Hiro was surprised to see a monster that suddenly appeared in front of him. Because the difference in power between Hiro and the monster was quite large, the HP bar of the monster was dark red in Hiro’s eyes.
The zombie-bat like creature monster continued to hiss at him. It emitted sound waves that made Hiro’s ears hurt, like they were being stabbed by two sharp objects.
Hiro had no ti to think. Even if he had to run away, the direction back to the safezone of Vul Faldur city was behind the boss monster’s back. With both its wings outstretched, Hiro’s escape route was closed.
“Dammit!” Hiro tightened his grip on the hilt of the blood-eater vampire sword that didn’t budge a bit.
Luckily, the unique sword skill wasn’t on cooldown because Hiro didn’t use it against the previous monsters. Even so, he didn’t expect to get a surprise attack like this.
“There seems to be no other choice.”
Hiro positioned his legs to attack the monster that kept emitting strange sound waves that made his ears buzzing.
“Let’s go, blood-eater.” Hiro was ready to activate his unique sword skill as he swung his greatsword at the body of the monster slithering in front of him.
Bang!
A clash occurred, and Hiro’s blade instantly gave off a purplish tallic glow when his unique skill was activated. However, Hiro didn’t see the blood oozing out of the monster’s body and instead, the next second, Hiro was being thrown back violently.
Bang!

“Ugh.” Hiro fell to the ground. His wrist was sprained. But, he must get up soon or he will be killed outside the safe zone.
[Unique skill missed]
“Shit!” Hiro had just read the notification that popped up on his HUD system when suddenly the monster’s hand that had wing mbranes flew towards him like a flash.
Crash!
Hiro managed to stop the attack by using the back of his sword. However, despite looking very weak with broken wings, the monster possessed a physical strength that made Hiro’s knees bend to the ground.
Realizing that he wouldn’t be able to attack back, Hiro jumped even further backwards before the hand managed to rip his body apart.
Whoosh!
Hiro’s unique sword skill was still on cooldown while the HP of the monster in front of him was still full. Hiro thought of a way to last for three minutes until his unique skill could be used again. And he had to survive, no matter what.
The monster walked by slithering using its arms, which were three tis larger than its feet. It moved in high-speed even though its movents looked strange, like a wall-climber newbie who was on his first day.
Screech!
The monster screeched before swinging its hand once again at Hiro, and Hiro jumped to the side at the right ti.
But–what happened next succeeded in making Hiro’s feet stick to the ground.
[Bat Sonar]
An extrely painful sound echoed from the muzzle of the monster in front of Hiro. It was very loud and terrifying. In addition, there was a wave of air that erged like waves hitting Hiro’s body.
The airwaves didn’t have the slightest driving force, but it got sucked into Hiro’s body and made him unable to move.
The monster suddenly shot up by swinging its arms like a booster rocket, then slamd its pointed head to Hiro’s stomach.
Bang!
[Fatal Damage]
[Health -4200]
Hiro couldn’t dodge the attack. A fatal damage made him being pushed backwards. His stomach was bleeding like he had been stabbed by a greatsword.
“Damn, that hurts!” Hiro realized that the boss monster was too strong for him.
Screech!
Hiro tried to force his aching body to stand up. His stomach was no longer bleeding, and he checked the status of his sword’s unique skill before making a move.
“Not yet.”
Hiro realized that just dodging it wouldn’t help him win or buy ti, and that monster knew how to lock his movent. So, he decided to change his strategy by dashing forward with an active sword combo skill.
Splat!
Splat! [2x critical hit combo] [Health -750]
The monster’s head moved to aim for Hiro’s body as Hiro slashed it, looking for a point where he could hit the monster without being thrown backwards, for one more ti.
Splat! [6x Hit combo] [Health -3100]
The boss’s HP still hadn’t been revealed. And that ant only one. The HP still remains a lot, even though Hiro had slashed it rcilessly.
Screech!
Crash!
Its teeth bit Hiro’s left arm very hard.
“Arghhh!”
The spiky-headed monster’s jaws were extrely strong, its sharp, saw-like teeth had pierced Hiro’s arm until blood was pouring out from his arm.

Bang!
Hiro kicked the monster’s neck, and the monster released the grip of its jaw from Hiro’s hand.
“This bat!” Hiro hissed. He had never been injured this badly while grinding.
[Unique Skill ready]
Without waiting any longer, Hiro slashed the body of the giant bat-shaped monster in front of him using a sword combo skill. He repeated it from the beginning until he managed to stack the combo.
Splat! [5x Critical hit combo] [Health -2700]
Attacking non-stop in a very fast movent made the monster couldn’t dodge blood-eater vampire greatsword in the slightest.
A fairly thick red liquid gushed out every ti the sword slashed its body.
At the sixth combo slash, Hiro activated his weapon’s unique skill right away.

[Boss HP has been revealed]

Hiro’s plan worked, and the monster’s HP had reduced. At the sa ti, Hiro’s HP was regenerated back.
“Eat this, you bad bat!”
He continued his sword combo skill to finish the monster off with the buff he got from the sword
Splat! Splat!
Screech!
Two final slashes were enough, and the monster was thrown backwards, collapsing on its back. Its body was covered in blood, so was Hiro, who was trying to catch his breath.

Hiro arched an eyebrow curiously at one of the items he got from defeating the boss monster that appeared out of nowhere.
The item called Lost Acc was a parchnt made of leather and contained inscriptions and sketches that Hiro couldn’t read with his human eye.

Hiro’s eyes gave off a bright red light that moved like a flashlight to scan the inscriptions and sketches on the parchnt.
