In a society ruled by law, we should let them spend so ti inside.

"Fatty, you speak."

Fatty quickly closed his eyes: "It hurts, it hurts..."

Kusunoki Kubomaru laughed and placed the Wooden Sword on his leg: "Let’s make it hurt a bit more."

He panicked imdiately: "Hey! No, no!"

"Then hurry up and talk."

"I, I—"

"Got a stutter?"

"No, no, it’s just that I don’t know how to say it."

"Say what you know."

"What I know—" Fatty thought carefully, his face bitter, "I really don’t know anything."

"Don’t know anything and still co out as Yakuza?" Kusunoki Kubomaru glared at him, trying to scare him.

Fatty was about to cry, glancing at the big brother kneeling on the ground: "It’s big brother who made us follow him, saying soone upset him and we were here to give him so face."

Kusunoki Kubomaru didn’t bother with more words and turned to walk under the streetlamp, standing in front of the man kneeling on the ground.

The man still buried his head, seemingly gritting his teeth, with an expression that was both constipated and humiliated.

"And you, do you know?"

The young man didn’t speak.

"You want another round?"

Senior Brother Kusunoki squatted down, Wooden Sword in hand, and persuaded the man sideways, "Co on, you’re already kneeling to ; what pride do you have left? Just say it."

The man still didn’t speak.

Compared to those three silly sidekicks, this man seed to be a real Yakuza.

The fearso demon tattoo on his neck was intimidating enough.

Kusunoki Kubomaru was about to take action when Uesugi Sakura pulled him back in ti: "Beating him won’t make him confess, hand him over to the police. I know soone in the force, they’ll give a detailed explanation."

"You know soone in the police station?" Senior Brother Kusunoki asked.

"What’s wrong with that?"

Senior Brother Kusunoki suddenly smiled: "Nothing."

About 5 minutes later, the sirens blared.

Several officers stepped out of two Crown patrol cars one after another.

Uesugi Sakura didn’t recognize these officers, and after explaining the situation a couple of tis, went to the police station to make a statent.

In the interrogation room, after saying all that needed to be said, Uesugi Sakura asked the officer:

"Who are they?"

"Yakuza, three of them just joined."

Kusunoki Kubomaru said with a smile: "No wonder they’re so green."

The officer remarked with a peculiar look: "That sturdier one with the tattooed neck is actually a hitman."

Uesugi Sakura didn’t have much of a concept: "Pretty formidable?"

The officer explained: "Let’s put it this way, he’s been in here multiple tis, each ti for severely injuring others and getting sentenced."

Kusunoki Kubomaru: "He looks quite young though."

The officer shook his head: "He’s 35."

"He really does look young!"

The officer continued: "We can’t make a firm conclusion on the situation yet, but I’ve seen his past files, roughly suggesting soone sent him to do this.

"Not sure if you’ve crossed anyone, or offended so folks in business.

"Anyway, you better be careful these days, soone might co looking for trouble again.

"Call the police when it happens, local officers will arrive quickly, within five minutes. We’ll notify you as soon as we get the information. It’s late; you two should head ho early."

The policeman was considerate enough to drive the two of them ho in the squad car.

On the way ho, Uesugi Sakura kept wondering if he had upset soone.

But after thinking for a long ti, he still couldn’t co up with anything.

Those guys clearly targeted him, having nothing to do with Senior Brother Kusunoki.

After pondering without finding any useful clues, Uesugi Sakura decided to wait for the police’s news.

In the anti, it was best to carry a Wooden Sword when going out.

"I’m back."

As Uesugi Sakura stepped into the entrance, Aei ca running out, pattering on the floor.

"Brother, why are you ho so late today?"

"So things ca up."

Uesugi Sakura didn’t elaborate and changed the topic with the cake in hand, "For you and Chiaei."

Little Aei had her hands behind her back, tiptoeing, but didn’t take it.

"Don’t like it?"

"What about Hanabi sister? If brother doesn’t buy for sister, she’ll be jealous."

Uesugi Sakura smiled: "It’s inside."

"That’s good."

After taking the small cake, she quickly ran back inside.
