Wham!

Rogue A slamd into a nearby wall with such force that it beca part of a huge crater. He did not even twitch, but he was certainly not dead. Allen had adjusted his strength albeit reluctantly.

"Damn you! How dare you touch my homie!"

Rogue B drew his sword with a furious look on his face.

Then, the sword blazed with a crimson fla. It must be a magic sword filled with the magic of fire. These weapons were also part of the magic tools.

The area around the restaurant suddenly beca noisy due to the fact that the sword was drawn in the middle of the street.

Allen shouted, "Charlotte!"

"Eh?!"

Rogue B, undaunted by the sparks of fire from the sword, aid towards Charlotte's heart.

"If you so much as lay a finger on her with your filthy hands...!"

Allen quickly activated an ice magic, which omitted all spells, into the sword to neutralize it.

"I'm going to grind every piece and bits of you to the ground without leaving a single piece of flesh!!"

Right after, Allen unleashed a fist with all of his might. The magic sword snapped easily, and Rogue B took a blow to the guts and spat blood all over the place.

"Hah... that's refreshing."

As soon as it was over, Allen briskly wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"That's aweso!"

"You've done it, brother!"

"You did well! Serves them right!"

The passersby, who had been watching with bated breath, roared with thunderous cheers. Among them, there was also that street vendor, who applauded with all her might. No one was worried about the rogues.

"Ah, thank you for your support... uh"

Allen was responding to the audience graciously, when he suddenly rembered sothing. He imdiately turned and lowered his gaze to Charlotte, who was right behind him.

"I'm sorry. I was the one that said we shouldn't fight, but I just couldn't control myself... Did I scare you?"

"No, no..."

Charlotte gently shook her head absentmindedly.

Her complexion was a little pale, but... a smile appeared on her face.

"Violent isn't right, but I know you just wanted to help . Besides..."

Charlotte gently held Allen's hand.

Her slender fingertips did not tremble in the slightest, and the warmth seeped into his heart.

"I would never be afraid of Allen."

"... Is that so?"

Allen finally felt relief.

It seed that only in such a turn of events, Charlotte hating or being afraid of could be avoided.

Oh? I thought that Charlotte was going to hate right away for fighting...

And Allen was prepared to accept her anger...

That consciousness changed before I knew it. Was this the change that Erika was talking about?

"Huh... so that's how it is."

"What?"

"No, no. It appears I'm losing my touch."

Allen put his hand on Charlotte's shoulder and told her with a smile.

"Teaching you mischiefs... seems to be very addictive."

"W-what do you an?"

Charlotte cocked her head.

Unfortunately, the words "love" and "romance" were not in Allen's dictionary.

He had never been involved in such a bittersweet event in his life.
