Uncle Ford spoke with conviction, his eyes showing no hint of emotion as he looked at Annelise Winter.

Annelise didn’t want to be seen by anyone, so she tried to take routes with fewer people.

She didn’t take the elevator but used the stairwell instead.

She didn’t expect Uncle Ford to start drafting a legal notice right now.

"It’s okay for you to follow around in Kybourne, but I’ve already taken my annual leave and plan to visit my hotown in Nenvale! Are you coming with ?"

Uncle Ford glanced at her indifferently.

"Miss Annelise, have you forgotten what the young master said before his flight?"

"You’ve already been restricted from leaving Kybourne. Don’t think about returning ho until you’ve paid off your debt."

Annelise clenched her fist tightly, unable to believe Elias Warner was actually being serious.

She had held onto a sliver of hope.

But now, unable to leave Kybourne or the country, how could she go to Breslin and be with her Luna?

Her daughter finally had a chance for surgery, yet she couldn’t be by her side. She’d bla herself for the rest of her life.

With anxiety and panic, all her emotions surged up in her heart.

Seeing her turn pale and biting her lip without speaking,

Uncle Ford frowned slightly and couldn’t help but extend his hand to urge her, "Miss Annelise, please! The sooner you gather the money to pay back the young master, the sooner you can return ho!"

Annelise felt it was unnecessary to waste ti with Uncle Ford here, especially since two fierce bodyguards were standing right behind her.

Under Uncle Ford’s watchful eyes, the two bodyguards stepped forward to restrain her.

Annelise gritted her teeth, closed her eyes, and fiercely avoided them. She glanced at the stairs behind her and twisted her ankle in her high heels!

Ah!

A gasp of surprise!

"Miss Annelise!"

With a loud crash, Annelise fell down the stairs, hitting her forehead against the wall, and "fainted" on the spot.

Uncle Ford turned pale and severely scolded the two bodyguards, "I told you to watch her, who told you to pull on her?"

The two bodyguards were innocent, "Uncle Ford, we didn’t touch her, she was just pretending!"

"What are you standing there for? Hurry up and get soone from the dical departnt to rescue her!"

"Yes!"

...

anwhile, after a fifteen-hour long-haul flight from Kybourne to Breslin, flight Warner Airlines U880 successfully landed at Breslin Kenloe Airport.

In the first-class cabin, June Winter clung to Chase Perry’s arm, sticky and teary-eyed with grievance.

She didn’t want to be a difficult wife, but thinking about how he couldn’t forget Annelise, and their tugging before boarding, made her unbearably sour!

"Chase, are you mad at ? Why are you treating so coldly?"

"No, I’m not mad. You’re pretty good too; it’s just that we didn’t have feelings before marriage, so let’s just get through this honeymoon for the sake of our elders, okay?"

June’s eyes reddened, her heart breaking.

It’s all Annelise’s fault; the honeymoon was ruined just like that.

Nearly all passengers had disembarked.

The chief purser ca over to greet them, "Captain Perry, Mrs. Perry, do you need any help? Other passengers have already disembarked."

Chase Perry frowned, glanced at the empty cabin, "Sorry, I have to wait below for Captain Warner."

Knowing that Elias Warner was the captain of this flight, it wouldn’t be proper not to greet him before getting off the plane.

If their mother found out he was so neglectful of his older brother, there would be trouble again.

He glanced back at June’s trembling shoulders.

Afraid that his brother Elias would see them occupying the cabin and affecting the crew’s dismissal, Chase held back his temper and directly pulled June away!

By convention, the captain and crew were the last to disembark.

Chase pulled June and waited for a while.

Chase reminded June, "Watch yourself, and don’t say what’s not appropriate to say!"

June glared fiercely at Chase’s back, almost dying of anger!

June saw Elias Warner’s handso but cold face and, though frightened, still stepped forward to greet him.

"Big brother!"

"Elias."

But Elias Warner’s attention was entirely focused on the phone’s receiver, completely ignoring June’s words.

As a result, he didn’t glance at them at all.

"Big brother, we’re also going to stay in Breslin for a few days. Once you’re rested, shall we have a al together?"

Before he could finish speaking, Elias Warner frowned and quickened his pace, walking away.

He didn’t give them any attention!

Chase felt terrible being ignored by his brother!

The call Elias Warner received was from Uncle Ford.

"Young master, Miss Annelise fell and fainted after work this morning. She’s currently in the ergency room! The doctor says she has a mild concussion."

Elias Warner’s brows furrowed tightly, and his face turned completely serious, "What happened?"

"Maybe she didn’t want to go make money for her sponsor and pretended to fall..."

"Conduct a full examination on her! Then send the results!"

"Yes, young master! Should you return early?"

"Why would I return early? Her self-harm has nothing to do with , does it?"

No need to invite trouble.

"Understood, young master, I’ll take good care of Miss Annelise."

Pretending to be unconscious, Annelise had no idea what had happened.

She felt a bit dazed as if Uncle Ford had gathered a few people to carry her around.

The beeping of machines caught her attention.

Only then did she realize they were carrying her around for different examinations?

Annelise continued pretending to be unconscious until they carried her into the ultrasound room.

She was female, but those accompanying her were all male.

So they had to wait outside while she was examined.

After the doctor finished the exam, they would co back and take her away.

This was a once-in-a-lifeti opportunity for Annelise!

After all, this was Warner Airlines’ ergency dical facility, a place she knew well.

As long as she could escape their sight, she had a chance to slip past Uncle Ford’s watchful eye and out of the safety center!

Moreover, the one doing the ultrasound was her colleague.

So, she secretly awoke and told her colleague she needed to use the restroom, successfully fooling the group of bodyguards and sneaking out of the safety center.

Annelise removed her dostic SIM card, glanced at her watch, and didn’t dare to waste any more ti, imdiately calling a taxi to head ho.

In addition to the luggage she needed to visit Luna, Annelise also took Elias Warner’s extravagant suit with her.

Since he was demanding she repay the three million for the suit, she’d claim it for her own needs now.

Whether Elias Warner knew or not, Luna was still his daughter, so perhaps this suit would be his contribution as a father.

Annelise had already scheduled an appointnt with a second-hand luxury item store, and it was on her way, so she quickly rushed there.

Back when she was the Winter Family’s young lady, Annelise was always a VVIP custor of luxury brands.

Now she was nothing, not even a laughing stock in social circles.

This store specialized in second-hand luxury items, so most of its clients were wealthy or influential. They were cautious not to offend these clients, fearing loss of business, so their service was impeccable.

Under their gentle service, Annelise took out Elias Warner’s suit.

"This is what I want to sell today, na your price."

The suit’s market price was three million; she should be able to get at least one and a half million for it, enough to cover the remaining dical expenses.

The staff nodded in agreent, professionally putting on gloves and sending soone to contact the boss.

Soon, the lady boss swayed out with a twist of her hips. Upon seeing Annelise, she couldn’t resist teasing, "Oh, I wondered who it was, turns out it’s Campus Belle Winter!"
