By midnight, the ladies were tipsy, hoarse and euphoric. Chi Lian was blowing balloons, i i was confessing her love to Black Guard. Rize was trying to convince Rose to go for a night swim in a swimming pool filled with champagne.

Rose said yes and the won stumbled out of the karaoke room arm in a arm. They were chuckling and laughing like teenage girls with a big secret.

They did not go swimming in a pool filled with champagne. They were all picked up by their significant others outside and taken ho.

For Jingzhe, it was his first ti dealing with an inebriated i i and she was a sleepy talkative drunk. Her body was draped over his, both one hand loosely hanging around his neck and the one clutching a part of his shirt.

"Didn’t they take any precautions to prevent themselves from getting drunk?" He asked assistant Han.

"I’m not drunk," i i slurred, letting go of his shirt. She started attempting to point to her nose and almost poked her eye.

Jingzhe saved her from injuring herself. "Honey, you are kind of drunk." He insisted.

i i blinked, one eye at a ti. "We drunk happy fat water. It was sweet."

Jingzhe whose sense of sll was sharp like a wolf’s sniffed the air. He was sure that he could na the alcohol she had taken, brands and years of production. "If you drunk happy fat water, I am sure that you would not have tried to take a bite out of a dog’s ear because he was so cute and his ears looked like a little nom, nom."

i i giggled and opened her eyes which she had shut. "He forgave ! Black guard forgave and I am his best friend again. To celebrate, I am going to give out gifts to everyone. You get a gift and you and get a gift and you get a gift!"

Jingzhe looked up, wondering what people she was giving gifts to because all he could see was empty space. Was she thinking of the audience from Tea with a princess? He recalled that she was mostly drunk and he shook his head.

"Male vixen." She mumbled as she shut her eyes, "You get a gift too. I will buy you pizza and you get every slice."

He smiled. So the gifts she was giving out were pizzas!

As the car turned a corner and changed a lane, she opened her eyes again, gasped dramatically and whispered, "I have secrets."

Jingzhe arched his brows. "Maybe they can wait for when we get ho and you are tucked in bed."

"Noooo," she cried out. "They have waited long enough and they want to co out now. Don’t stop from saying them. I will hate you if you stop ."

Jingzhe braced himself. Hopefully none of them would affect their relationship. Drunk confessions or revelations were said to be honest thoughts of soone. He hoped that she would confess to loving him.

"I was the one who bit the head off Jun Yi’s Barbie doll." She said solemnly.

Jingzhe blinked. It was not what he was expecting. "Did you think it was food?"

She shook her head. "No, that is silly. Dad missed my ballet recital and went to her swimming competition. I was really mad at Yiyi."

Jingzhe was unsure if this secret was ant to go in the dark compartnt. But occasional jealousy and competition between siblings was not unusual. Biting off a doll’s head on the other hand...

"I am the one that stole all of Mingzhe’s crayons." She revealed.

Jingzhe figured that all the confessions could be cri related.

"Why did you do that?" he asked her.

"Because he kept painting space ships and saying he wanted to an astronaut. He wanted to live in space. He wanted to leave on earth." Big fat tears started spilling from her eyes out of nowhere. "I am his twin sister, he is not allowed to leave ."

Jingzhe tried to hug and comfort her as best as he could. "He did not leave you."

"But I ruined his dream." She wailed louder. "He did not go to space because I ate his crayons."

Jingzhe did not know why Jun Mingzhe had given up his dream of being an astronaut but he was sure that it had nothing to do with the crayons which i i had stolen when she no more than seven years old, if he had to guess.

He did not like to stick his nose where it didn’t belong but he decided to talk to Mingzhe about this and have him talk to i i. She was carrying so guilt around, it seed.

They reached the gates leading to the house and the car stopped. Jingzhe had just managed to calm i i down and as he helped her out of the car, she continued making more confessions from her bag of childhood secrets.

"I murdered soone." She whispered as they entered the house.

Jingzhe stopped walking abruptly. The butler that had co to help them froze. Assistant Han bumped into the wall.

"i i stop talking." Jingzhe barked at her in a stern voice.

He startled the dogs and cats which ran away.

i i wailed and shoved him away. "It was my imaginary friend Shuang Shuang."

Everyone was relieved. Jingzhe mostly.

"She stole my boots and went to live at Zhilan’s house because she had a bigger playhouse than mine. When I went to bring her ho, she would not co and I punched her. Then she fell down and turned into water."

Jingzhe bent down and carried her in his arms. He figured that it would be faster than walking.

i i let her hands dangle down dramatically while she cried between the rest of the confession. "I called Mrs. Chen for help but she could not find Shuang Shuang. The water had dried up."

Jingzhe reached her bedroom and Mama Su opened the door for him.

As he entered, she looked at him with teary eyes and trembling lips. It took him back to the mont when i i realized she would have to pay for her mistake after breaking the flower vase.

Had she learned how to cry from her mother? He tried to put her down on the bed but she clung onto him.

"A Zhe," she whispered, "I have one more secret."

He sighed. "Did you murder another imaginary friend?"

"No, it’s worse." She looked around as if the walls of her bedroom had ears. "When I was four, I stole the Empress Mother’s little dragon statue which guarded her garden. I did not know that it cost so much money. Eighty million!!"
