The reason Chrysanthemum and her people's senses had received a sudden boost was because their magic cores had awakened and absorbed enough magic energy once more.

Another reason they detected the presence of those ominous energies was because they had lived in Somuli for a long ti and, thus, could differentiate differences in energies in the surroundings. Besides that, Somuli naturally had thin magic energy. With those ominous energies suddenly appearing, soone with powerful perception and senses would definitely notice them. They were practically sticking out like a sore thumb.

If not for these, Chrysanthemum and the few of her brethren with her would not have noticed the arrival of the owner of those ominous energies.

"Lady Chrysanthemum..."

A female spirit standing beside Chrysanthemum muttered, her voice shaking slightly from fear.

"Focus on the task at hand," Chrysanthemum reminded, wanting to divert their attention.

"I understand your fear," she continued. "After all, the ones possessing those energies are beings from that place. But don't let their presence dull your senses. Because if you focus well, you'll notice the presence of another being with much more powerful energy than them that is already in Somuli."

The eyes of every spirit with her widened as they were made aware of this.

Just as Chrysanthemum said, there was indeed another energy that was already in Somuli. It was quite a distance from them, which was why they could not determine its exact location. But judging from the direction from where it ca, it was close to the Eidum's territory.

It was unfortunate that they did not know of the silver humanoid dragon's appearance at the chasm separating the Armakea and Eidum borders. But they were not at fault for not knowing about it because Chrysanthemum only shared a brief account of what happened during her visit to the Armakea Border.

Initially, she decided not to tell them everything to prevent the rest of the community leaders from coming up with strange conspiracy theories once she proposed her idea. Alas, even without saying anything about the silver humanoid dragon, they still managed to co up with a conspiracy story.

Putting that aside, Chrysanthemum took that chance to tell her brethren more about her experience in the Armakea border. Although she did not say anything about the connection between their 'employer' and the being with that powerful energy, her brethren more or less guessed they were 'friends.'

The main reason they thought this was because they were familiar with the race that the being possessing that powerful energy was part of. Considering that fact and who their employer was, it was not that hard to connect them together.

Both possessed Ancient magic, after all.

As for their employer, Chrysanthemum did not hide it from them. In the first place, her people would not have willingly listened to her and agreed to help Kyran if they did not know of his identity as the new Void Master.

"Now that we are aware of those beings coming to Somuli, it goes without saying that sothing big is about to happen," Chrysanthemum went on after telling her brethren her experience in the Armakea border. "Focus on our task and report back as soon as possible."

"Yes, Lady Chrysanthemum."

In the end, they were already used to the feeling of being threatened. Thus, adjusting their mindset was easy. After that, they ford into three groups and dispersed.

At the hidden underground shelter of the Royal Family mbers, the battle between Malek and the Elders had taken a turn for the worse, with the forr's side at a disadvantage.

For the record, Nahir and the others did not let Malek confront the Elders by himself. Thus, after they found the opportunity, Nahir coordinated with Malek to split the Elders.

Their plan was to let Malek deal with three Elders while Nahir and the others engaged with the other four. However, splitting them up had been a task, especially when Nahir and the others could not enter Malek's domain.

Malek should be able to exempt Nahir and the others from the effects of his domain, but it would have put a great strain on his ntal capacity and would exhaust him quickly.

Though Cyneah and the rest of the Eidums could cast support spells on them to boost their strength, replenish their energies, and heal superficial wounds, they could not relieve ntal exhaustion.

Nahir was well aware of this, being an Eidum himself. Thus, he and Malek agreed for the latter to release his domain for a few seconds while Nahir and the other knights rushed in and diverted the attention of the other four Elders.

The plan itself was simple. However, splitting up the Elders had not been easy.

Malek also suffered so grievous injuries because all seven Elders were focused on taking him down first. After all, in their eyes, his mage level posed a threat to them, even though he was alone compared to the others.

With the assistance of the Eidums, especially with Cyneah's powerful healing abilities, Malek and Nahir managed to keep the situation under control. However, the Elders took note of this and imdiately changed the focus of their target. Apart from that, the arrival of the rest of the Royal Family mbers, along with their remaining forces that stayed behind, put the Eidums at risk.

Things escalated fast, especially when the Elders realized who Cyneah was.

In the end, Malek was forced to summon his domain again even before Nahir, and the rest could divert the attention of the four Elders.

Nahir's side managed to pull three Elders away from Malek, but that ant the latter had to endure the relentless attack of the remaining four.

From this, Cyneah ordered the rest of the Eidums to focus on assisting Nahir's side while she focused her attention on Malek.

Because the battle was ongoing, there was little to no ti at all for Cyneah, Malek, and Nahir to discuss their course of action. Even Cyneah's decision was made on the spot and executed soon after.

Unfortunately, with so many people gathered in one place, Cyneah had trouble properly distinguishing friends from foes. Since she only relied on the lights she could see and her senses to identify her people, she could barely keep up with how fast the battle was going.

Fortunately, Jita was guiding her all that ti.

Frankly, with Jita's strength, she could be a better help in battle. However, given her identity as Kyran's Servant and her recognition of Cyneah as their Mistress, she placed the latter's safety above all others.

In any case, with the Royal Family mbers' side having the advantage both in mage levels and numbers, Malek's side was already on the verge of defeat.

Thankfully, Eikin and those few who left to scout the place returned and successfully ambushed the rear line of the Royal Family mbers.

Even so, the damage they inflicted was negligible.

With no other choice, Eikin and Jita communicated with each other and arrived at a consensus. Eikin would have to use his full strength and reduce the number of the Royal Family mbers' forces, while Jita protected their Mistress and found an opportunity to take down an Elder or two.

Luckily, because Malek's side had the Eidum's assistance, they were able to endure. In contrast, the Royal Family mbers' side could only rely on limited mid to high-grade potions to replenish their magic energies and heal their wounds.

Nevertheless, the fatigue that both sides had built up was different.

Malek's side could not allow any of their people to rest, while the Royal Family mbers' side could spare manpower to let others who were already exhausted rest.

Malek's side had yet to feel their fatigue because of the rush they felt during battle. However, once it hit them, their formation would definitely begin to crumble. When that happened, it would only be a matter of ti before they fell.

Malek and Nahir knew this, and thus, they summoned their most powerful magic attack to try and reduce the number of enemies.

Nahir summoned a huge whirlwind of flas, while Malek summoned two Lightning Storms— one targetted the Elders inside his domain, while another targetted the enemies outside his domain.

Agonized screams filled the air as Nahir and Malek's attacks hit their intended targets.

Unfortunately, the Elders Malek was fighting inside his domain managed to escape the lightning storm since they were already familiar with it. Although they still suffered from it, they successfully endured the attack.

Cyneah, who was inside Malek's domain and was being protected by Jita, imdiately cast a recovery spell on both Malek and Nahir.

Seeing this, the Elders inside the domain could not help but grit their teeth in anger. They knew that if they wanted to take down Malek and Nahir, they had to first take care of the Saint.

Malek and Nahir were aware of what their enemies were thinking because they did not bother to mask their intention when they looked toward Cyneah's direction.
