Just as Kyran suspected, Ezra did possess the sa features as his mother and Nolan. While his facial features differ slightly, with a defined jawline and high nose bridge, he had the sa shade of silver gray hair and light blue eyes as them.
It gave Kyran mixed emotions. But remained indifferent and continued as if seeing them without a mask was nothing out of the ordinary.
Silas was also sowhat surprised. After all, he had t Kyran's mother and felt Ezra had the sa air as her. It was slightly different, but it was there. It made him wonder if the Montgoray Family had any ties with the Ada Family.
Zuri also had light blue eyes, but her hair was dark violet. She likely got it from her mother.
After that, Kyran proceeded to create the pact.
The 'pact' Kyran created was similar to what he had with Olivia, though slightly different. It would give him control over Ezra's life and death and the Montgoray Family.
Typically, performing a large-scale target pact was close to impossible. Apart from requiring an enormous amount of magic energy and resources, all targets must be present when the pact is cast. The caster must also be able to shoulder the ntal strain of connecting to several targets at once.
With Kyran's Void magic, he covered most of these requirents. Because he was inside his domain, he had no problem with resources and magic energy. As for the last one, he had perford far more severe rituals during his training in the Tower of Tribulations that the ntal strain from the pact was considered normal.
Kyran also included a Shared-Connection incantation in the pact.
The Shared-Connection incantation was a Dark Arts magic wherein a group of people, including the caster, would be able to sense each other's thoughts and feelings on a specific subject. For example, if the leader were wounded, the rest of the group mbers would know this and experience the pain he felt.
This pact was the sa connection all Templar Code's Elite Team mbers had. Kyran confird that Tritus knew the incantation and taught each leader of the Elite Team.
Tritus also admitted to Kyran that he learned the incantation from an ancient tablet he found in one of the ruins in the western part of the empire. Unfortunately, the Royal Army took over jurisdiction of the ruin soon after it was discovered. In the end, Tritus could only learn one incantation, and he was unable to grasp its complete concept.
For this reason, the Shared-Connection the Templar Code Elite Team had would only trigger when one of their mbers was in grave danger or had fallen because they did not know how to set the subject of the incantation.
As for the pact Kyran perford with Ezra, he set the subject of the Shared-Connection incantation to the Montgoray's allegiance. Its scope was as follows: If any one of them thought of betraying the family or exposing the truth about Kyran, or if one of them were being tortured while being subjected to forced extraction of information by magic, Kyran would know it.
If that happened, another incantation included in the pact would trigger, where all information about Kyran would get filtered.
The sa went with the person subjected to forced extraction of information.
The extracted information would not include anything that would point toward Kyran. For example, the person would fail to recall Kyran's na or face or how Ezra made contact with him.
Of course, such an incantation was not without flaw.
If the mage who did the extraction had a higher mage level than the caster of the pact— in this case, Kyran— they could still find so clues.
This flaw was sothing Kyran had no control over and had no plans on preparing counterasures.
Besides, he was positive the Royal Family already knew the 'Regis's Young Master' was the new Void Master. The only thing Kyran wanted to keep hidden from them was the fact that he and Tyr were the sa person.
Once the pact was made, a mark of five interlocking circles that was visible only to all involved parties would appear near the soft hollow portion of their necks.
It took Kyran two hours to complete the pact and another ten minutes to perform it on Ezra. After which, the mark appeared on his and Zuri's neck.
Kyran also had the mark. But instead of it appearing on his neck, it appeared on the back of his left hand.
Two hours after the pact was completed, Kyran had Ezra explain the structure of the Montgoray Family. He also asked about the current relationship between the Montgoray Family and the Dinaeri Family.
Initially, Kyran was not interested in the latter subject. However, upon recalling Lev's attitude after calling him a Dinaeri in disguise, Kyran thought it would not hurt to understand the Montgoray's situation a little better.
When Ezra finished explaining the structure and the current situation of the Montgoray and the Dinaeri, Kyran told them about the outsiders.
As soon as he explained the possibility of the Royal Family working with the outsiders, the expressions of everyone inside turned grim.
Stella and White Lily already knew this but rembering it still caused them grave concern.
After that, Kyran gave them a rough explanation of his current manpower. He did not tell them who he was working with, but the fact that he had already made contact with two other forces and already established an agreent with them was surprising.
Stella, White Lily, and Silas were equally surprised.
In the first place, White Lily had other Spirits keep watch of Kyran's activity as soon as he appeared as Tyr.
However, there were instances when Kyran disappeared to who knew where and they ended up not knowing what he did.
As of this mont, White Lily was unaware of Zephyr's existence, or that Tritus was now his Sigil. The sa was the case with Byron and the Blue Lotus, which was all good in Kyran's opinion. He would tell them everything when he completed his preparation.
To think he had been busy looking for another way to gather his own military force.
Stella sohow felt saddened that Kyran did not consider the Conclave his ally. Then again, as long as the Conclave remained neutral, she could not really complain.
While it was true she had already declared the possibility of the Conclave leaving its neutral state; it was only that— a possibility. Depending on what the Three Noble Families— excluding the Montgoray Family— would do after the military exercise, they could still retain their neutral status.
"If you needed a detailed record on all mbers of the Elder Council, I could send over the information," Ezra told Kyran.
Kyran shook his head, "There is no need. I'll let you handle the rest."
"I understand."
"I'll set up a ti where you can et the others," Kyran told Ezra.

White Lily asked Kyran telepathically.
'You can co if you want. But Stella must not know.'
[Why are you excluding the new Ti Keeper?]
Kyran hesitated only for a second before answering, 'I can't let them et yet.'
He did not expound on his words, but White Lily understood.
Kyran planned to let Ezra et not only the other people he was working with but also 'her.'
The woman he was hiding in that cottage.
[Very well.]
"I will await your instruction," Ezra replied.
"One last thing," Kyran looked at both Ezra and Zuri aningfully. "About the matter of the Regis not being a problem."
Ezra looked at Kyran in anticipation.
When he declared those words, he felt Kyran's confidence and was curious why. To be honest, if he were given a chance to make contact with the Regis Clan, he would gladly accept it. Because they were sheltering the Spirit Child, and he had wanted to et her for a long ti now.
After all, both of them might be related.
Kyran touched his mask (in Ezra and Zuri's case, however, it only looked like he was touching his face), "Here's why."
As soon as he removed his mask, the room fell silent.
Seeing the face under the mask left Ezra and Zuri's minds to reel in shock.
The face under the mask was also handso. While Tyr's handsoness had a feminine touch to it, the one they were looking at now was more manly and younger. And instead of aquamarine eyes, dark gray eyes were looking at them.
"Black hair... dark gray eyes...." Ezra muttered, his eyes widening in complete shock.
This turn of events was sothing he had not anticipated. To think the new Void Master appeared in the Regis Clan!
The sa clan that birthed the Dragon Lord!
"Yes. That's right. I am a Regis... And not just any Regis. I am that 'Regis Young Master' that the Royal Family has said to be 'missing.'"
