When a project has been botched by you and shows signs of collapsing, what should be done?

The correct answer is, of course, to find soone else to take over!

Whether the project is ruined or not isn’t important; what’s important is that it doesn’t collapse in my hands!

At this point, you must find soone to take over.

Of course, this kind of thing also requires mutual consent, as the saying goes, "A forced lon isn’t sweet." You can’t force soone to take over a half-done project. Anyone, unless they’re a fool, can guess that such a project surely has issues; whoever takes it over becos the scapegoat.

"In their eyes, I’m an Ascetic. However, this project was ’borrowed’ by from others with ’discarded face,’ indicating that the ’Knight Frey’ character, although an Ascetic, isn’t pious enough to abandon family and career. On this premise, one needs to weigh ’sending out’... Ah, right, right, ’sending’ is too suspicious no matter how. Should it be... ’using the project to exchange for treatnt’? ’Using the project to exchange for another project’?"

A familiar feeling arises spontaneously. Although Xiang Shan doesn’t miss it in the slightest.

That was sothing that happened over two hundred years ago. At that ti, Superman Enterprise occasionally encountered situations where they needed to exchange technology for policies or market access. At such tis, Xiang Shan would cast out so data with little prospects or non-critical items for the other party to study, or establish a cooperative project led by the other party.

First of all, rely repeating the verification would require at least several months of ti from the other party. And on top of that, technological developnts are ever-changing.

Even if the other party realizes after a period that digging deeper into the direction Xiang Shan yielded has no value, it still can’t be said that Xiang Shan deceived them.

Xiang Shan simply had "a more precise prediction of future prospects."

In that rapidly evolving era, so things truly only needed to "get by for a while." "A technology rapidly depreciating due to another newer technology" was a frequent occurrence.

The only difficulty here was "having to provide real data." Xiang Shan must ensure that the data he provided was genuine, or he must be able to prove that before the point in ti when Superman Enterprise provided the data, the data conclusions within couldn’t be overturned.

On one hand, this counted as the last stubbornness of conscience and morality. On the other hand, this was also a sort of "self-protection."

Superman Enterprise was doing pioneering work. This kind of action, "completing the transformation of an entire species within a single generation," might also be without future successors. The resources involved here were enough to invert international situations. Under this premise, Superman Enterprise couldn’t afford a single misstep.

During that phase, Xiang Shan couldn’t let people catch any faults. The data in the provided information must be real.

However, the current situation is sowhat different. At that ti, Xiang Shan united the most elite scholar team, so his recognition of future technology prospects surpassed any team outside the company. But now, in terms of knowledge about transformation technology, the Life Furnace Knights Order is far above Xiang Shan.

This ti, Xiang Shan really wanted to fill in random data, but unfortunately, he couldn’t.

He still lacks any authority. This Prosthetic Body prepared by the Order for him also lacks wireless signal transmission modules. In most cases, he must use wired connections, and only within a limited number of interfaces. Even the person responsible for filling in the data isn’t him personally.

At present, these mbers can do so non-compliant operations for him, but expecting them to rebel against the Knights Order for Knight Frey is evidently unlikely.

"This matter can still be concealed for a month or so. If it goes well, perhaps it can be concealed for half a year... no, I shouldn’t think this way," Xiang Shan reflected. "That would be far too smooth. Besides, I hardly need that long. I just need to figure out the genes of this brain’s cells..."

Using real data and statistical skills to mislead others, though difficult, isn’t completely impossible.

At least it can mislead for a few months.

Xiang Shan’s ultimate goal is to formulate a secure cellular enhancent plan for himself, which requires figuring out which genetic technology is incompatible with his current genes. The more he studies, the more he risks exposing the fact that "I know nothing about these cells."

The faster Xiang Shan researches, the greater the risk of exposure.

And now, Xiang Shan vaguely realizes that his initial direction was wrong. He must use real data to temporarily convince other Vice Captains that this is the correct direction, then let them take over the project.

anwhile, he needs access to follow-up experintal data to design subsequent experint plans for himself. Ideally, he wouldn’t completely detach his nominal association with the project.

In this way, even if he judges wrongly, the synthetic pathway for the cell frawork is included within yet-to-be clarified genetic information, it won’t matter at all. Because that’s normal.

And if his judgnt is correct, then he has a reason to pass the bla—"It’s not who’s incapable, but the gentleman who took over made the wrong direction." This doesn’t necessarily an he can get away with it, but it does offer so buffer, at least making it easier to escape.

