"Daddy, are you leaving? Are you not going to want Luna anymore?" Luna pouted her small face, about to cry.
Elias Warner crouched with his long legs and picked Luna up, holding her in his arms.
"Daddy has so things to do now, but I’ll co back to be with you soon, alright? I’ll stay with you, and together we’ll fight the monsters!"
Elias Warner gently teased Luna’s nose.
Luna cupped Elias Warner’s cheeks and kissed him. "Daddy, you’re not allowed to sneak away!"
"Okay, let’s make a pinky promise!"
After coaxing Luna, Elias Warner went to his comrade Caden Lynch’s hospital room.
Caden Lynch’s hospital room was on the third floor.
Seeing Elias Warner, Caden excitedly sat up from the bed. The sudden movent inadvertently pulled on his wound, causing cold sweat to break out from the pain!
"Elias, why are you here?"
"I heard from the old chief, what happened with your injury? How did you end up like this?"
Elias Warner looked at the bandage on Caden Lynch’s leg, unbuttoned his suit, and stood by the bedside, leaning forward.
"Oh! After you left, I was on a mission, encountered enemy forces, and nearly failed to make an ergency landing. Surviving was already quite lucky—I’ve developed a fear of flying now!"
"It’s alright. Rember how I managed to get through back then? You can too," Elias Warner comforted him.
"If only I had your willpower, what couldn’t I achieve?" Caden sighed. "In our team, who could compare to you?"
"You’re joking again!" Elias Warner carefully consulted with the doctor about Caden’s injuries. "Don’t worry, we have the world’s best dical technology here. Once you recover, you’re welco at Kybourne South Airlines."
"Really? It’s harder to transition from air force to civil aviation than climbing to the sky!" Caden’s worn-down spirit seed suddenly reignited.
Elias Warner stood up and reassuringly patted Caden’s shoulder, "As long as you co, I’ll figure it out!"
Caden suddenly realized, "How could I forget, you’re the Crown Prince of Kybourne South Airlines! I truly believe in you, brother! I’ll start rehab training right now! I’ll co to join you!"
"Of course, I’ll be waiting for you at Kybourne South Airlines!" The two chatted for a while longer. Elias Warner checked the ti, "I should get going; I have other matters to attend to."
"Okay, brother, be sure to save a position for at Kybourne South Airlines!"

Elias Warner only found out a few days ago about Caden’s injury and his subsequent discharge.
By chance, their flight destinations were both Breslin, so he made ti to visit.
He rembered five years ago when he was at his lowest, leaving the country to join the peacekeeping forces in South Surina. When he first arrived, it was Caden who stayed by his side.
Now that Caden was in trouble, it was only right for him to help Caden reignite his fighting spirit and hope.
After leaving Caden’s room, Elias Warner returned to Luna’s room.
Luna’s surgery was scheduled for the night after tomorrow.
However, Luna’s mother couldn’t make it in ti, so her guardians in Breslin, Mr. and Mrs. Jas, had co instead.
All the surgical confirmation docunts would be handled by Mr. and Mrs. Jas.
Elias Warner listened in on the surgery plan and, after the eting, inford Dr. Flora.
"I’ll cover all of Luna’s dical expenses," Elias Warner stated with noble deanor, his handso features illuminated under the hospital lights, exuding an exceptional presence.
Like he was surrounded by a halo.
Dr. Flora was incredulous, "Oh my! Mr. Warner, are you sure? Luna’s transplant costs about two million; it’s no small amount. Luna’s mother has already gathered the money and sent it to the hospital account."
"No problem. Please help transfer that money back to Luna’s mother. Here’s my business card. If Luna ever needs further dical or educational expenses, they can co to ."
"Mr. Warner, you’re like a savior to Luna and her mother." Dr. Flora expressed, "I’ll imdiately inform Luna’s mother of this good news. She will be very happy."
When Elias Warner returned to Luna’s room, she was already asleep.
The little one looked smaller than other kids her age, and she didn’t seem to feel very secure while sleeping. Elias Warner walked to the bedside and, with his long fingers, undid Luna’s little hair bun.
The man, usually strong and rugged, with hands ant for flying planes, seed unaccustod to such delicate actions, yet appeared to have done them countless tis before.
After letting down the child’s hair, Elias Warner gently patted the little girl’s back in a soothing gesture. Miraculously, Luna’s tightly furrowed brows relaxed.
Her body then beca less tense.
As he stood up, a Peace Lock he had kept in his pants pocket slipped out.
It happened to fall into Luna’s small hand.
Elias Warner thought for a mont and then hung the Peace Lock around Luna’s neck.
"Luna, I’m lending this Peace Lock to you for a few days. Uncle hopes you’ll be strong and brave, that the surgery will go smoothly, and that you’ll overco this challenge."
"This Peace Lock is quite magical; there was a young lady who wore it for eighteen years, and she had a wonderful life during those years. So you have to hang in there, too."
"But once you overco this challenge, you’ll have to return this Peace Lock to Uncle..."
Luna slept soundly.
Elias Warner thought, in the dream, Luna would surely hear his blessings.
After a long while, Elias Warner finally sat back in the nearby single-seater sofa fully clothed.
Eventually, the buzzing of his phone interrupted the quiet.
Fearing he’d disturb the child, he stepped outside to check.
The ssage was from the crew group chat, with an @ntion from Captain Morgan: Captain Warner, are you coming back today?
Elias Warner replied: Busy these next few days, not returning.
During the three-day rest here, The Airline had arranged for them to stay at a hotel.
Scrolling down, there was a call from Uncle Ford.
Since he was in the hospital, Elias Warner had his phone on silent when he stepped out to return Uncle Ford’s call.
The young master finally returned the call.
He had been trying to reach the young master since he landed, but couldn’t get through.
Uncle Ford was getting anxious.
"Young Master, sorry to disturb you; Miss Annelise has run away and has gone to stay at The Sandalwood Estate."
Uncle Ford seed quite concerned. Although Annelise was the lady’s goddaughter and her staying at the Warner Family was within his control, he was still worried Annelise might run off.
If Annelise ran away, he’d have no explanation when the young master returned.
"I didn’t dare go to the estate to demand her return, afraid it would alarm the madam."
After all, now Annelise is considered the Warner Family’s goddaughter.
The Warner family rules certainly don’t allow for any misconduct, especially not a brother being involved with a god sister.
Elias Warner pursed his lips, "Is she injured?"
"Checked, nothing serious, just a mild concussion."
"Then just tail her when she leaves the estate."

At this mont, at The Sandalwood Estate, as the transcontinental call from Dr. Flora ca through, it was the middle of the night in the dostic tizone.
Actually, Annelise hadn’t slept at all; how could she possibly fall asleep under these circumstances?
Especially at the Warner Family estate.
She was so worried about her Luna, not knowing how Luna was doing now. Was she crying?
Annelise just stood there, dazed, leaning against the full-length window, gazing at the round moon on the horizon, longing for her Luna.
Luna, do you know that Daddy is in Breslin too?
Even though he doesn’t know about your existence, nor could he possibly co to see you, he’s very, very close to you now...
The phone rang at this mont, and Annelise quickly answered it.
She knew that it could only be Luna’s attending physician, Dr. Flora, calling her at this ti.
