Unexpectedly, she dared to do it for real, so skillfully, like a seasoned player!

Gone was the look she had back then, where she would blush for a long ti just from glancing at him.

Annelise bit her lip in defeat, putting on a flirtatious and worldly facade, "Not going to touch? Doesn’t Captain Warner feel anything at all?"

Elias Warner towered over her, "What? Do you think I absolutely must touch you?"

His handso, chiseled features were shadowed, "There are so many won in the world, you wouldn’t think I’m still interested in you, do you?"

Annelise was devastated by just a few words.

She pressed her lips together, full of defeat and hurt, "Is that so? Well, I’m sorry. Sorry to bother you!"

"Let go of , let go!"

She spoke lightly, but only Annelise knew how much her heart ached.

Even though this was all part of her plan.

Elias Warner hated her so much, he certainly wouldn’t allow himself to be played by her again, then she would have a reason to leave, and could go to the hospital to find her daughter.

But then she thought of how he was no longer the Elias Warner who only had feelings for her.

She thought of the years apart, he couldn’t have had no physical needs.

Though he had a cold deanor, only she knew he wasn’t really like that.

Her heart felt as if it were being torn apart, the pain suffocating.

But he was too strong, there was no way to break free.

Elias Warner remained unmoved, his face grim as he pressed her rebellious hand back onto the table.

The man’s fingers deeply embedded between the woman’s fair fingers.

Like ten fingers tightly interlocked.

Annelise furrowed her brow, unable to control her sobbing, "Let go!"

"What? Already thinking of giving up?" Elias Warner’s dark gaze watched her beautiful back, the exposed butterfly bones like fluttering wings, trembling under his hand.

The thin strap hung around her neck, tied in a pretty bow.

She was wearing this dress for the date today?

Just a slight tug, and the dress would fall.

Thinking of Herbert Alden’s vile eyes once lingering over every inch of skin here, cold and fiery emotions tore apart.

"Traveled all this way, willing to just leave like this?"

"I admit my mistake to you, I regret it! Don’t you no longer trust , don’t want to care about anymore?"

"Do you think you still have any capital left for trust?"

Elias Warner chuckled softly, finally releasing her hand.

Annelise propped herself up on the table to crawl up, casting a backward glance at him, "I have the dical reports from back then, and the abortion records, do you want to see them?"

The man’s deep gaze squinted.

He just stared at her, "If you have the guts, show them."

Annelise walked to the side, picking up the shoulder bag that had fallen during the chaos earlier.

In the bag were the ultrasound records from back then, various test and lab reports, including the abortion record.

From an unknown hospital in Breslin.

Annelise explained with additional notes, "You might not know because you had already gone abroad at the ti, that year I received the exchange qualification to co to Breslin, for a year."

Fearing he would forget, she stood aside and said, "That year, it was on my birthday, right? You know better than anyone that it was my first ti."

She paused, calmly not blushing, "My birthday is July 8th, we broke up on August 3rd. This report checks the pregnancy ti as nine weeks, just matches the ti back then."

Elias Warner furrowed his brow, taking over, reading ten lines at a glance, his gaze first falling on the patient’s na.

Annelise, 20 years old.

The dilation and curettage surgery date was August 30, 2020.

He examined it for a long ti.

Long enough that the report in his hands, already yellowed, was nearly crushed.

The pain in his heart surged, overtaking his breath, Elias Warner then lowered his gaze to look at the woman standing next to him, her head turned up to look at him.

He was expressionless, indifferently tossing the reports onto the billiard table, "Are you sure it’s mine, not Chase Perry’s or so other man’s?"

Annelise’s breath trembled, "You might have forgotten, but I rember very clearly, the morning after that night, I got my period imdiately!"

If there was any possibility of another man, it would have to be after that period, and the pregnancy ti would definitely shift forward by a month.

Perhaps that night was too reckless.

So the expected visit from the period the next week ca early, rushing in that morning and stopping suddenly.

She was so scared she cried, blaming him coyly.

Elias Warner allowed her to vent all her bad temper on him, tenderly coaxing her, disregarding everything, and rushed her to the hospital.

It alard the entire Warner Family.

It was that ti Elias Warner was punished by Grandpa Warner, made to kneel in the ancestral hall for a day and a night, in the end not repenting, even telling Grandpa Warner he wanted to marry her.

"Really? I don’t rember that!"

He nonchalantly looked down at her, his gaze resting on her flat stomach.

"Even if what you say is true, I still highly doubt the validity of this report. You could fake the check results for Herbert Alden, faking a record from a few years ago wouldn’t be difficult either."

Annelise knew he wouldn’t believe.

This is good then.

Not believing she once had his child ans he still doesn’t know Luna’s relation to her, nor that she is Luna’s mother.

Suppressing the pain deep inside,

Annelise nodded in disappointnt, "Alright, if you don’t believe it, then there’s nothing else I can do!"

She smiled indifferently, "I originally wanted to bring up old issues, using this as a bargaining chip, to threaten you..."

"Forget it, I’m leaving!"

Saying this, Annelise picked up her bag and left.

"Threatening , what do you want this ti?" Elias Warner watched her back.

Annelise didn’t even think, "Of course, the position of the Warner Family’s young madam."

Elias Warner sneered, "Are you dreaming?"

"After this ti, I’m truly disillusioned!" Annelise turned her back to Elias Warner, her spine straight as a pen, "So from now on, I will never use those lousy excuses like the Peace Lock to entangle you again!"

From now on, no longer yearning.

Using this scene, not only successfully ca to Breslin but also successfully made Elias Warner hate her a bit more.

In the future, there will be no possibility at all!

Who is Elias Warner?

How could he let the sa woman trample him twice?

Because other n are not as good as him, so she regrets it and wants to co back.

Proud as he is, it’s impossible for him to bow to her, or to repeat the sa mistake ever again.

This is good.

"Do you think you can co and go as you please here?"

Behind her, suddenly there was a man’s deep cold tone.

Dangerously deadly.

Annelise froze, a bad premonition rising in her heart.

Before she could react, Elias Warner stepped forward behind her.

He clamped her wrist, pulling her to the front.

Her forehead struck his hard chest, Annelise winced in pain.

Startled, "What do you want?"

"Go check!"
