"Ashran, you an Slav was working with him?" Darius was looking at Pryion, he was still shocked to learn that there was more connecting Slav and Ashran.

Pryion nodded his head, he turned back to the mories they were seeing.

"He followed Ashran’s will without saying anything, even though he never beca a full disciple of the Dragon god. He revered him and always made sure that everyone would too."

Darius noticed that the mory had changed; he turned to see what was happening, and it was different from the temple.

The Dragon Kings had ordered us, their champions, to collect the orb from Slav and make sure that nothing was going to stop us.

The other six champions and I led an army of two hundred soldiers from the beast realm to lay siege to Slav’s temple.

Darius’s eyes widened as he saw the army and how powerful they looked. He saw the other champions with Pryion by their side, leading them.

"That’s so army, I know you all are going to get sothing out of all this." Darius turned to look at Pryion.

The Knight was silent, he let out a sigh before looking up.

"We thought so too."

Darius turned his attention back to the mory, he noticed sothing.

As we drew close to Slav’s temple, we saw him waiting for us. In his hands were his divine weapons; in his left hand, he held his staff Kurgon, and on his right, he held his divine sword Ve’xa.

Darius’s eyes widened when he saw Slav wielding Ve’xa. He was shocked to see that Slav knew how to use a sword, and he had gone soft on him. And he was not using any blade but Ve’xa.

’Why was he not using his full power when he faced ?’ The warrior thought to himself, his eyes still on the Knight’s mories.

The mont we drew close enough, Slav struck Kurgon on the ground, and there was absolute chaos. The warriors we had assigned to aid us all turned on each other and began killing themselves.

They were screaming in agony and pain as they killed each other, brother killing brother, forr comrades slaughtering one another, and Slav stood there and watched the chaos unravel with the sa smile on his face.

When it was only twenty n still standing, Slav raised Ve’xa.

"Eat up, Ve’xa!" He yelled, the blade let out a screeching cry, before we saw the mana cores of the fallen warriors being taken into the blade, feeding it.

Once he was done, Slav made his move, killing the remaining twenty n in the blink of an eye. I and the other champions stood firm, prepared to win.

But then, even though with the powers of the seven elents given by the Dragon Kings, we stood no chance. We battled Slav for fourteen days and nights, barely surviving, and he toyed with us as he made sure that we would see the mighty gap between us all.

He made sure to place us under his feet, he laughed at the idea that the champions of the seven Dragon Kings were beaten. We were ant to be unstoppable forces that all the divine order respected, but he managed to break us.

On the last day of our clash, we were all on the floor, wounded and scarred from what seed to be a pointless siege. Slav approached , bending over to look in the eye.

"Let the Dragon Kings, and any of the other divine woohoos, see sparing your lives as a warning. If any of them try to co here again, I will not be so rciful."

Slav then stood up, and he walked away, not looking at us. He walked back to his temple, locking himself away, for eons, anyone who dared go close to the temple would suffer and die.

That day would be forever known as the Slavs’ Siege...

Pryion slowly let go of Darius’s hand, breaking him free from the mory. The young warrior was still horrified, looking at the knight, still in shock at what he saw.

Darius moved back a bit, sitting down, and he held his head.

"What am I in the middle of?"

Pryion was looking at his master as he walked closer to him. "My Liege, no matter how far you run from it, the battles waiting for you are going to keep getting stronger and stronger. You need to know what you are going to be fighting for and what you seek to gain from all this."

Pryion bowed his head, "Whatever decision you make, I will be your humble blade."

Darius was looking at Pryion. He was a bit relieved that he learned about Slav, but that still didn’t answer his question: what were those three beings he had seen, and what were they talking about?

"I never wanted to be a part of anything like this. How am I being pulled into sothing like this? Why am I in the middle of all this? Why ?" Darius ruffled his hair, he couldn’t seem to understand how he would keep stepping into trouble no matter how hard he was trying to avoid it.

"The powers within you are the very powers that made the Dragon Kings and other parts of the divine pantheon of each realm allies. They all worked together to seal that power, and now you wield it," Pryion was, looking at Darius.

"No matter how much you try to hide it, the powers of chaos would always bring more enemies. My only advice to you is get stronger, my liege, sharpen your blade, and get ready."

"I need to get so rest," Darius said, standing up. He looked at Pryion. He couldn’t handle more information like this at the mont, his head was already too heavy. "I will see you soon, Pryion. Get so rest, you need it too."

Darius stepped out of the training dinsion, his eyes heavy and his legs weak. He fell on his knees and couldn’t control the tears from falling from his eyes.

"Ah, why am I crying now?" He cleaned the tears in his eyes, he wasn’t sure if he was ready for anything else. "Oi, Azree, can I handle all this? What if I die or get captured by sothing stranger? Why am I so scared? I don’t want to be in the middle of anything like this?"

’What state are you in? Where is the block-headed warrior that would always stand tall?’ Azree, for once, sounded like a consoling voice to Darius.

"I don’t know what to do, I only want to be with Lena and make money to take care of her. I never signed up for this, I wanted to live a peaceful life with her." Darius was pouring his eyes out as he curled up on the floor.

’Darius, you are stronger than most warriors out there. But even the mightiest beings can’t control their fate, but I have seen you defy it ti after ti, you, my dear, are going to be one of the greatest beings to walk this earth.’ Azree tried his best to encourage Darius, his words were comforting for our young warrior.

"So what do I do from here?" The young warrior muttered.

’What you have always been doing, get stronger and evolve. And if you ever feel worried or scared, I will be here to help you get up.’ Azree said.

Darius, lying on his back, looked up at the ceiling. He knew there was no stopping it. He would have to keep pushing forward.

"Thank you, Azree, I will get stronger- I will make sure nothing is going to take down!"

’You’re welco, I know you will be able to overco it all. Whatever cos your way.’ Azree responded.

"Our way." Darius corrected, and he managed to force a smile on his face.

’Hmm, yes, our way.’ Azree chid in a happy tone.
