Soon, the afternoon class began—and this was one of U.A.'s most distinctive subjects: Hero Fundantals.

"I walked in through the door normally!!!"

With a thunderous bang, the classroom door was slamd open as All Might, sporting his iconic golden horn-like tufts of hair, strode confidently toward the podium.

"It's All Might! That's insane—he really teaches at U.A.!"

"That's his Silver Age hero costu! The art style feels completely different—goosebumps!"

The class imdiately erupted into excitent. Every student present had grown up listening to All Might's legends, and seeing the real man standing before them was overwhelming. Even Masata felt his heart stir.

Strong. Free. Loved by the people. And paid obscenely well.

That was exactly the kind of hero Masata wanted to beco.

"The course I'm in charge of is called Hero Fundantals!" All Might announced proudly."It focuses on various forms of training to solidify your foundation as heroes!!!"

"This subject is extrely important throughout your entire student career—by the way, it also carries the highest number of credits."

With an exaggerated stretch, All Might pulled out a white card from behind his back. Written boldly on it was a single word:

[BATTLE]

"Without further ado—today's lesson is combat training!!!"

"Yes! Finally a class that lets us move!"Masata's blood imdiately began to boil, a grin spreading uncontrollably across his face."I've been waiting for this!"

"Since we're talking about combat—then!"With a deep rumble, part of the wall beside the classroom began to shift as All Might spread his arms wide.

"I must introduce the battle uniforms!!!"

"OHHHH!!! The battle uniforms!!!"

The classroom, which had only just cald down, exploded once more. In every student's mind, a battle suit was one of the ultimate symbols of becoming a hero.

"These uniforms were designed based on the Quirk profile and personal preferences you submitted before enrollnt," All Might continued."Now, please change into your battle uniforms and assemble imdiately at Beta Square!"

When Masata finally saw everyone gathered in their gear, he couldn't help but whistle softly.

"Wow… even though I knew your design beforehand, it's still incredible seeing it in person," Masata murmured as he leaned closer to Yaoyorozu Momo."But isn't it a little… you know."

Yaoyorozu's face flushed faintly as she felt his breath near her ear.

"I couldn't help it," she replied quietly. "To create larger objects, more skin exposure is unavoidable. It's troubleso… but don't worry, I'll be careful."

She looked genuinely adorable like that.

Looking around, Masata realized that everyone's costus were impressive in their own way—Bakugo's grenade gauntlets, Tsuyu's sleek diving suit, and Ochaco's futuristic combat outfit all stood out.

Only now did Masata realize sothing else.

When she wasn't in her school uniform, Ochaco looked… very different.

Ochaco herself looked slightly embarrassed. Because her written description hadn't been very specific, the designers had turned her outfit into a tight-fitting suit without asking—sothing that made her uncomfortable.

"Hey! Izuku, are you copying All Might?"A loud voice rang out as soone pointed at Midoriya Izuku's costu."It's obvious at a glance!"

"Well… yeah," Izuku admitted shyly. "My costu was designed with All Might as inspiration. But Masata's suit… isn't it a little too simple?"

Izuku's words echoed what many students were thinking.

Compared to armored suits, helts, and weapons, Masata's outfit was… plain.

A black vest and black combat pants made from an unknown material. Heavy black boots.

That was it.

"Hahaha, I don't think it's casual at all," Masata replied with a mysterious grin.

"You see, this vest is a super vest—high-temperature resistant, extrely tough, breathable, sweat-absorbing, won't shrink after washing, and incredibly durable!"

"The boots and pants are also heat-resistant and reinforced. And by the way—this vest's material isn't inferior to Aizawa-sensei's capture scarf."

Masata's battle uniform had been planned long ago. He didn't care about style—only one requirent mattered.

Heat resistance.

And eting that single condition had almost drained Masata's savings accumulated since childhood.

"From my perspective," Masata continued,"no matter how advanced a battle suit is, it's still just auxiliary equipnt. As long as you're strong enough, that's what really matters."

"Besides, you all know my Quirk. Honestly, suits filled with sensitive instrunts aren't suitable for at all. I'd probably lt them the mont I use my power."

"So—"

"It's a man's romance to fight up close and personal!!!"

After hearing Masata's borderline chūnibyō declaration, many students fell into thought.

Indeed, top heroes rarely relied on their suits to fight. They relied on their own strength.

All Might himself could defeat villains in pajamas and slippers while buying breakfast.

The suit was more a symbol—it didn't make him stronger.

"Igarashi is absolutely right!"All Might suddenly spoke, nodding approvingly.

"Class, we must not rely too heavily on equipnt. Developing your Quirks and strengthening yourselves is far more important than chasing external power!"

Iida Tenya, clad in full armor, reflected deeply on Masata's words. After a mont, he snapped back to attention and raised his hand sharply.

"Teacher! I've noticed this is the sa area used during the entrance exam. Are we conducting another urban exercise?"

All Might smiled inwardly.

A student who can read the situation so well really should beco a civil servant instead of a hero…

"You observed very carefully, Iida!" All Might praised."But—"

"Today, we're going even further."

"We'll be conducting indoor combat training!"
