"Captain... Captain Warner... Is this your child?" Jayce Jennings stared in surprise at the child in Elias Warner’s arms.
The child looked really like Elias Warner.

He casually made a call to Flora.

"Don’t worry, Annelise, Luna has been found. Mr. Warner found her; Luna went to the airport to find him."
Annelise Winter was startled, hurriedly asking: "What? Flora, why did she go to find Elias Warner? Did Elias Warner take her out?"
"No, Annelise, Luna probably saw on TV that Mr. Warner’s plane was landing at night, so she went to find him!"
Annelise Winter hadn’t paid attention to the news on her phone.

He was afraid that June Winter would hear him discussing the child with Elias Warner.

"You were on the phone with Uncle Perry?" Luna’s childish voice rose.
"Uncle Perry?" Elias Warner was puzzled.
"Yes, Uncle Perry. Mommy said I’m not allowed to bother Uncle Perry anymore."
Sure enough, Chase Perry was still a scoundrel.
He had let down more than one woman.
"Luna, I’ll take you back. Your mom isn’t answering your video call!"
Elias Warner wasn’t surprised at all.
A mom who could leave her daughter in the surgery room and not co back would hardly answer Luna’s call.
"Let’s go, Luna, your mom won’t answer your call!"
"I don’t believe it, she’ll definitely answer!"
Luna tried calling again.
The video call connected.
Elias Warner looked toward the video call.
