The appointnt with the psychiatrist today is out of the question.

Uesugi Sakura also took a leave from school, so he has no choice but to stay ho this afternoon.

Oddly enough, Hanamaru Hanabi seems to have been in a lovesick state all afternoon.

She keeps asking him what he wants to eat and where he wants to go for fun.

She even says as long as it’s what Sakura wants, Hanabi can give it to him.

Uesugi Sakura thought this state of Hanamaru Hanabi wouldn’t last long.

But unexpectedly, it’s been like this for several days in a row.

...

Tokyo University Hongo Faculty of Letters lecture hall.

Todaka Keichiro arrived early and chose a seat at the back of the classroom,

He took out his laptop and started organizing the materials needed for the small paper the professor asked him to write a few days ago.

These small papers are nothing, just four or five thousand words, but there are so many assignnts about symbolic anthropology to write in the next few days, it’s really impossible, the small paper can only be delayed again and again.

Just thinking about the professor’s lecture on cultural change, multilinear evolution, and all that, is headache-inducing.

Todaka Keichiro reluctantly opened his laptop, connected to the internet, then logged into Tokyo University’s database to search for research information on Steward.

At this mont, Uesugi Sakura suddenly ca in through the back door of the classroom and plopped down in the seat next to him.

"Morning." Todaka Keichiro said to Uesugi Sakura while still staring at his computer screen.

"Hmm... morning." Uesugi Sakura lay on the desk, looking and sounding like he hadn’t fully woken up.

Todaka Keichiro noticed sothing odd, turned his head to glance at his groggy expression.

Strange, you know, Uesugi used to be full of energy in the morning.

He heard Uesugi goes jogging for at least half an hour every morning, sothing Todaka Keichiro felt he couldn’t muster the energy to do.

"What happened with you today? Co to school to sleep in the morning?"

"Too tired..." Uesugi Sakura said while lying down, covering his stomach with one hand, his tone showing fatigue.

"What’s tiring you out, Uesugi?" Todaka Keichiro didn’t care much, thinking he probably didn’t sleep well at night, "Hey, why don’t you help with this cultural ecology paper, it’s driving crazy."

Uesugi Sakura turned his head: "Ugh... don’t want to..."

Todaka Keichiro patted his back, saying: "Bro, help out."

Todaka Keichiro waited for a good while.

No response.

He said again:

"In a few days there’s a mixer event with the Tokyo Art University, lots of girls from their side! Heard they’re going fishing or sothing, isn’t your wife taking classes at the Art University? Why don’t we hang out that day? If there’s a chance, have your wife introduce to a girlfriend or sothing."

"Uesugi?"

Todaka Keichiro gave him a push and waited again for a while.

Only to discover...

This guy fell asleep.

"..."

——————

"Uesugi, Uesugi, Uesugi!"

"Ugh..."

"Uesugi!"

Todaka Keichiro finally woke him up with a loud shout in his ear.

"What’s going on...?" Uesugi Sakura propped up his face with his right hand on the desk, still in a sleepy state, his mind a blank.

Uesugi Sakura felt like he just fell asleep for a bit, wondering why soone woke him up.

"Uh... Todaka, what ti is it now?"

"You slept through an entire class, I even answered roll call for you."

"I see... well, thanks." After saying this, Uesugi Sakura prepared to lie back down to sleep.

"Don’t sleep, your wife’s here."

"Wife!?"

"Yeah, your wife."

Uesugi Sakura seed to realize sothing and quickly sat up.

Looking panicked, he grabbed Todaka Keichiro’s arms with both hands, asking repeatedly: "Where?"

Todaka Keichiro looked at him in confusion:

"Why so excited? Look, she’s waiting for you at the door, says she ca to bring you breakfast because you rushed to school without eating. Honestly, your wife cares for you a lot. Getting a bread to go would suffice, but she went out of her way to bring you breakfast, why don’t I have such a caring girl?"

"You don’t understand, you don’t understand."

Uesugi Sakura muttered, got up hastily, even tossed his briefcase to Todaka Keichiro.

"?"

Todaka Keichiro held the briefcase with both hands, puzzled, "What are you doing?"

"Hold it for first, I’ll co back for it later."

"Huh?"

Uesugi Sakura sneaked a glance at Hanamaru Hanabi standing at the back door, luckily, she wasn’t looking this way.

Then, just like last ti, he stealthily bent down and slowly moved towards the front door of the lecture hall.

Go, hurry up and go.

Through the past few days of interactions with the lovesick Hanabi, Uesugi Sakura understood.

He could only be with the real Hanabi once she returns.

Uesugi Sakura saw the front door of the lecture hall, with no Hanabi outside, so he turned back to glance at the back door and walked straight out.

"Sakura-kun."

"Ha-Hanabi-chan!?"

Sneaking out the main door, Uesugi Sakura bumped right into the smiling Hanamaru Hanabi.

She was dressed in a cute academy outfit, with a small ruffled skirt, a light orange beret on her head, and holding a canvas bag with a bento inside.

On the way, many students looked at her because of her beauty.

At this mont, Hanamaru Hanabi looked at the sneaky, half-crouched Uesugi Sakura in front of her, smiled, tilted her head cutely, and said to him in a sweet voice:

"Sakura-kun, you should have breakfast."

Seeing her, Uesugi Sakura instinctively stepped back, then suddenly realized sothing, and smiled, "Y-Yeah..."
