The Mighty Little Peepstar: [A royal funeral with a fake body of what was ant to look like the dead Empress in a glass coffin that cost six million yuan!!!
Humanity has lost its damn mind!!
Anyway, it is not my money and I am not part of the Chinese Empire’s royal family so what do I care?
But I know a few causes that could have benefited more from the money spent on the fake body and the glass coffin.
On to more important things, like the murder of Ai Li five years ago. This picture was sent to my mailbox and I have formulated several theories about who killed her and who covered up the cri.
I won’t share them because I only post facts.
Share so theories of your own. Maybe the police will co out and clarify things for us.]
Below the post was the picture of An Li serving the big shots in the casino. It had been blown up so clearly that everyone’s face and cards could be seen.
It was exactly 01:30 when the post went out and by 01: 40, it had accumulated more than one thousand comnts and shared by one million people and the number was growing by the second.
Now that the Empress had been buried, people needed to get back to their lives. All the scandals that had been on hold were coming to life. An Li’s murder was just one among six scandals but it was already the biggest.
i i almost choked on noodles when she saw the post. Madam Feng spit out the water she was drinking and it landed on Mingzhu and Tea who who was in the little girl’s arms with her head poking near the table.
Jingzhe’s hand froze for a mont and he lowered it to the plate.
Mingzhu just looked around with curious eyes, wondering what the adults were doing. Her mother always said that no phones were allowed at the table during al ti and yet all the adults had reached for their phones when they got a notification at the sa ti.
"What do you think they are looking at Tea?" She asked the kitten.
General Big Yellow barked a few tis, saying in canine language, "I will tell you if you give half of the food on the table."
"Oooooh...this is going to stir a storm." Madam Feng said as she placed her phone down. "I don’t know who did it but I agree with everyone that Hui Zhenting was involved in the cover up."
i i rushed away from the table and run into the kitchen. She went to the large pantry and closed the door while calling her mother.
The mont the call went through, she rushed to ask, "Was it you?"
"If you an was it that gave birth to you then the answer is yes." Chi Lian answered.
i i groaned. "Mother, be serious for a mont. The peep star posted the picture which we found. Was this what you ant by rumor alone is enough to ruin soone?"
"What else?" Chi Lian asked. "The peep star runs the biggest gossip blog in the world. He or she is the only paparazzo with a billion followers. The best way to bring down Hui Zhenting is to get the peep star involved. Everyone else might try to cover up for Hui Zhenting but the peep star won’t do so."
i i bit her lip for a mont. She had thought her mother would take the bull by the horns and use Phoenix dia to ruin Hui Zhenting. They had the ans and resources after all.
It seed like she had assumptions too quickly. Also, she had a lot of learning to do from her mother.
"I heard you got so nice horses. Do I get one or are they all for your mother-in-law?" Chi Lian asked.
i i rolled her eyes. "Mom, you are not a kid, stop competing for affection with Madam Feng. Isn’t it just a horse, I will give you two. One for dad and the other for you."
"You know how to be a good daughter after all. Thank you, my good daughter. I will send a truck and have the horses delivered to your space camp. It is your territory so they will be safe there." Chi Lian said. "Also, they will have space to run around freely between your forest and the fairy land you are building."
i i did not even bother to ask her mother how she knew this already. If she asked a question, her mom would just say, mother always knows.
Rather than ask about that, she asked a more important question. "Mom, let’s discuss sothing more serious. How are we going to proceed with the Hui Zhenting situation? Just spreading gossip alone might not be enough to bring him down. And if it is proven that he has no connection to this case or finds a scapegoat, we might end up achieving anything."
Chi Lian replied in a low voice. "Even if he was not connected to the Ai Li case, he is corrupt. His grandfather was sitting in the highest position in the police and he commanded all the narcotics forces. We have had more drugs entering the Empire under their reign than any other.
We have also seen an increase in cris of kidnapping for ransom and cris committed with guns. Six years ago, I suspected that they were involved so I started looking into money laundering companies that sohow closed after raids and popped up elsewhere in two days.
I found offshore accounts that belonged to Hui Zhenting’s sister-in-law Tuanbao but she escaped the empire before I could find her. I am good, but the Hui’s are not bad either. They know how to cover their tracks and have informants in every branch of law enforcent.
I have been collecting evidence against them for many years. Now that the Empress is dead, as is their biggest backer in the police, it is ti to close the net."
i i walked forward slowly, putting one foot ahead of the other like she was asuring her steps. "Do you want to divide and conquer? I can offer my services. I have Jingzhe with and the two of us can lay so good traps for them."
There was silence on the other end of the line and i i stopped moving. She stomped her foot, frustrated because her mother was underestimating her. "Mom, I did a great job with the Mo’s didn’t I? Why can’t you trust ?"
