Darius was standing there, and the warriors standing close to him were shocked to see that he was immobile.
"What happened to him?" Michael walked close, examining Darius, trying to see if he would see what was wrong with the white-haired warrior.
Theo stood there looking at both of them, and he knew exactly what might be going on.
"Don’t move him; just let him be." He muttered as he turned to walk to the dead Orc; he leaned in and harvested the Orc’s mana core.
"They were one heck of an experience for us." He said while getting back up from the floor, looking up, he could see the two Transponders walking towards them.
"You cleared the dungeon!" The injured transponder spoke up; he was looking around to see if he would understand what was going on.
"Did you all find out what happened to the mbers of the Ghastly Ghouls?"
Theo turned to the transponders; he was surprised to hear that sothing had happened to the Ghastly Ghouls.
"That’s right, Nathan was standing alone. What might have happened to them?" He turned to Michael; he wasn’t sure what had happened to the n who entered the dungeon with them.
Michael noticed them looking at him, and he was a bit shocked.
"I didn’t see what happened to them; we ca in, and that stupid wave blew, separating us." He scratched his head, turning to the forest.
He didn’t know what they were expecting to see or even hear.
Theo grew a bit worried; he knew that Nathan was already out of the picture, but then.
"They are dead..."
The warriors and transponders turned to look at Pryion; he was looking in the direction where the shrine stood.
"Five warriors, they seem to have been sacrificed by the Orcs when they were found, so there are none of them remaining."
Pryion could see that far, turning slightly.
"It seems the warrior my liege had struck still lives, and it appears that he is making his way out of the dungeon."
"Nathan..."
Theo cursed under his breath, but then he knew that he wasn’t going to be able to do anything for now.
He looked up to see that, at least, if anything, they were still alive after all that fighting.
"That shouldn’t be a problem for now; we have to make sure that nothing happens to Darius..."
"Happens to whom now?" Darius spoke up from behind Theo.
"To you," Theo was facing the others, not seeing that Darius had woken up.
"And also we need to—"
Theo paused; he turned his head to see the white-haired warrior looking at him with a smile on his face.
"You idiot!" He rushed for Darius, while the white-haired man evaded him.
"You didn’t think I would be knocked out for long." Darius smiled, trying to avoid Theo’s hit.
"You shouldn’t have let act all commando!"
Theo was trying to hold Darius, but the warrior was fast and slippery.
The others were looking at them, surprised to see the kind of relationship they had with each other.
Raya stared at Darius Winters; she could see that all he said at her father’s workshop wasn’t a joke.
’He is soone different from all the other warriors; I would love to know how far he is willing to go..."
A faint smile on her face as she moved forward.
"Darius Winters..."
She called out, prompting Darius to stop dodging Theo. Theo yanked Darius’s collar, turning to look at Raya too.
"Yes?"
Both of them were waiting for her to speak up.
Raya took a deep breath; she was looking at Darius.
"I would humbly request to join your Guild..."
There was silence; no one had expected it, but Darius had a smile on his face.
"I don’t know; why don’t you ask my captain?" He turned to look at Theo, who had him by the collar. "Oi, Captain, whatcha ya say?"
Theo turned to look at Raya, and he knew what it ant for an SS-ranked warrior like herself to be in the guild.
"Of course!" Theo pushed Darius off, his arms in the air as he smiled.
"It would be an honor to have you as part of our guild."
Raya smiled; she didn’t know why, but it felt warm close to Darius and Theo.
Raya bowed her head, looking at the warriors; she was happy.
"Thank you, I will be sure that I will be useful."
"No need for all that..." Theo smiled, turning to Darius; both of them began jumping up and down like children who had won a gift.
Michael cleared his throat before stepping forward, too.
"Can I say sothing too?" He said it whilst his hand was raised.
Theo and Darius turned to look at him; they didn’t know what he was planning to say.
"Can I join your guild too?" He looked down; there was no clear way for him to say it. "For a long ti, I wanted to stay alone. When I saw the way the warriors were acting, I didn’t want to be involved with them in any way and wanted to stay on my own."
He stared at Darius; he knew there was sothing about the warrior.
"I wanted to find a guild that would be the sa thing with a family, so can I—"
"You do know all that wasn’t needed for the request; you could have just said, I want to be in the guild, and we would say yes or no."
Darius cut him off; he was scratching his nose.
"Eiii!" Michael pulled his hair, looking at Darius. "But I had a whole speech prepared!"
"What is this middle school?" Darius was looking at the golden-haired warrior; he didn’t want to hear any other thing from him.
Michael fell to his knees as tears started falling out in a funny way.
"So this is what it ans to be rejected by a guild..." He was trying to keep his head down.
"You idiot, who told you we were rejecting you?" Darius asked, looking at the golden-haired warrior.
Michael looked up, staring at Darius; he didn’t know what he was trying to say.
"So what does this an?"
Darius turned to Theo, then back to Michael with a smile on his face.
"Welco to the Broken Blades Guild."
