Jack stared at his tablet, surfing the web with a panicked expression. He cursed under his breath, wondering why this problem had co up just when he was replacing Huan.

"Did you get the file from Leo?" Alexander asked impatiently.

"Yes, boss. I’m downloading it."

"Give it to ."

Jack swallowed hard and imdiately handed over the tablet. Seeing Alexander’s annoyed expression made him panic even more.

"You really need to upgrade your skills for this kind of thing."

Jack looked down. He had never planned to beco a personal assistant. Although he had grown sowhat used to it after watching how Huan worked, it was still not his main duty. He would rather kill soone than stand awkwardly in etings while his boss worked.

Alexander stared intently at the screen. The next second, he grabbed his phone from the table and handed the tablet back to Jack.

Jack was surprised and hurried to follow his boss.

At the mansion, Alexander imdiately went to his study, where Roger and Malvin were already waiting. Roger turned toward him at once.

"I heard from Lucas."

"Where is Nael?" Alexander asked as he sat on the sofa, motioning for the two of them to sit as well.

"In his room with Lucas. I haven’t said anything yet. I was afraid you might have sothing planned," Malvin replied.

"But how is he? I an, is he a reliable person?" Malvin asked, still believing that Nael was smart enough to choose his own lover.

"What did he do to Nael?" Roger asked impatiently.

"Leo sent a lot of photos of his victims. He sells them on dark sites. But I didn’t see any that looked like Nael," Alexander replied.

"What? He sells their photos?" Roger shook his head furiously.

Malvin looked worried. "How is Nael? Will he understand if we separate them suddenly? He still has his final test. I’m afraid—"

"I have no other option but to deal with this imdiately," Alexander said. "I can’t guarantee what will happen if I postpone it. I don’t want to risk it. Nael is the one who will suffer the most."

Malvin looked down. "I feel terrible. He said many tis that he feels lonely. I thought I spent enough ti with him. How could this happen?"

Alexander stayed silent, guilt weighing heavily on him. How could he have avoided the boy for seventeen years? He felt like the source of the problem himself.

Roger sighed irritably. "Can I kill him?"

Alexander shook his head. "Steven will handle him. But now, you need to understand what happened to Nael and treat him with more care, especially now that Nathan is here."

If sothing like this had happened with Nael and Zimr because he had let go too much, he would regret it deeply. He wished he could control his younger siblings better.

"I think Nael just needs us," Malvin said softly. "He’s very smart but also very sensitive. He’s not like the others. You can win him over just by taking him to the playground. He trusts people easily."

"Yes. I don’t think he needs to be controlled," Roger agreed. "We just need to give him more ti. After all, we grew up like orphans, without parents. We try to make up for that, but it will never be the sa."
