The third layer was a volcanic region, the land was covered in ash and smoke covered the sky.
He could see hills spewing out smoke and sotis lava, rivers of lava flowed on the ground.
While they were standing there admiring this place they felt the earth shake. From the distance they saw two lizards running towards them.
The lizards had red scales and eyes and they were huge, standing over 2 tres tall and 4 tres long.
Fire spewed out of their mouths. They all took a stance ready to fight them when Khali stood forward.
These lizards had a trickle of dragon blood but he didn’t know what they were which ant they were a new species born after the great war.
His eyes shone with golden light like lambs, the two lizards slowed down and eventually ca to a stop.
" Down." He whispered, they lowered themselves to him and he patted their heads.
Viona stood forward with her sword ready to cut off their heads. " Whoa whoa whoa stop, this is a new species miss Viona, killing them would be such a waste.
Besides, they can be useful to us." She looked at him, " Can you promise you can keep them in check?"
He nodded,these things had a weak ntal strength, he didn’t need to maintain eye contact to keep them under his illusions.
As long as they’re not far away from him, he would still be able to control them to a certain extent.
He made them stand up and lead the way, as beasts who had lived here their entire lives, they knew which places were dangerous.
The mana density here was too high, especially the fire type mana which increased the chances of a high rank beast or even monster.
He could see Viona and the others with fire attribute take deep breaths. They were at ho but it was the opposite for Lucy, she was basically in hell here. As for him.
As the god of magic he had every attribute in existence. They continued exploring this place and along the way they found a few interesting objects.
Mana stones for one which were very important for cultivation and artefacts like mana ships.
These stones were naturally fire stones which made them useless for everybody else accept those with fire attribute.
However that wasn’t all, they also found tal with fire attribute. Forging with tal like this was hard since it was very resistant to heat.
However it was perfect for what he wanted, he planned to mix it with other tals. They found herbs as well.
He knew alchemy, he didn’t an to brag but honestly he knew everything related to either art, magic or scientific knowledge.
Or rather he did but most of the knowledge he had was sealed in his head. Other than the fact that there were truths his mortal mind couldn’t handle.
The knowledge he had was too much,it would basically override his mind and drive him Insane.
So his brain sealed it and would release it slowly overti. The two lizards were very helpful.
With their help he was able to avoid most of the dangerous areas making their exploration faster and less dangerous.
Better still, keeping these things under his control required very little mana. It was as if they wanted to be tad.
When his mana was about to run out he let them go and sent them away. They continued exploring on their own.
However without their high senses guides they eventually ca across a problem. From afar they saw a hot spring.
They stopped and did not even dare to breathe loudly. Viona pulled her sword with shaking hands.
He grabbed her and shook his head, she cald herself down. He turned and looked at the others and they were all terrified.
Especially Lucy, being in this place was draining her mana rapidly but now under the suppression of this beast, it was getting worse.
Infront of them, next to the hot spring was a creature like those lizards but it had horns and it was much larger.
It body was over 8 tres long, it was sleeping peacefully. Each of it breath released flas so hot they turned the ground red.
This was a rank 2 beast, even if he used his divine energy, the most he could do against it is to escape with his life.
The divine energy he currently had was too little making him weak, once his divine energy points reached 20 thousand his soul would grow stronger.
Or so he believes, he really didn’t know but that how it was for regional gods, mortal creatures with the ability to absorb divine energy from worship.
Once their divine energy reached a certain level, they would morph into higher lifeforms, it was the sa as the mana cultivation of mortals but much better.
Infact in terms of divine cultivation as he decided to call it, he was not even rank 1, it was like Viona when they first t.
She had a bit of mana but she wasn’t an awakened, it’s the sa thing for him, he has divine energy but not enough to be a rank 1 divine.
He made hand signals telling them to retreat, just as they were about to disappear behind a rock he saw a yellow patch next to the lizard.
" Brimstone." He whispered. " What?" Viona asked. He pointed, " You see those yellow rocks?"
She nodded. " I need them." She looked confused. " That’s too risky for just rocks" She could feel the rank suppression from the lizard.
He nodded. " I know but I really need them.". She sighed. " What do you need to do?" He grinned at her.
" Count in." Said Lucy, they all turned and looked at her. " What? I’m interested too, that is sulphur right?
I rember you talking about it and you said it was found near volcanic areas so I’m pretty sure that’s it."
He grinned. " Quite a good mory there miss Lucy." She smiled back, " I know I’m smart right."
" You sure are." They turned to the lizard. " What’s the plan." Viona asked. He looked at her and smiled.
" Why are looking at like that?"
