curious about everything. She had "a hundred thousand whys" in her mind, just like He Xingzhou when he first arrived.
"These aliens are so strange—fortunately there are humanoid species," Xu Zhilan said to him. "Otherwise, I wouldn’t dare to communicate with them!"
"No worries. This is the Virtual Universe, where you can do anything. Just don’t expose our civilization’s information or provoke unnecessary enemies," He Xingzhou advised.
"Yes, yes," Xu Zhilan kept close to him.
In the interstellar construction conference hall, it was already full of people—interstellar architects and their companions—all there to compete.
"Chengfeng, you’re here," He Xingzhou joined a circle of newcors, and a few people greeted him.
All were Level 1 civilizations, and there were no direct conflicts. Apart from a few eccentric alien species, most aliens maintained surface politeness.
"There are a hundred thousand participants in this competition!" Yan Xin exclaid excitedly. "A hundred thousand civilizations! We, as entry-level civilizations, might not et even ten civilizations before our own would perish!"
"Yes, we should take this opportunity to learn and exchange ideas. Maybe it will allow our civilizations to co-evolve!" said one of the interstellar architects nearby.
"Progress is relative; so civilizations are too weak to be worth interacting with," a discordant voice interrupted.
He Xingzhou had a premonition—they were targeting him again.
Sure enough, four individuals appeared around him—one resembling a Sea Beast, another a Fishman, one person carrying a large conch shell, and a female Sea Demon with an eerie appearance.
Upon seeing their competition tags, He Xingzhou roughly understood their identities and intentions.
"Level 1 Architect, Rugen, current points 90. Preparing for the competition."
"Level 1 Architect, Fesi, current points 87. Preparing for the competition."
"Level 1 Architect, Zhuoyin, current points 85. Preparing for the competition."
"Level 1 Architect, Sairen, current points 80. Preparing for the competition."
These four were representatives from the Sea Beast Civilization, Fishman Civilization, Conch Civilization, and Sea Demon Civilization, respectively.
They ca to He Xingzhou likely because of what Bai Ningxiang ntioned.
To gain more support from the Black Sea Civilization, they needed to compete with the Blue Star Civilization.
"Chengfeng, you have quite a few enemies. Last ti it was mbers of the Maoshi Star Union, and now several civilization representatives have co," Yan Xin complained. "As entry-level civilizations, we should avoid making so many enemies."
He Xingzhou said helplessly, "I don’t want this either; they’re the ones who approached . I’m just an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire!"
