A year passed, the school had been built a few months ago. After making the computers, printing and copying machines he made a library.
The class were going to start the next day, at least that was true for the children. Those 15 and up had their own classes.
It was too late for them to start learning everything like the kids so he organised specialized classes for them.
They would learn the trade they wanted and focus solely on that. This was great news for people like Sam.
A few dozen people chose to learn under him, so learnt about comrce and trade from Sebastian.
The man used to be a rchant and was good at that. With so many people there were bound to be troublemakers.
Do he created the justice system as well, of course the number of police were still very low.
Alia took the role of captain for the new police force, it seed she quite enjoyed enforcing the law.
Everything was going smoothly, his nuclear plant project was also going well. It outer walls were going to be made of khaladrenium.
It was strongest tal they had and was very resistant to force. Speaking of, the outer layer of the goose do also had it.
Blinds made of this blue alloy, after the first attack from the draval pack he realised how little security glass alone gave him
Strong as it was, it was not enough so he added blinds that can open and close like windows.
This made him feel a lot safer than before, they had also extended the do from all sides not just to build a school.
The power plant station needed it own sector isolated from the rest. He also extended the industrial sector.
Once they finish building the nuclear reactor and produce nuclear energy he can then use it to launch satellite into outer orbit.
That should be done in about a month, he had already created the first satellite, all that it needed was a power source.
Not to ntion they hadn’t been attacked by any powerful monster so far, things were going great, so great that it was suspicious.
This peace made him want to speed things up even more. He wasn’t the only one though.
Samantha ca to him looking pale, " Sothing is coming." She told him with a pale face.
He sighed, he had a feeling sothing terrible was on the way as well. He thanked her and continued working.
He called Lucy and told her they needed to speed things up. The construction of the nuclear plant had to be done faster.
So most of the other projects were abandoned and most manpower was directed at building that.
I’m two weeks it was already done, in four months they had already built the first nuclear bomb.
By the end of the second year since the arrival of the new people and fourth year since his arrival to this world.
They had 25 nuclear bombs. It was ti to test one but before that he wanted to do sothing else.
He had been building and stacking up satellites, it was ti to launch them. Each satellite naturally had it own rockets.
Over a hundred of them, the rockets were not too large so building them was not too hard either.
Everybody stood tense and watched, the roof of the room with satellites opened up. Everybody heard a humming sound.
The nuclear reactor heat up the liquid nitrogen propelling the rockets up. All 134 rockets were launched one after the other.
They watched as they drew a line across the sky, they spread out to cover more ground around the world.
Of course this many were not enough but they should just just fine for now. In only a few seconds they reached outer orbit.
Everybody watched them through the computer screens and cheered then the caras changed.
They pointed towards the world and the mood grew somber. " It’s dying." Lucy whispered.
The world was red and yellow everywhere they saw. There was no green, not did they see any signs of large bodies of water.
According to them, as far they knew all water ca from either underground or magic. Khali’s thought on the other hand were different.
He too was worried about the situation of the planet but for a different reason. He realised being devoured by the sun was not the only threat.
This world was not dying, it was already dead, it had so many cracks he wondered how it was even still alive.
While watching the world through the satellite Lucy suddenly called him sounding confused. " I think you might want to see this."
He went to her computer screen and through it he saw a large green patch painted over the desert.
It was beeping like a signal. " YEEES." he couldn’t help but shout with joy. What he had just seen gave him hope.
The large green patch was indicating an energy signal. A very large energy signal, except for really strong beings only a few natural energy sources can give off such a signal.
" Volatine." He told them, they raised their eyebrows confuse. " Volatine is an energy source that can only be created under extre pressure and heat.
So it’s mostly found in the cores of celestial bodies like stars or large planet. I thought it would take us ti to find it, if it was even there."
Lucy bead with a smile when he ntioned a new energy source. " What does it do what does it do?" She even shook his arm.
" We’re going to need it if we’re going to leave this world, without it I’m afraid it might not be as easy, perhaps eveb impossible."
They grew silent to that, while this was their ho every single one of them wanted to leave it.
" Speaking of leaving, I think it’s best we start working on the spaceships, we’ll use khaladrenium for the spaceship’s body."
They all nodded, they didn’t know how to build one but knew they just had to follow him and everything will be fine.
----------------------------------------------------------
At the sa ti, in outer orbit of the planet, an old man wearing a robe and pointy hat was looking at the satellite with scrutiny.
" What an interesting artefact, I wonder where it ca from." His face drew closer and stood Infront of the cara.
Back on the planet Viona was looking around bored, she had no interest in anything that was happening here.
Her eyes wondered and she looked at a screen of a computer on the corner.
" Oh, that doesn’t look good."
