"The other type of relay is the teor relay. It is not just a race against another teammate-it is a race against gravity itself." i i introduced the next ga.

She picked teenage volunteers and the emperor again. The crowd cheered loudly, they were enjoying the unfolding drama a little too much. So of them had a feeling that i i was picking on the emperor in a way. Others were skeptical, after all, these were gas and there was no pain involved. They figured she was using him for publicity.

Who would not want to try out the ga the emperor had failed at?

When they were going to the next ga, Junjie pulled i i aside and he whispered furiously, "Stop targeting , I don’t like your childish revenge."

She turned her face to him, smirked and answered, "Make stop if you can. And you should be happy that my revenge is childish and I have not blown up your palace as I should have done when you decided to hide Mo Liang’s infidelity from .

You have known the secret for five years!!! five fucking years!!! I could have divorced him and restarted my life four years ago. Instead, I wasted away playing the role of the faithful wife. You owe Junjie." she hissed.

"I owe you shit." he hissed back.

They arrived at the Lunar bounce ga area. It was the simplest ga and almost everyone participated. The emperor sat it out and he captured i i by his side so that they could continue their conversation.

"Stop being unreasonable." He whispered to her.

i i had the urge to scream at Junjie. "Unreasonable!!" She raised a hand to smack him on the head but a royal agent stopped her.

"If you want to lose your hand, keep it where it is." i i threatened him.

The royal agent had a duty to protect the emperor, he refused to let go of i i’s hand. She looked around and saw all the eyes on them and decided to move the conversation elsewhere. After handing over the tour group to another instructor, their group went to one of the lounges.

The lounges were empty at the mont as tours were still ongoing. i i did not introduce the anities to the emperor’s group. They walked by the pods, communal resting areas and cot caves. She decided that they should sit in the starlight terrace area. It was the largest area and also the cafe. Guests could eat sothing while enjoying a simulation of the starry expanse and cosmic ambiance.

As they sat down, Junjie’s eyes landed on the vending machines, his stomach grumbled at that very mont.

"Don’t even think about it, I am not feeding you." i i warned you.

Junjie scoffed, childishly, he crossed his arms on his chest and said, "I would not eat anything you offered ."

i i rolled her eyes. "What are you doing here Junjie, I did not invite you."

"I am the emperor, this whole nation is mine. I can go anywhere I want, or are you saying otherwise?" He answered, with a touch of arrogance in his voice.

"You have beco drunk on power I see." she sneered. "I think that I have been gone for so long that you have beco stupider and stupider as there was no one around to slap sense back into your empty skull."

A royal agent stood up, Junjie raised his hand and stopped the agent from approaching them. It all made i i roll her eyes again.

"Your goons have beco stupider too it seems. "If you start threatening your citizens over sothing as small as calling the emperor stupid then you are going to tread on a thin line called dictatorship because freedom of speech is a right. If a make a shitty decision people have the right to call you shit.

Exhibit one, you knew what Mo Liang was doing in space and you kept it from . Shit.

Two, you assigned him royal agents after his little bastard nearly killed and he planned out how to make it look like an accident. Shit.

Three, you asked to delay my divorce so that my cheating ex and his bastard child would be seen as heroes of the empire. Triple shit."

"Enough!" Junjie barked.

"Ooh it is far from enough." i i shook her head and jutted her finger at him, accusing him of wronging her with her eyes and body language. "You were in your car today and he arrived here with his mistress and son." She slapped the table. "It is my day today, an important day and yet you would have watched that bastard claim credit and do a whole photo op."

"That is false." Junjie leaned forward, defending himself in a raised voice. "He showed up with reporters and I told Waning to get rid of him. It is not my fault that you showed up before that could be done. None of this is my fault."

i i leaned back in the chair, snidely casting a glance at him. "Right, none of this is your fault. All of it is mine because I made my bed by marrying him against everyone’s advice including yours. I heard what you said to my mother Junjie."

"In the heat of the mont." He groaned and stood up.

Long Junjie took a deep asured breath, one was not enough so he took a second one, a third and kept going until he reached the tenth. He had been in many verbal and physical fights when they were growing up. He had never won any of them. He already knew that whatever they were doing at that mont, he would lose.

"Is it true that he has been poisoning you all these years?" he sat down again and lowered the tone of his voice. His shoulders fell as if he was resigned to defeat.

"Is that why you ca?" she asked.

Junjie put his hands on the table and sighed. Looking into i i’s eyes, he said slowly, "I did not know. If I had known..."

"What?" she cut in lividly. "What would you have done?"

"I would have said sothing. I would have sent soone to kill him. That bastard does not deserve to live." He replied, seething seemingly.

"Now you choose to say that?" She laughed dryly because she was not impressed. "He nearly murdered when he returned, I am sure that you heard about it. Why didn’t you send soone to kill him then if you were so hellbent on protecting
