i i leaned forward, tempted to see what would happen if she crossed the boundaries that her friend was trying to set. "So, if I show up to your engagent with my very well behaved dog on a leash, will you turn away?"

As ihua picked up a fat slice of pizza that had too much cheese, she nodded firmly. "Yes."

i i gasped. "I am your best friend!" She exclaid.

"Whether it is family or friends, boundaries must be set." ihua answered without sha or hesitation. She was very firm when it ca to the things that made her happy or unhappy.

If sothing made her unhappy, she refused to do it, no matter the consequences. The only consequence she considered was death. So only life and death matters mattered.

Pets at a wedding were not life and death matters. Moreover, her family also had pets but none would be at her functions.

"I respect that." Jingzhe said. "Sotis it is hard to drew boundaries with the people you are closest to out of respect or the desire to keep the relationship. It takes guts to stand up for yourself and fight for what you want."

"My hubby is wise and strong." Siping said with a pride smile. His voice was smooth like butter, stars were hanging from his eyes as he looked at ihua.

They could all see that he was already in love with ihua even though they had only known each other for a short ti.

i i smiled secretly, thinking to herself that ihua had struck gold with Siping. As long as they understood each other’s goals and limits, they would have a happily married life.

"How often do you two go for dates?" ihua asked i i.

"As often as we can, three nights a week are for our private dates whether that is at ho or outside. Two nights a week, he takes Minghzu out for their father-daughter dates and I tag along as a third wheel sotis. The other nights are for family." She broke down their dating schedule slowly. "But we adjust according to the plans for the week or whatever is going on in our lives."

"We are great communicators, that helps." Jingzhe told the other couple with a bit of bragging.

"We are great communicators too." Siping chid in quickly. "I tell my...ihua everything about my day. She even goes with to the hospital to visit my grandfather. My nieces and nephews love her. There is a picture of her on the desk at my office and..."

"And all of your pottery has her face lately." Jingzhe finished for him.

Siping blushed.

i i rolled her eyes.

ihua laughed.

The couples spent another hour on dinner, talking about the similarities and differences in their relationships. After dinner, they all decided to head back ho.

i i and Jingzhe naturally checked on Mingzhu first and found her fast asleep with Lian, Mimi and Ming.

What so of her cousins were doing in her bed was a mystery to i i. The children had already gone ho with their parents when she went out for the date.

Jingzhe followed i i back to her bedroom, stopping outside her door. He would be sleeping in his own bed this night.

"Does this count as our first double date?" He asked her.

She nodded. "I think so, we were two couples on the date after all. It was rather enjoyable, wasn’t it?"

He agreed. "I feel like I am finally taking a step into your inner circle of friends. It is one thing to be accepted as your boyfriend and another to be accepted as Jingzhe the friend."

This was because ihua had made jokes with him, been critical and shared her opinions on him, his business and other things openly.

She did not tip toe around just because he was i i’s man. He liked that. He respected it. Rong ihua was an okay person, outside her crying.

"You have a lot in common with ihua." She told him.

"Is that a good or bad thing?" He asked her.

"Very good." she answered.

He leaned down and kissed her on the forehead. His eyes lingered on hers and his smile beca softer. "You should head inside now before I decide to turn on pony and make you wear that dress which is illegal in at least six empires."

The mory of her in that dress would accompany him through the night. When she was ready to take their relationship to the next level, he hoped that she would be wearing that dress.

It would end up being ripped apart in so places however, and he thought that it was such a sha. He wanted to see her in the dress a few more tis.

The more he thought about it, the more tempted he was to follow her inside.

She chuckled and playfully shoved him back. "Goodnight Mr. Vixen."

He groaned and walked away slowly, whistling the pony song.

She rolled her eyes and closed the door.

Jingzhe was still whistling when he was suddenly grabbed and pulled into his bedroom. It was not his intention, but a little scream ca out of his mouth when he was pulled inside.

The way she grabbed him was similar to a scene he had seen in many horror movies where a ghost or vampire or clown or sothing equally horrific grabbed an innocent passer by and gobbled them to death.

"Mom!" he exclaid when he saw Madam Feng’s face. "What are you doing here?"

Madam Feng switched on the light. "What are you screaming for? Do you know how long I have been waiting for you? Didn’t you see the peep star’s post?"

He frowned and touched the smart watch on his arm. During the date, he had not looked at his phone even once. Neither had i i. If the peep star posted sothing, they had not seen it.