Actually, at the end of the day, Xiang Shan doesn’t need to think too much about "future prospects."

This is truly a life-and-death situation.

—On this basis, the bottom line can be lowered a bit.

Xiang Shan suspects "the synthetic pathway simply isn’t contained within genetic information," because the known portions can’t find any enzy that can interact with this cell frawork, and the complex organic matter constituting this cell frawork is almost impossible to translate from known genetic information.

An intuitive sense derived from Yawgmoth’s certain "non-descriptive, non-precise simplified algorithm" (in plain words: intuition) tells him this direction could be wrong.

Even if it’s right, it probably requires a long ti to research.

Then, the correct direction...

"That guy Parmion has been rambling on about many different directions to ... most of which require extensive resource investnt..."

"The ’correct answer’ might be hidden amongst them, and Parmion likely hasn’t realized it. He rely picked out many directions, then piled resources into them."

"There’s still a chance. Given the goodwill I’ve accumulated now, I propose accepting his arrangent and exchange it for a project... Hmm... there’s a bit of hope."

Mr. Parmion currently considers the project in Knight Frey’s hands to have great potential, while unknowingly holding another project with imnse promise.

Isn’t this business ripe for the taking?

Xiang Shan suddenly stood up: "Little J, co with for a while. I need to seek counsel from Mr. Parmion."

............

Scientific Knight Parmion has been quite pleased recently.

It seems that Knight Frey is gradually becoming convinced by him.

All the effort he put in over the past few months wasn’t in vain.

Parmion has been personally teaching Frey in the domain of cellular-level transformation research. Those ideas that Frey threw out, which "Frey couldn’t possibly complete," are a show-off, a cunning desire not to lose, and yet a display of kindness.

Mr. Parmion is guiding the young ascetic Scientific Knight! Research is by no ans a solitary battle.

He expended so much effort rely to make Knight Frey realize early not to hold onto the notion of "mine, mine, mine" any longer. How can everything be his?

Moreover, wasn’t this project illicitly developed by Frey from the teachings?

He certainly can’t pretend to be a good guy on this point!

Knight Frey also seems inclined to lean toward him. Over the past two weeks, their projects have undergone so collaboration.

Of course, that Frey isn’t exactly willing to submit to others. The two had a bit of overt and covert power struggle over the personnel involved in those collaborative project teams.

What a pity, what a pity, Knight Frey still hasn’t realized it. This is the Life Furnace Knights Order, and he doesn’t have a genuinely loyal crew. His subordinates are all provided by the Order. Even if he gains a small advantage in this open and hidden struggle, what does it matter?

Still hasn’t seen through it.

But he will eventually understand.

Parmion is ambitious.

And the reason he’s willing to spend so much effort is that Knight Frey is indeed very capable.

In the last ninety years before Ascension, everyone must try their best. And Knight Frey, being so strong, is undoubtedly a highly appealing ally.

In the ninety years’ ti, the current leader will surely enter the Sanctuary. And the next leader position of the Life Furnace Knights Order will likely be Devinia. But if Frey becos his aide, Parmion might also have a chance to contend.

For Ascension, everything must be fought for!

"As long as I put in a little more effort, Frey will realize his inadequacies and offer up his projects, won’t he?"

Of course, he simply wants to inscribe the insignia in the corresponding author position.

The first-order insignia will still be left for Frey.

At this mont, Parmion unexpectedly received a communication request.

It’s from Permian Great Hermit Devinia.

Parmion was slightly displeased.

If there’s any area regarding Knight Frey that he finds challenging to control, it’s undoubtedly...

His relationship with Devinia is a bit too close.

Knight Frey actively participates in the Pact, sotis even initiating discussions on the path to Ascension and the beliefs of the Six Dragons Sect.

Besides the responsibilities in the Scientific Knight Order, Devinia also oversees the Six Dragons Sect affairs in the group.

An ascetic like Frey can easily earn Devinia’s favor.

After pondering for a mont, he delved into the network.

This ti, the link Devinia shared pointed to a secluded Virtual Space, simulating primitive wooden materials. Devinia assud the image of a hairless monk, sitting cross-legged in front of a small tea table, slowly savoring the brewed tea.

The related taste mories would automatically play with his actions.

Devinia pointed to the mat opposite him: "Sit."

Parmion said, "If there’s sothing, just say it straight."

Devinia was silent for a mont: "I’ve heard that you plan to swallow Mr. Frey’s project."
