Although Masata knew that if he simply hid among the streets, he could probably drag the fight out for twenty minutes without much difficulty, winning like that felt far too cheap.
If the students watching from behind the screen knew what Masata was thinking right now, they would probably rush over, grab him by the collar, and give him a serious lecture.
Just surviving twenty minutes against All Might is already an incredible achievent! And you're still not satisfied? Have you thought about how the rest of us feel?!
In any case, the assessnt rules never said he wasn't allowed to destroy buildings. Besides, the volcanic eruption earlier had already reduced most of the surrounding area to ruins. Masata felt absolutely no guilt about continuing to tear apart this training ground.
Releasing his grip, Masata entered a free fall from the sky. The roaring wind tore past his ears. Suddenly, his legs transford into magma, and his body abruptly halted midair before shooting straight toward All Might.
Like a teor streaking downward, thick black smoke trailed behind him in the sky. Such a dramatic approach naturally didn't escape All Might's notice.
"So you didn't hide—you want to fight head-on?" All Might laughed. "That takes guts, Igarashi boy!"
All Might had been worrying about how to find Masata without completely destroying the training ground. He had even thought the assessnt might end rather anticlimactically. Now, however, things were getting interesting again.
"Big Spitfire!!"
Masata's right arm suddenly expanded, transforming into an enormous mass of magma. After violently twisting and surging, it ford a gigantic magma arm. At this mont, Masata was already directly above All Might, and the overwhelming weight of the magma fist smashed downward toward him.
"The sa move as in the strength test…"
The moisture in the air instantly evaporated. All Might felt his skin dry to the point of cracking.
"But this level of power still isn't enough!"
Drawing in his abdon and tightening his core, All Might pressed his right arm close to his body and assud a textbook uppercut stance.
"Detroit Smash!!"
The uppercut unleashed with concentrated force created an almost vacuum-like zone in front of All Might. The rapidly rising airflow collided head-on with the magma fist. It wasn't pushed back, but the magma was being steadily consud by the violent air currents.
"Even after passing his Quirk to Midoriya Izuku," Masata thought grimly, "the remaining power is still terrifying!"
Feeling the magma on his arm continuously eroding away, Masata's expression darkened.
This was a strike made purely with raw power—no tricks, no techniques—just overwhelming strength crushing everything in its path.
Even though Masata knew All Might could handle the attack, seeing it neutralized so easily still left him frustrated.
"It's not over yet!!"
Masata wasn't the type to give up after a single blow. Magma surged into his left hand, and after a single breath, another identical massive magma fist ford.
Just because he usually favored his right hand didn't an he couldn't use his left.
Although the airflow barrier created by All Might was incredibly strong, it had no physical form. After completely dispersing the magma from Masata's right hand, it gradually dissipated as well.
At that mont, Masata's second attack arrived—this ti at near point-blank range. Even All Might couldn't fully evade it.
However, his response was brilliant.
He stomped down hard with his foot. The rooftop beneath him crumbled instantly, unable to withstand his strength. All Might dropped straight through the hole he'd created, and the magma fist narrowly missed his head.
Masata's attack didn't stop there.
Seeing All Might's unexpected maneuver, Masata was briefly stunned, then imdiately detonated the magma fist, sending molten force crashing downward.
"Smash!!"
But All Might had already recovered. He unleashed another uppercut, this one with an even wider impact. Not only was the magma blasted away, but the rooftop itself was shattered into gravel by the resulting shockwave.
"His physical strength is still completely unreasonable…"
Realizing this wasn't the place to continue the fight, Masata leapt off the building. Fighting All Might in midair or on rooftops was far too restrictive. He needed to return to the ground—his true ho field.
Elentalized, Masata didn't care about the height. When he was about ten ters above the ground, magma erupted violently beneath his fists, sharply reducing his falling speed. In the end, he plunged straight into the magma pool below.
"This is insane…"
Mineta felt his legs go weak. This was the first ti he'd ever witnessed such a brutal battle. It genuinely frightened him.
"Even though the fight looks intense," Yaoyorozu said calmly from behind, analyzing the situation, "Masata actually has a very good chance of passing."
Fifteen minutes had already passed.
That ant if All Might couldn't defeat Masata within the next five minutes, Masata would pass the assessnt.
"If Igarashi has no other trump cards," Aizawa said indifferently, glancing sideways at her, "then he's very likely to lose."
"Nani?!"
His voice wasn't quiet. Every student in Class A heard it.
"Watch carefully," Aizawa continued. "All Might's strength doesn't stop here. There's a reason he's been called Number One for so many years."
Once again, he said sothing no one fully understood, then closed his eyes and leaned against the wall.
"Isn't this already All Might's strongest form…?"
The unwillingness in Bakugo's heart spilled out. It felt as if dark mist was gathering around him.
If All Might had used this level of power when fighting him earlier, Bakugo wouldn't have lasted even a single exchange. Yet Masata had already held out for fifteen minutes—and was still exchanging blows.
Just how strong is he?
Before Bakugo realized it, his thoughts had changed.
Instead of obsessing over defeating Masata like before, he was now focused on the gap between them.
How far behind him… am I?
