The reason Wuyi wanted slower progress was, as his cultivation grew, Wuyi understood how important the cultivation techniques were. He also understood that he could use the current thod to reach the Qi Master level, but after reaching Qi Master, he could not use the sa technique.

If he used the current technique after reaching Qi Master, the highest level of cultivation he would reach in this life would be Qi Lord, but after that, his foundation would not allow him to reach a higher level. Wuyi wanted to beco immortal, to be freed from any and every shackle this world might have, and for that, he would need to find a better thod to cultivate.

Besides finding an immortal cultivation technique and cultivating on his own, there was an alternative approach to achieving higher levels of cultivation through joining a sect, which could potentially offer superior cultivation thods.

However, gaining entry into a sect that possessed immortal techniques was as challenging, if not more so, than advancing one's cultivation to the level of a Qi Lord. Ascending within such a sect required considerable resources and wealth, assets beyond what Wuyi could muster, even with his current financial standing and noble status.

Therefore, he decided to slow down his cultivation progress. After reaching the Qi Master level, he planned to pause his cultivation efforts unless he stumbled upon an exceptional thod that could lay a foundation for a limitless future. Once he achieved the Qi Master level, he expected the statues to beco more efficient in absorbing energy.

His plan then was to focus on providing as much energy as possible to his statues until he found the right cultivation thod.

Wuyi also intended to strengthen all his subordinates, ensuring that his foundation wasn't only solid in cultivation but that the clan he was building would also serve as a sturdy base for his survival in this world.

Wuyi might not be an expert in how clans were managed in this world, but he knew how organizational structures worked, especially in corporations and in mafia families. Having closely observed how mafia bosses managed their organizations, he planned to take a similar route and build his own mafia clan soday. This thought amused him more than it should have.

In all seriousness, one person, no matter how powerful, could never achieve the goals that an organized group of multiple people could. Hence, Wuyi planned to invest a good amount of ti and resources in building his mafia clan in this world.

Just like how he never saw them coming when they ca to kill him in his last life, he planned a similar approach for his enemies, who would never see him coming.

Their journey continued for months, and by the ti they closed in on their new clan's estate near Huanghou, all of his new subordinates had also reached Qi initiate level five or above. Wuyi had dedicatedly supported them throughout the whole journey. His Pure Qi was very potent and the new subordinates did not face any bottlenecks.

All the freed prisoners were now almost equal in strength to his old subordinates and equally loyal to him, thanks to the Statues of Harmony. However, one exception among his new subordinates was Baijian, who had reached the level of a Qi Adept. He exhibited a talent for cultivation and a dedication surpassing that of the others. He was already at Qi Initiate Level Six when Wuyi rescued him.

Wuyi felt that one of the most motivating factors for Baijian seed to be the scar-faced demoness, who always looked for ways to trouble this giant of a man. Wuyi understood iying. When she was in her darkest tis, he ca to her rescue. Ever since then, iying had shown care for Wuyi to a degree that she beca possessive of him.

When Baijian lifted Wuyi during the escape, asking if Wuyi was not afraid of him, the strong-headed iying thought it was highly disrespectful. How dare a re Qi Initiate touch her young master? She had a hard ti forgiving the giant for it.

She had killed people for lesser reasons. But since Wuyi had not allowed her to kill Baijian, she had to find other excuses to make him suffer. For example, one ti iying noticed that the new subordinates were dueling with each other to test their gained strength. iying directly challenged Baijian; to save face, Baijian had no choice but to accept. Then, she overwhelmingly defeated him.

Baijian, the Mountain, had to surrender and walk away, all bloody and ashad, in front of all the prisoners who feared and respected him

The mountain-sized Baijian had his own pride, being always the biggest in every group he t and always gaining respect and fear from everyone. But here, for the first ti, this demonic female had put the fear of heavens in him. For this reason, Baijian wanted to reach Qi adept level as soon as possible, so he cultivated diligently. He wanted to pay iying back for what she had made him go through.

Because of his dedication and Wuyi's support, Baijian, the giant, had broken through to Qi adept skin toughening by the ti they reached Wuyi's new estate in Huanghou. By that ti, Wuyi had also advanced to the Bone Forging level of Qi adept.

When they arrived to new estate. Wuyi was srized. He could not believe he owned such a picturesque estate, nestled in the embrace of the Green Mountains, around four hundred miles from Huanghou. The estate revealed itself gradually as the procession made its final approach. The mountains, cloaked in a misty veil, stood as silent sentinels guarding the estate.

Their slopes, dotted with a mosaic of greenery, hinted at the rich minerals and unique flora hidden within their folds. The air was crisp, filled with the earthy scent of the forest and the distant sound of a babbling river.

As they descended into the valley, the landscape transford. Fertile lands stretched out around the estate, where small villages and farms dotted the scenery. These farms boasted rows of unique crops, so with vibrantly colored leaves, others with fruits that glistened under the sun. Livestock, unlike any seen in the desert regions of the kingdom, grazed in the pastures.

The harmonious blend of agriculture and nature spoke of a land rich in resources and opportunities. Near the estate was a serene river, its waters glinting in the sunlight, winding through the landscape and providing life to the fields and villages.

A lake, placid and vast, lay on the other side, a natural reservoir for irrigation and a source of local fish, vital to the sustenance of the estate's inhabitants.
