In the darkness, they could not make out each other’s faces, just vague shapes. Despite this, i i could tell that the woman was going to scream. Reacting quickly, she grabbed the cleaning lady and put a hand over her mouth.

From childhood, she had been taught how to fight so she knew how to put a full grown human to sleep with ease. In addition to that, one of the things she had taken from ho when she left the Jun family was a smart watch.

It had been given to her by her mother on her fourteenth birthday. The watch could emit a vapor that could make soone unconscious. She pushed a tiny button and the vapor went up the cleaner’s nose.

The woman went limp in her arms, i i put her down on the ground gently and escaped according to her plan. When her feet touched the ground in a small dark alley, she sett off in a run and vanished into a confused crowd of shoppers that had co out of the shopping center that had lost power.

She walked for twenty minutes, stopped a self driving taxi and left the area. When she was safely back in the bedroom, she turned off the EMP.

i i’s heart started to calm down as she sat down on her bed. She still couldn’t believe that she had pulled off such a risky adventure. If she had not listened to her father narrating so of the things her mother had been up to over the years like climbing in and out of buildings to arrest spies and traitors to the empire over the years, she would have hesitated to sneak into that office.

i i’s hand hovered over her phone, she wanted to call her mother and tell her what she had done. Before she could swipe her mother’s number and make that call, she recalled the look in her mother’s eyes on the day she left ho.

That look of disappointnt and betrayal made i i hesitate. She would call when she had fixed the mistake which she had made.

Only then could she face her mother.

She wiped forming beads of tears from her eyes and started looking through the full divorce docunts on the virtual screen of her system, the highlighted parts specifically.

Among the reasons for the divorce, one was marital misconduct and it specified that i i had refused to fulfill her responsibilities such as intimacy and emotional support.

"Son of a bitch!!" she exploded.

The thief was shouting thief.

"I am going to kill him, oh I am so going to kill him." she growled.

It was not just that, another reason was her maltreatnt of his mother Mrs. Sun. He was claiming that she had emotionally and psychologically abused his mother. He also claid that she verbally abused him whenever she was frustrated.

"I am going to bury him." She growled like an injured angry lion.

He also included addiction, apparently her sickness had made her addicted to painkillers and resulted in depression.

i i raised her head and laughed. The son of a bitch poisoned her, her body had beco weak and prone to illness. All the dicine she had been taking had been legally prescribed by doctors.

Further reasons included lack of communication and growing apart. In the docunts was a hand written letter in which Mo Liang talked about how they had beco different people.

Feng Qi had been right, he included the hardships he had endured in space and how he had been lonely but i i had not made efforts to communicate sufficiently and when she called, she did nothing but complain which increased his stress.

For most of the false claims he had made, evidence had been provided or fabricated because they were all false. In the docunts were ssages between them which proved he begged for them to be intimate and she used work and Mingzhu as an excuse not to do her conjugal duties.

There were voice ssages between Mrs. Sun and i i in which she was harshly responding to certain things her mother-in-law had done. Only the parts where i i’s voice had been raised where included.

There were call logs from the space stations, records which showed that he had called many tis but she did not answer the phone or respond to his ssages. Also, there were dical records, prescription refills.

The worst evidence which was to be used against her were pictures of her and her boss sharing als together or smiling and looking extrely close. The pictures were suggestive and made their relationship out to be suspicious.

"Oh, I can’t decide between a grave in the ground or a burial at sea." i i groaned.

No wonder he had threatened her with Mingzhu’s custody, with all this proof that had been fabricated, which judge would grant her custody? She was basically made out to appear as an emotionless, abusive, cheating, drug addicted, spouse.

"We have coffins in the mall and all sorts of weapons and poisons." C4 chid in.

When i i went to bed that night, she still could not decide where she wanted to bury Mo Liang. She had a dream however, and in that dram she kicked him off a cliff.

***

On the morning of the following day, Mingzhu’s video was still trending. It had gone from social dia to the news and turned into an animated video. So people had gone so far as to replace Bao Bao with the emperor. i i was sure that Junjie was furious, he was probably assuming that she put i i up to it for revenge.

Watching the video made i i shake her head and look at her daughter who was enjoying her breakfast nonchalantly.

"Mingzhu, congratulations you are now famous."

"What is famous?" Mingzhu asked between bites of a scallion pancake.

"It ans many people around the world love you." Jingzhe said as he sat down in the chair next to i i. He smiled at her brightly like the shiniest light in the room. "i i, good morning."

His smile was so beautiful, like ten thousand suns burning brightly at the sa ti. i i’s hand found its way to the top of his head and she patted it. "Mmm, A Zhe, good morning. Was your night comfortable?"

He nodded. His night had been amazing but not for the reasons she thought.

As i i lowered her hand, she got a ssage on her phone with an update from the company which made her scoff and laugh at the sa ti. "Space M’s payloads were vandalized as soon as they left at the National Space Cargo Hold last night."

She laughed again after sharing this. The company had made a loss of four hundred million yuan.

"Its your company too, aren’t you sad?" Jingzhe asked her.

i i shook her head. "I hope it goes bankrupt."

She had only a asly number of shares left, her voice was not capable of making waves in the company now. If it sunk, she would applaud from the side. If it swam and survived, she would be the one to poke the holes and sink it.
